Top 5 Hidden Gem Books

1. Highly Illogical Behavior: This book is one that is about a high school boy who hasn't left is house in years because of his social anxiety this book as a really interesting story and interesting characters and the writing style that this book had made this book a really fast read. I read this book last year and became a fan of it right a way but I haven't really seen many other people talking about this book.
2. Reading in the Dark: This is a book that I read quite a few years ago that has always left a big impression on me, it's a historical novel about a family that has a bunch of dark secrets and how the son discovers them and this leads to an emotional distance developing between himself and his family that he can never fill gap without destroying his family in the process. I don't recall ever seeing anyone else talking about this book so I think that makes this book very underrated.
3. Linger: While Shiver the first book in the Wolves of Mercy Falls series was fairly popular when it first came out it always seemed like the sequel books in the series were something that people never cared much about and well Linger the second book in the series has become one of my favorite books of all time. I love Linger for being an interesting take on what happens after happily ever after with the way it deals with how Sam feels now that he's no longer has to become a wolf but still has to deal with the trauma he endure because of him being a wolf before. I loved being the ever self destructive Cole St. Clair and I loved the relationship that he develop with Isabel and I like Isabel getting more development after the first book as well. While this book isn't one I consider a hidden gem because no one read but because no one really gave this book a chance to be anything but yet another paranormal romance that came out during a time when it seemed like almost every YA book that was coming was one.
4. Sinner: This book is the fourth book in the Wolves of Mercy Falls series and since it came out much later than the first three books of a series I feel like a lot of fans didn't read this book because they were done with this series by the point this book came out but this book is surely worth revisiting the series for. This book is one that is about Cole and Isabel living their lives in LA and since their stories were pretty unfinished at the end of the original trilogy this book is a welcome addition to the series.
5. The Looking Glass Wars Trilogy: This series is my personal favorite retelling of Alice in Wonderland and it's also one of the retellings that I hear the least about which is a shame because I really liked how they played around with the story and gave the series a much better leading romance and villain than any other retelling ever has.

Top 7 Books That Surprised Me

1. Reading in the Dark: This book isn't the type of book that I usually read but I ended up finding myself very invested in the main character and how he deals with discovering more and more secrets about his family and how learning the truth put a strain on his relationship with his family.
2. Catch 22: Since all I knew about this book before I read it was that it's a war book I assumed that I wouldn't like it but once I started reading it I found that I actually really enjoyed this book because of it's absurdist sense of humor.
3. Slaughter House Five: This is another war book that I thought I would hate but actually ended up enjoying although not for exactly the same reason, this one I more enjoyed that it had a science fiction element and a non-linear timeline.
4. Anna and the French Kiss: I really expected that I would love this book because everyone seemed to love this book and couldn't stop talking about how dreamy St.Clair was so I figured that I would feel the same way, I didn't. While I do think that the book was well written and it certainly isn't the worst book I ever read, I found that I couldn't get invested in the romance because I ended up hating St. Clair for flirting with Anna for months while having a girlfriend and I found that I didn't like Anna much better. I also found it really annoying that Anna was suppose to be a film geek but thought that Paris didn't have movie theaters because anyone who knows anything about films knows that the Cannes film festival takes place in France so anyone with common sense would assume that Paris would at the very least have a movie theater.
5. Lola and the Boy Next Door: Since I wasn't a big fan of Anna and the French Kiss I didn't think that I would like this one much better but to my surprise I found that I really loved this book. I found that Lola was a flawed but likable heroine and that Cricket was a very sweet and swoonworthy love interest and that I really loved the two of them together.
6. Splintered: I thought that I would like this book a lot more than I actually did because I thought the premise for this book sounded great but unfortunately I ended up not really liking any of the main characters so it made it hard to become invested in the story.
7. Miss Mayhem: I really loved Rebel Belle so I assumed that I would love this book just as much but I sadly found that I didn't love it as much although I still did like it this book didn't leave me eager to read the next book because I was worried that book would end up disappointing me as well.

Top 10 Books I Could Reread Forever

1. Fruits Basket: This series is my favorite series ever and I have already reread the series at least five times and I find that my love for the series only increases with each time I reread it and I can't see that changing ever. This series is a really good one to reread because it becomes clear that the author knew where she wanted to take the characters and series from the beginning so you notice new bits of foreshadowing when you reread the series. The series is one where I just love seeing the characters and relationship develop over time and I find myself just as invested in them on rereads as I was the first time I read it.
2. Reading in the Dark: This is a book I always feel compelled to reread and I think that the reason behind this is the fact that I think so much of the story is about what isn't being said rather than what is said so it takes rereading it to truly appreciate what the book is about.
3. Percy Jackson and the Olympians: I feel like this series would be good to reread because the books are so much fun and I love the characters and world that the series is set in so much that I find myself wanting to revisit this series.
4. Wolves of Mercy Falls series: This series is one that I think would be good to reread because I really enjoy the characters and I really would like to see if I see them a bit differently on my second read of the series. I also feel like Linger and Sinner would be the two best books to reread because I feel like those books are the ones that did the best at digging into who the characters are.
5. It's Kind of a Funny Story: I think this book would be good to reread because I really loved it when I first read it and I've been wanting to reread it sometime in the future.
6. Cardcaptor Sakura: This series is one that I loved rereading because it is one that just makes me happy each time I revisit it because it such a sweet and optimistic series as a whole.
7. Hex Hall series: This series is one that I remember being a really fun read so I would like to reread because I felt like I went through this series fairly fast the first time I read through it because I just had to know what happened next, so I think I reread would help me appreciate the series more.
8. Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle: This series is a long one and one that had a lot of twist and turns in it's second half so I think that a reread for this series is something that is necessary for this series.
9. All the Bright Places: This is a book that I really loved and I find myself wanting to reread even though I just read it a few months ago.
10. Dare Me: This book was a great read and I really loved the writing style that this book had because you got real sense of personality from it and I think it would be a good one to reread.

Top 10 Books I Want to Re-Read

1. Fruits Basket: So I didn't re-read this series yet this year which really upsets me because I re-read this entire series at least once year because I truly believe that Fruits Basket is best series every written and it surely is my favorite. I really want to read this series again because I love it and it's been far too long, I love all the characters and every time that I re-read the series it gets even better which is pretty much never the case but it is with this series which is part of what makes it so special. I love that this series has a pretty positive outlook on life while also showing how dark life can be as well it's nice to see both sides in a story and I always feel that it's really important that the characters were able to overcome as much pain as they did. Anyways I want to re-read the series and actually post more specific thoughts I have on the series but I'm not sure how exactly to do that since I don't think that I can exactly review the series because I'm too emotionally attached to it and I've read it so many times but I know that I want to write about the series characters, relationships and even certain scenes at length so if you have any suggestions on how I should do that please tell me and if you haven't read this series please do.
2. Reading in the Dark: This is another book that I have re-read multiple times already and haven't read in awhile. Although I feel this one I have less of an emotional attachment to but I really do love the book but I don't really remember the book as well as I would like so I think that it's time that I read it again since it's a really great book.
3. Linger: I'm just really obsessed with this book and it's partially because of how most people think of this book as shallow fluff and that really upsets me because I've always thought of this book as really character exploration and I love the book for taking so much time to focus on characters in a genre that is usually about plot and love triangles but this book had so much to do with internal conflicts. I really loved Sam's story about how he was getting used to his cure being true and how he was continuing to heal from what his parents did to him when he was a child. I loved how Cole in this book was really trying to just not be himself to just runaway from himself because despite the confidence he seems to exude he really does hate himself in this book but doesn't know how to be anyone but himself. I loved how this book dealt with Isabel feeling guilt over her brother's death and how she was looking for a way to self destruct with her relationship with Cole. I've talked about how much I love this book before in this post and I think that I could probably talk about this book a lot more if I re-read and was feeling inspired also if anyone wants to talk to me about this book please comment because I really love this book beyond reason.
4. White Oleander: I've read this book only once and it was a pretty long time ago but the story stuck with me and I remember really loving it. I loved how the main character changed so much as she went from foster home to foster home adapting to each new world and I always love the complicated relationship that she had with her mother that ran through out the whole book despite the two of them being separated for most of the book. I really loved this book and I really would love to rediscover this book.
5. Impulse: I love this book it's probably my favorite Ellen Hopkins book and I really love Ellen Hopkins so that's saying something. I would just really like to read this book again simply because I love the book.
6. Rosario + Vampire: It's been a long time since I read this series and I really do love this series so I want reread the volumes that I already read and then catch up with the rest of the series. I'm also thinking that I might end up reviewing this series when I do get around to rereading it.
7. Secret Circle: I just really loved these books and I was just randomly thinking yesterday that it would be fun to reread them so there you have it.
8. Tilt: I love Ellen Hopkins writing and I just really love Shane's storyline which to be honest is probably the only part of the book I would end up rereading but it's such a good storyline and I really would love to revisit it.
9. Tokyo Babylon: This series is a favorite of mine because the last volume just emotionally devastates me and I apparently really enjoy that and I also do need to still review the last three volumes I think of the series so I think a reread is in order.
10. Cardcaptor Sakura: Well if I'm going to reread something as sad as Tokyo Babylon I'm going to need to cheer myself up with something as happy as Cardcaptor Sakura.

Top 10 Most Unique Books I've read

1. Ellen Hopkins books: I really love these books because they are told through poetry but this poetry is easy to understand unlike most poetry and her writing has a way of making you completely understand where the character is coming from no matter how much they frustrate you. I also feel that her writing style is great because it allows for a brief glimpse into the characters sub-conscious which is almost impossible to get into in books not written in a style such as this.I also feel like her books are really different because they deal with such heavy subject matter but it just kind of tells the story through the characters point of view and while things usually don't turn out well for the characters there's no preaching or lessons being taught just characters making mistakes and either learning from them or sinking deeper into their issues.
2. Reading in the Dark: I feel like this book is unique because it's a historical fiction book where the time period isn't the focus but rather the story of the family is the focus which makes this story feel more timeless. I also think this book is different because in a lot of ways it's a coming of age story but it's an adult book and I think it's different that the family secrets are never brought to light just that the main character finds out about them and has to deal with the burden of knowing them feeling guilty for not being able to tell him but also his mother not really wanting him around because he knows the secrets.
3. Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle: I've never read a story even close to similar to this one it uses characters from a bunch of Clamp's previous series but manages to make them all new characters who are the same but different and I love them for that. The story is about having to travel throughout multiple dimensions which is a really cool idea and it has a ton of plot twist although some them towards the end are just confusing. I also love that the story id divide in two very different section the first is more lighthearted and really deals with the group bonding into a sort of make shift family and the second half is darker and is really about them loosing those they have come to relay and also find their way back to each other.
4. Clover: This is a scifi story that it's first two volumes are one continuing story but then the next two volumes take place before the first two volumes which is pretty odd. The idea of what clovers are is very interesting but most of all what stands out in this series is the use of blank space and song lyrics through out the series.
5. Perks of Being a Wallflower: This is a book that is told through letters which is something that I don't see often but it's also Charlie's sincere desire for everyone to be happy that makes this book unique to me.
6. Manic Pixie Dreamgirl: I love how this book is more or less about the main character being wrong about his dream girl and I love that his asshole behavior is something that everyone calls him out on throughout the entire novel. I just love that this book didn't make the main character seem romantic when he wasn't and pointed out that having feelings for someone who isn't your girlfriend makes you an ass for not breaking up with her and that's all on you not the girlfriend. I just really loved how this book handled everything and I loved that it wasn't afraid to make it's main character unlikable.
7. The Darkest Powers series: I really find this series to be unique because it's such an action pack series that deals more with developing powers and plots than romance unlike the majority of paranormal YA series and I think it's better for it.
8. The Book Thief: This book is narrated by death and it's about the regular German citizens of Nazi Germany which is something that isn't shown often or sympathetically like it was in this book.
9. The Looking Glass Wars Trilogy: I just thought that this was a really unique twist on how Wonderland could be a real place how Alice's story could come to be known to the world and how Wonderland could be a dark place but also a place that felt real but fantastical.
10. Slaughter House Five: This book is very strange but also very good and it's odd because it moves around in time so much because the main character can randomly time travel but it isn't something that anyone really notices or real effects his life very much. There was also some aliens that were in the book for awhile and it all connected to the bombing of Dresden, it was just an odd but good mix of things.

Top 10 Books I'd like to see as movie or tv shows

1. Gallagher Girls: I love this series and I want it to be a TV show that airs on USA network who yes probably wouldn't pick this show up but I think that they would remain pretty faithful to the books and the seasons on that network tend to 14 to 16 episodes long only rather than 22 which I think would be good for this series in the long run with there  being less filler episode needing to be made.
2. Heist Society: I love this series and  I would really love if it was a TV show of USA network but kind of doubt that is where it would air if it was ever made but their weirdly the only ones I trust to not entirely change the series and I like that their season are shorter and they already air my other favorite con-artist series White Collar so I think it's a good fit.
3. Impulse: This is one of my favorite books of all time and I have always loved the idea of this book being made into an indie film and I really wished that it would happen someday.
4. Cinder: I really love this book and I would love to see it brought to life because it sound like it would be great visually and I would love to see a western made movie with an all Asian cast which would be require for this movie.
5. The Battle of the Labyrinth: This is my favorite book of the Percy Jackson series and I would love to see it brought to the big screen although I doubt that it will ever happen and even if it does it will probably suck but in a perfect world it would follow the books the actors would be good and the characters would have their book personalities.
6. Reading in the Dark:  This is one of my favorite books but not to many people seem to have read this book which means that it becoming a film isn't likely but it also means that if it's ever adapted for a film it will because the filmmakers loved the book not to make a quick buck which is the upside for not being well known. This story is one that has a lot of tension in it and there are many moments in the book where there are just moments where characters exchanges looks which communicate everything but a word is never spoken between them which means that the acting in this film would be amazing. I really just want this made into a film so I could see amazing acting because I love really good acting more than almost anything and I love that there would be so many scenes in this film that would require it so I would love to watch ever look that is exchange and see how much the actors could convey with just their eyes.
7. Wolves of Mercy Falls series: I love this series a lot and there are so many moments that I feel I need to be brought to life especially since there are some scenes that I can visualize so well. I would love to have this series brought to life because I feel that the acting in the films would fantastic because I feel that it would need to be because the characters have a lot of internal conflict which means that there needs to be good and subtle acting for that to come across, which make me very happy because I there are few things I love as much as great acting. But I also don't want this to be made into a movie because I feel like the movie would never be good enough to match the one in my head and no one would bother to care about the acting because they see the series as just a way to make money and it would taint the series for me so a big part of me also doesn't this series brought to life as well.
8. Heroes of Olympus series: I really love this series and I would love to see it brought to life and I would see what all the characters look like and all the monsters. I think that this movie series would require good young actors which is one of my favorite things so I would love to see that and I also think that all the action adventure stuff would draw in a large audience so it would be good for whatever studio made it as well. Also I would just love to be able to talk to my sisters who don't read about this series because I'm sure that they would love it and I would love to have someone to talk to it about but I'm almost 100 % sure this series will never be made into a movie series.
9. The Darkest Powers series: I just really love this series and I feel like it isn't well known enough so I feel like movies being made would give the series recognition that it deserves and it would be cool to see some of those powers in action.
10. The Looking Glass Wars: I think that this series would be great if made into movies because it's world is described very vividly and I would love to see that brought to life. I also love how well thought out the main characters are and I would love to have the chance to see how they look and see how they interact with each other. Also since the story covers many characters stories it does actually lends itself really well to film because films often show main characters storylines rather than being stuck in one characters point of view.

Top 10 Books that deal with tough stuff

1. Impulse: This book is one of my favorites of all time and is by Ellen Hopkins, it deals with three who have tried to kill themselves and it focuses on the reasons that they attempted suicide and their recover process. I really loved this book because of how different and interesting the characters are and I loved reading all of their stories.
2. Perfect: This is another book by Ellen Hopkins but this one deals with what it means to be perfect and what a person is willing to do in order to achieve perfection. The book deals with eating disorders, sexuality and steroid use as well. I really loved this book because of the beautiful writing and it had many interesting characters.
3. Tricks: This is yet another Ellen Hopkins book this one deals with teens selling themselves in order to get buy. This is a book that has pretty dark themes and I really love reading about how all these different people wound up having to do the same thing in order to survive. I loved this book as well.
3. Thirteen Reasons Why: This book deals with suicide both with why someone may decide to commit suicide and how the people left behind have to cope with the death and wonder if they could have done anything to save the person. This is a great book that made me really emotional.
4. The Fault in Our Stars: This is a book that deals with cancer and grieving, it's surprisingly a book that is super enjoyable to read it has a great sense of humor and an extremely cute relationship between Hazel and Augustus. I loved this book and it made me weep.
5. Identical: This an Ellen Hopkins book that deals with a very screwed up family and the way that it effects the daughter and she ends up coping with things in very messed up ways, I sadly can't say much about this book without spoiling it. I really loved this book but disturbed me quite often as well.
7. Tilt: This is the last Ellen Hopkins book on my list and it deals with quite a few issues such as grieving, pregnancy and how far someone is willing to go to please their partner. I'm currently reading this book and so far I'm really enjoying it but Shane is my favorite character by so far it's not even funny.
8. Fruits Basket: This is a series that most people assume is light and fluffy and while it certainly does have it's fair share of those moments there's also quite a bit of dark moments that usually have to do with parental abuse or neglect. For the most part the abuse is emotional and psychological but that doesn't mean that it damages the characters any less and there's also abuse that comes from other sources mostly Akito. Overall I love Fruits Basket completely and I just wanted to point out that series is a bit darker than people think it is.
9. Reading in the Dark: This is a book that deals with family secrets and how keeping these secrets and knowing these secrets can destroy your relationship with your family. This is a book I love and felt like it dealt with some tough issues although I'm not sure I explained them properly.
10. White Oleander: This book deals with the foster care system and all the different homes someone can find themselves in when in that system as well as dealing with a complicated mother-daughter relationship. I read this book years ago and I remember loving it but it's been so long since I read it I'm having a bit of a hard time remembering everything that happened in it.

Top 10 Books I thought I'd like more or less than I did

1. Anna and the French Kiss: I thought that I would love Anna and the French Kiss because everyone else loved it, I've never read a negative review on this book and it sound like a sweet romance novel. While I like the writing style of the book and it is a sweet romance overall I just couldn't force myself to love this book mostly because I didn't like St.Clair for two reasons. One St.Clair didn't feel like a real person half the time especially with how he was a French a American with a British accent which just doesn't seem like a realistic mix and it was obvious that he had this background in order to make girls swoon. The second reason I don't St.Clair is because he led his girlfriend Ellie on for months even though he knew for most of the novel that he'd rather be with Anna which is just plain cruel in my opinion.
2. Wings: I really wished I could love this book because I love the idea of fairies but I still haven't found a fairy series that I love yet. A big reason I couldn't love this book is because the characters just seemed a bit lifeless which is never a good thing.
3. The Hunger Games: I do like this book because it does of interesting plot and characters but I'm really sad that I didn't love this book as much as everyone else.

1. Catch-22: I really didn't think that I'd like this book at all since it's about war and I've hated every single war movie I've ever seen. I love this book because it's the funniest book I've ever read it has this sense of humor that is rather dark and it deals a lot with absurdities. I also have quite a bit of love for a lot of the characters as well.
2. Reading in the Dark: This is a book that I just started reading one day because I was bored and I honestly had no real expectations for it but in the end it turned out to be one of my favorite books of all time.
3. Fruits Basket: I remember when I first read what this series was about and I remember think that it sounded stupid but since it was one of the best selling mangas in the world I decided to give it a chance. In the end I discovered that Fruits Basket is my favorite series of all time and has brilliant character and relationship developments. So now I recommend everyone to read Fruits Basket even if they don't read manga because it would be a shame to miss this brilliant series.
4. Game of Thrones: I knew that I would like this book but I never thought that I would have been able to read it in only a month but some how I did which surprised me due to it's length.
5. Slaughter House Five: Another war book that surprised me, I don't like it as much as Catch-22 but I was still pleasantly surprised by this book.
6. The Giver: I always thought I wouldn't like this book because of the cover but after I had to read it for school I discovered I loved this book because I found the world and characters interesting.
7. Extras: Extras is the fourth and final book of the Uglies series and almost everyone says it's not as good as the first three, I would have to disagree with that statement since it is my favorite book of the series.

Top 10 Books I Read Before I was a Blogger

1. The Perks of Being a Wallflower: This is my favorite book of all time it's just written so beautifully because the main character Charlie who I love just has this beautiful way of thinking that is so different from anything else I've ever read. The story of this book of how Charlie an awkward freshmen gets through his year is both heartwarming and heartbreaking and I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
2. Impulse: This is the first book of Ellen Hopkins I've ever read and it's also my favorite, this book of course tells it story through poetry just like all her other books. Reading in the Dark: This is a book that I have read many times because it just grabbed me, it's about a young boy who grows up and learns more and more of his family's dark secrets which actually leads him to feeling more distant from his family as time goes on. I love this story of a messed up family and I just love seeing how being everyone's secret keeper begins to weigh on him and how knowing his mother's secret pretty much destroy any kind of positive relationship they could ever have.
5. The Glass Menagerie: This is another story of a screwed up family but it's in an entirely different way. The mother tends to be over dramatic and can be too pushy to her children, the son Tom wants to runaway from his family like his father did years ago and the daughter Laura can barely function at all when it comes to communicating to people do to extreme shyness. I love this play mostly because I've never related to a character more than I related to Laura Wingfield.
6. Percy Jackson and the Olympians series: This is my favorite book series of all time, it has great characters and I love the different relationships that developed between them. I also love that there's quite a bit of action in each book and that each book moves it's own plot and the overall plot of series along at the same time. I also love the great sense of humor that the series has.
7. The Looking Glass Wars: This is great series and a great way to retell the story of Alice in Wonderland. I love the characters and the world of Wonderland and I just love the series overall.

9. Uglies series: This was my first dystopian series and it's still one of my favorites it had a good plot and an interesting world. I also have always found the relationship between Tally and Shay to be fascinating.
10. Alice in Wonderland: I love this book because Alice is a great character with her odd thoughts and the world of wonderland is crazy in the best way possible. I also love the sense of humor the book has.

Top 7 Bookish memories

1. Reading Harry Potter: I remember when I was little that my dad use to read the Harry Potter books to me and my brother and I always really love them. Later on after the books became longer I started reading the series by myself and I still love the books.
2. Reading A Series of Unfortunate Events: This is another book series that I had read to me when I was little and it's also one that I have yet to finish so far I'm only part way through the tenth book but I do plan to finish series one day.
3. Reading the line "All she wanted was for things to nice and pretty the way they were in songs.": This line in Game of Thrones is the line that made me decide that Sansa will always be one of my favorite characters and it's the line that pretty much define her character for me and it's also a pretty tragic line considering what happens to her throughout the series.

Getting my first comment on this blog: My first comment on my blog was very exciting for me since I had to wait months to get it therefore it was extremely special for me it happened in August of 2011 and it was on a top 10 Tuesday list and it made me happy because it proved to me that someone actually reads my blog.
7. Reading The Glass Menagerie: The Glass Menagerie was a really important read for me because of how much I related to Laura Wingfield and since I almost never fully relate to characters I have a special love for her and the play in general.

Top 7 older Books I don't want people to forget about

1. The Glass Menagerie(1944):This play is about a dysfunctional family and ever member of the family have a distinct personality and all of the relationships are wonderfully complicated. I also love this play because I relate to the character Laura more than I do any other character pretty much ever. It seems to me that most people I haven't even heard of this wonderful play which makes me sad and it makes kind of perfect to include on this list since people generally have already forgotten about this play.

I love this book that deals with pilots during world war II yet it's actually funny rather than sad although there are a few sad moments which makes sense due to the subject matter.I also think this would be a good book to remember because the phrase catch-22 is quite popular so I think it would be nice if people read the book that made that phrase popular.
3. Brave New World(1932): I just think this book is a really interesting dystopian novel and I like that in the end the society couldn't be saved because no one wanted to be saved.
4. Reading in the Dark(1996): This book is beautifully written and tells the story of a family with many secrets and how the main character finds out all these secrets and how those secrets more or less keeps him from being close to his family any longer. I really loved this book and I wish more people would have read it.
5. Tokyo Babylon(1990-1993): This series is one were I love all three of the main characters and I find even the episodic stories to be really interesting but that may be because the stories always has a lot to do with society and human nature in general. I also love the extremely sad ending that still breaks my heart and reduces me to tears if I think about it too much. I think that this series is in danger of being forgotten because it's out of print at the moment therefore it's hard to find but it's totally worth looking for.
6. Through the Looking Glass(1871): This is the sequel to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and oddly enough despite many films taking elements from this book it seems that most people forget this book exists. This book is similar to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland so if you liked that book you'll like this book.
7. Magic Knight Rayearth(1993-1996): This is Clamp's first magical girl series and although I'd admit to saying that I love Cardcaptor Sakura more this series is also brilliant and I love how strong the emphasis on the friendship between the three girls. I also really liked that magic, sword fighting and mechas are all combined in this series. I love this series and I wish more people remembered it.

This book that chronicles the life of a young Irsh boy growing up and slowly learning his family's many dark secrets is one I read almost once a year for the past four or five years because the story is so well written and layered that I can't help but to read it again.

Top 7 Books for People who don't like to read

1. Percy Jackson and the Olympians series: This series is great plot and character wise. Also Percy an excellent narrator which makes the book a much more enjoyable read since this book can be read quickly.
2. Harry Potter series: This is a series that pretty much everyone enjoys and if you liked the movies then you'll love the books.
3. A Series of Unfortunate Events: This is a very entertaining series with an interesting narrator and it's smart without being dense.
4.Perks of Being a Wallflower: I love this book and I feel that everyone should read it and it's an easy read.
5. Catch 22:This book is pretty dense compared to the other books on the list but I don't think it's too complicated just a bit wordy and it's the funniest book I ever read but it's a darker sense of humor.
6. The Book Thief: This book is great and it's not a hard read.
7. Reading in the Dark: I love this book and I've made it my mission to get as many people as I can to read it.

Top 10 Books that would be good for a Book Club

I never actually been in a book club so I'm not exactly sure how they work.

1.White Oleander: I love this book I think it's a good coming of age novel due to all the messed up aspects of Astrid's up bringing and I've always wanted to talk to someone about this brilliant book but I don't know anyone who read it. I think it would be a good book club book because in the back of the copy I read there were question to ask at book clubs.
2. Reading in the Dark: I've already mention how much I loved this book several times on this list but I also think it would be a good book for a book club because one could discuss how secrets can destroy someones lives or hold it together depending on who knows them. Then it could also be discussed who knows what and for how long have they know this secret. Then of course it could be discussed if it's better for everyone if no one every learns the truth.
3.The Book Thief: I'm sure this is or was a popular book club book and I feel there's a lot to discuss and I love this book.
4. Uglies Series: This is one of my favorite book series and I feel that there could be many discussion about how much our society values physical beauty and if the events of this series seems possible.
5. Impulse/Perfect: I love both of this book and since Perfect is a companion novel to Impulse I think it makes sense that they should be talked about together. Both of this books deal with the different pressures that teens feel their under and the either the need to live up to impossible standards or how someone feels when they feel there's nothing left in life that makes getting up in the morning seem worth it. I also love the way it's written with multiple narrators and in verse.
6.Fruits Basket: This series is my favorite and has some of the best developed characters so I would love to psychoanalyse each and everyone of them.
7.1984: I loved this book and I feel that there is a lot to be discussed with all the censorship, brainwashing and psychological torture Big Brother practices in order to stay in control.
8. Perks of Being a Wallflower: I love this book and I feel that there is a lot of topics that can be discussed with this book and I feel that the world would be a better place if more people thought the way that Charlie does.
9. Identical: This book has extremely well developed characters and deals with a number of interesting topics which would all lead to interesting discussions.
10. Percy Jackson and the Olympians series: I love this series and I'm sure that I could find a lot to talk about with people who have actually read the books.

Top 5 Books I'd Give as Gifts

1. Fruits Basket:I would love to give this series as a gift because it's my favorite series of anything and I wish more people would read even though it's a manga series.
2. Perks of Being a Wallflower: Is my favorite book and I love the way that Charlie thinks and I wish more people were like him.
3.The Book Theif: Is an incredible book and I think most people would enjoy it.
4.The Percy Jackson and the Olypmians series: It's one of my favorite series and I think most people would end up enjoying the series and I wish I knew someone in real life that has read these books.
5.Reading in the Dark: I love this book and I would give it as a gift because I want to talk to someone about this book.

Top 8 Books outside of my comfort zone

1.Catch 22: I dislike war movies so I figure I would dislike this book but I'm happy to report that I was wrong and I loved this book I found it extremely funny and the characters were interesting.
2.Reading in the Dark: I don't usually read historical fiction and this was surely historical fiction and I loved the story of this dsyfunctional family.
3.The Glass Castle: I don't usally read non-fiction but I kind of loved this book.
4.Vampire Knight: This book was the first manga I've ever read and I loved and I now own over 100 volumes of manga but I've stopped reading Vampire Knight because I only care about one plotline.
5.Impulse: I'm not really a fan of poetry but I loved this book and I also love Identical which is written by the same author.
6.Slaughter House Five: Another war book I enjoyed it but not as much as Catch 22.
7.Heart of Darkness: I'm not interested in the topic of this book and I hated how it ended up being more about the setting then the plot or characters.
8.Brave New World:I don't usually read books that involve a lot of sex but I loved this book probably because it didn't really describe the act and it was dsystopian.

Top 8 books I'd like to read for the first time again.

1. The Book Thief: I loved this book and I would love to read it again for the fist time because the end made me cry so much.
2. Perks of Being a Wallflower: I love this book and I would love to discover all of Charlie’s thoughts again.
3. The Percy Jackson and the Olympians series: I loved the whole series and I would love to discover more about these characters again.
4. The Lying Game: It’s one of those books that are best to read when you have no idea what’s going on.
5. Reading in the Dark: It’s one of those books in which the mystery makes you want to read more.
6. Fruits Basket: Technically a manga but it has a binding so I’m counting it for this list. I love this whole series and I would love to read it for the first time again and without any spoilers but I also love rereading the series.
7. Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle: This is also manga. I would love to reread this without spoilers because then I wouldn’t have to feel a sense of dread every time I get close to the acid Tokyo arc.
8. Tokyo Babylon: Also a manga. I would love to reread this without spoilers because then I wouldn’t have to feel guilty about shipping Seishiro and Subaru.

Top 10 books I loved but never wrote a review for

I'm relatively new to blogging so the reason I haven't reviewed these books is because I only started blogging recently.
1. Perks of Being a Wallflower: This is my favorite book and I think it’s my favorite because of how sweet the main character Charlie is and I love the way he thinks and sees the world. There’s not a whole lot that happens plot wise in this book but it does a really good job making you care about the characters.

2. The Book Thief: This is another book I love the story is good and enjoy almost all the characters. The last few chapters I cried so hard and I was on the bus, also I love Death as a narrator.

3. Impulse: I love this book and all three of the main characters and I love that we get to here the story from all three of their’s point of view and I end up I understanding why each of the characters tried to kill themselves.

4. The Percy Jackson and the Olympians series: I love this series and I love all the characters and I love all the quests they go on and I love that series was clearly heading to a big climax but the series didn’t end they way I expected it to. I also love Percy as a narrator in he may be my favorite narrator him or Charlie from Perks of Being a Wallflower.

5. Uglies series: I really like this series it was my first dystopia book and I found the society that they live in to be really interesting

6.Alice in Wonderland: I really love this book for being kind of crazy and not really making a whole lot of sense and I really like the character of Alice.

7. The Looking Glass Wars: I love this take on Alice in Wonderland because it’s so different then any other take I’ve seen and I love the relationship between Alyss and Dodge.

8. Glass Menagerie: I love this play because of the character of Laura because I can relate to the way she feels and I like stories about screwed up families.

9. Catch 22: I like this book because I like the sense of humor that it has and for some reason I love the character Major Major Major.

10. Reading in the Dark: I love this book so much and I read almost every time I go to my grandparents house(she’s the one that owns the book) and I love the story and it’s really hard for me to put down once I start reading it.

Top 10 Under rated books

1. Reading In the Dark by Seamus Deane: Is a book I love and I’ve read it about three or four times but I’ve never read or heard anything about this book. I like the story because it starts when the main character is like three or something and goes into his adulthood and he ends up learning all of his family’s secrets over the years.

2. White Oleander by Janet Fitch: The book isn’t so much under rated as a whole but not really talked about much anymore and it’s so much better then the movie that was made simply because it’s longer.

3.The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams: While it’s technically a play but I’ve never seen it performed so I’m counting it as book and it’s not exactly under rated but I don’t hear about it much and Laura is on of my all time favorite characters.

4.The Looking Glass Wars series by Frank Beddor: I rarely hear or read about this series despite it being a twist on Alice In Wonderland and a good when at that but it’s not popular as other takes on the story although it’s better then quite a few and it’s YA fantasy but it’s not really all that popular which also surprises me since it seems like a series that would be popular but isn’t.

5.Extras by Scott Westerfeld: This book is the last book in the Uglies series and is by far the least popular and I can’t understand why since it’s my favorite but that may be because I like Aya a lot more then I liked Tally.

6. Impulse by Ellen Hopkins: Is one of my favorite books but I don’t see it talk about very often but it’s still pretty popular.

7. Identical by Ellen Hopkins: Is another book I like a lot but not as much as Impulse and it’s also not as popular but neither really seem top be all that popular but the people who’ve read them seem to enjoy them.

8.The Darkest Powers series by Kelly Armstrong: Is sort of popular but not enough that anyone wants it be made into a movie or anything although with main character Chloe describing scenes like she was directing a movie makes me wonder why there aren’t any rumors about movie being made.

9.Gallagher Girls series by Ally Carter: Is a book series I really enjoy but I don’t see it talked about a lot and since I really enjoy the series I’m putting it on the list.

10. Secret Circle series by L.J. Smith: This series is fairly popular since it’s being made into a TV series but it’s not as popular as I expected it to be since it’s pretty rare that I see anything about the book series being written it’s not as popular as I think it should be.
