• I really enjoyed the first scene with Damon in 1977 New York because he was very much like his season 1 self which is my favorite version of Damon to watch.
• I liked how Damon explained that death is a lot less noticeable in big cities such as New York since there are so many people who live there.
• I like Elena's new hair especially the streak of red I think it's really pretty.
• I find it interesting that the vampire Damon knew named Will provides fake ids to vampires and that he supplied Katherine with ids.
• I liked how it was made clear that Bonnie knew she was working for Silas and thought that he may have been manipulating her at times as well.
• I loved how Rebekah showed up in New York and revealed all of Damon's cure hunting plans that he was keeping from Elena.
• I like how Elena is pretty much just manipulating Damon in this episode in order to find out what he's up and to make sure she gets the cure first because she doesn't want to take it.
• I liked how Bonnie had doubts about killing witches even though she was pretty far gone due to Silas's manipulations.
• I didn't really like the Lexi flashbacks because it just didn't feel like her and I'm pretty sure that in her first episode she appeared in she said something that implied that she never slept with Damon and never would so I'm pretty much ignoring them. Also I don't believe for a second that Damon killed Lexi out of guilt. The only part of these flashbacks I really liked were that Stefan sent Lexi because he was worried about Damon.
• I like how Elena sees having no emotion as being able to see things more clearly and be able to plan more logical.
• I found the way that witches were planning on cleansing the expression magic from her to look very painful and I thought it was sad that as soon as they heard she was involved with Silas that they planned to kill her.
• I'm glad that if Caroline was going to kill a bunch of people it was in order to save Bonnie her best friends life because that's in character for her to sacrifice her morals in order save a friend. Although I find it a bit weird that Caroline and Bonnie didn't talk all episode despite what Caroline did for her this episode.
• I like that Elena and Rebekah working together is because Elena doesn't want to take the cure and Rebekah wants the cure so they're going to work together to prevent everyone else from doing what they want with it. I also like that they both ditched Damon.
• I'm sad that Bonnie forgot about all the things after Jeremy's death because I feel that takes away the importance of her plot from the last few episodes.
• I think it's weird that Caroline was talking to Klaus about killing 12 people rather than Stefan or someone else that she actually likes.
• I liked how the phone call between Damon and Stefan at the end of the episode was basically the two of them telling each other how they failed.
• I liked seeing Silas kick Klaus's ass.

• I really hated any scene between Damon and Elena this episode because I find their relationship to be very creepy, gross, disgusting and I just can't stand to watch the two of them interact now with this whole sire bond thing it's just really hard for me to watch.
• I'm glad that Damon didn't know about the sire bond thing with Elena before this episode and that this is the sort of thing that creeps even him out which is saying a lot.
• I continue to love Caroline telling Elena that Damon is bad for her and that she doesn't think Elena should be with him because Caroline has been treated awfully by Damon in the past and because of that treatment Caroline feels she needs to protect Elena from him.
• The thing with Charlotte's utter devotion and literally doing anything Damon told her even if it was something that was clearly a joke showed how sick and completely unromantic a sire bond is and I also like that it's something that actually seems to frighten Damon a bit because it just seems to get worse over time and there's really not anything anyone can do about it.
• I also liked how clearly freaked out both Stefan and Damon were that Charlotte was still doing what Damon told her to do more or less seventy years after he left her because I find this whole sire bond to be the creepiest thing this show has ever done.
• I really loved seeing Lexi again and I loved seeing her helping out Stefan and telling Damon what he needed to do what is best for Stefan.
• I loved how Stefan and Damon seemed to make up with each other in the forties right away and I loved that they both wanted to spend more time together. I loved that Damon said he just needed his little brother because I've always suspected this was true but it's really nice to be proven right. I really loved all the stuff with Damon and Stefan's relationship in the past and I really wished that this show was about Damon and Stefan's screwed up sibling relationship instead of a boring love triangle.
• I liked that Bonnie was happy and excited about preforming magic again but I'm sad that it's probably part of an evil scheme for Professor Shane and that it's darker than dark magic.
• I liked that although Bonnie was alot less vocal than Caroline it was clear that she also doesn't want her best friend in a relationship with Damon because Damon has really hurt her in the past as well.
• I really disliked how it seems like the show is saying that Elena has the moral high ground in her argument with Caroline about how she wants her friends to be happy about her being in a relationship with Damon even though it may be because of a sire bond and Damon has done awful things to her best friends in the past.
• I'm glad that Hayley seemed to only be working for Professor Shane in order to gain information about her birth parents but I suspect that what ever Professor Shane is going to do with the hybrids is really bad.
• I'm glad that Damon tried to make Charlotte let him go but I'm not sure about how effective it actually was for her.
• I really loved every scene between Caroline and Stefan and I love that the show is letting these two have scenes together again because I just love their friendship.
• I really hate that the show seems like it's trying to say that the sire bond between Damon and Elena is romantic even though pretty much the whole episode was about how creepy and awful sire bonds are.

TV Review: Vampire Diaries: The Five(4.04)

• I liked that Stefan and Damon had a scene at the beginning of this episode going over what they know about that happened in the last episode because I just always love those kind of things. I didn't like that once again that Stefan had to find out that Elena was going to Damon for from Damon because I think that Elena should communicate better with Stefan.
• I liked how Rebekah tried to buy Matt's forgiveness with a car but I'm kind of sad that it didn't work.
• I liked how Stefan and Klaus are working together because they have to and because I find their relationship interesting.
• I kind of hated that the girl Damon picked for Elena to feed off of and the way he described her reminded me of season 1 Caroline. I'm glad that Elena didn't end up feeding off of her.
• I like how Rebekah and April actually had seemed to become friends.
• I liked how Stefan convinced Rebekah to go over to Klaus's and at least pretended to try to make a truce.
• I liked the flashbacks that showed when Klaus, Rebekah and Elijah met The Five a group of vampire hunters that apparently have a cure for vampirism.
• I really enjoyed the awkward dinner scene between Rebekah, Stefan and Klaus because it was entertaining and interesting because these three haven't really had scenes together since The Reckoning.
• I liked how Jeremy's artistic ability was mentioned and used in this episode along with his ability to see the tattoos, I like it when the show remembers character traits that aren't often used.
• I liked that the first guy Elena feed from someone who roofed a girl's drink and I'm glad she got him to leave the party before he caused anymore damage.
• I'm interested and suspicious about Professor Shane especially since it's revealed that he sent Connor to Mystic Falls.
• I liked that Elena realized that she'd rather be with Stefan learning how to be a vampire than with Damon.
• I'm extremely sad that Rebekah was daggered in this episode but I loved the speech she gave Klaus before he daggered her.
• I don't like that Stefan has to keep his plans with Klaus secret but I understand why he does.
• I missed Caroline a lot in this episode.

Fantastic Five Friday: Top 5 Flashback Episodes

Fantastic Friday is a weekly meme that's hosted by The Weekly Enthusiast

1. Angel: Darla(2.07): This episode gives the backstory of Darla's character with how she became a vampire and more about her relationship with Angelous. I also loved the story set in the present with Darla having to come to terms with having a soul again and there quite a few nice parallels with how she dealt with feeling the wait of her soul and how Angel dealt with it. I overall love this episode and I think it's brilliant I  love that it moves the plot forward while still providing a lot of backstory.

2. Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Fool for Love(5.07): This episode gives Spike's backstory of how he went from a lousy poet to a badass vampire who has killed two slayers. I really loved seeing how Spike evolved and love the relationship he shares with Drusilla it's both sweet and creepy especially the moment when the two of them had sex next to the corpse of the first slayer he killed. I loved the conversation between Spike and Angelous were it's made clear that Spike just likes a good fight and Angelous sees the murders he commits as a work of art, I just really like how the shows have always made a clear distinction between the two characters styles. I also loved that Spike told Buffy one of the things no one else would be willing to tell her about being a slayer which is that all slayers are more or less death seekers.

3. Vampire Diaries: Children of the Damned(1.13): I loved this episode which explained what was going on with all the vampires in 1864 and I like that it showed that there were so many vampires that were around that were sent to burn in the church. I also liked seeing the weird relationship that Stefan/Katherine/Damon seemed to share during that time period with how Damon and Stefan are both sleeping with Katherine and they both know about it and they don't seem to be fighting at all. I also loved that this episode showed how much Damon loves Katherine and I of course just loved seeing Katherine.

4. Dollhouse: Epitaph One(1.13): I love this episode which is a flashback flashforward with how this episode is set 10 years in the future for the main characters but there's flashbacks in this episode which tells the story of how civilization fell apart with the Dollhouse technology being released.

5. White Collar: Forging Bonds(2.11): I liked that in this episode we got to see what Neal's life was like before he got arrested as well as knowing how he met Kate and Mozzie.

Fangirl Friday 7

Fangirl five Friday is a weekly meme host Nancy Drew is my Homegirl and what it's meme that has you list the top five things you've been fangirling about this week.

1. Game of Thrones: I finished watching the first season of Game of Thrones and I find this show to be one of the best on television, I love this show. I find the world to be very interesting as well as visually pleasing. I love all the medieval political drama because medieval political drama is also interesting but it's really interesting here because it involves incest and an upcoming civil war. I also loved the storyline with Daenerys storyline about how she transformed over the season from a fragile frighten girl into a fierce and powerful queen or rather Khaleesi. I love this show with it's setting, plots and characters and I'm very excited to start watching season 2. My favorite characters so far are Daenerys and Sansa.

2. Revenge: I loved this week's episode because it's really different that than it usually is but it was still great, this week the episode was almost entirely a flashback to 2002. I loved seeing what everyone was like back than and I especially loved seeing how different Emily was back then and why she decided she needed to in act her revenge on everyone.

3. Vampire Diaries: The season 3 finale aired this week and while I predicted most of the major plot points when I was watching last week's episode I still found it be a really enjoyable episode but not as good as the last two episodes. Although I was really happy to see Elijah again and it was nice to see Jenna via flashbacks, I also found some reasons to continue to ship Damon and Rebekah so that's good and I'm glad Elena choose Stefan. The thing I'm most looking forward to next season is finding out what Bonnie did to Klaus because I don't really understand it and I hope Rebekah becomes a main character next season.

4. Secret Circle: I watched episode 20 this week and I loved it so much, it's one of my favorites of the season. I liked seeing the fallout from the discovery that Diana is also Blackwell's daughter and the new relationship she and Cassie started to form. I also found most of the Adam and Melissa scenes to be very funny. I loved most of Faye's lines in this episode there were just so many good ones. I also liked that it was confirmed that Blackwell is indeed a villain. I also loved the twist at the end which involved either Nick being back from the dead or a ghost.

5. Flashback episodes: I have always loved flashback episodes but I thought I'd mention it this week because both Revenge and Vampire Diaries had them this week. I love flashback episodes because it gives us back story to the characters and if it involves immortal creatures there's also a chance to see lovely corsets.

TV Review: Revenge: Legacy(1.20)

• This episode focuses on Emily's life before she changed her name and while she's discovering the truth about her father.
• I really liked seeing Emily being more reckless and emotional in this episode because it's so different than how she usually is.
• I really liked at the beginning of the episode were Nolan found Emily and basically forced her to have dinner with him and tell her to read her father's journals.
• I enjoyed seeing Emily piece together everything she learned from her father's journal's with what she remembers from her childhood.
• I liked that Roger had actually been forced to turn on David and that he still felt guilt about all those years later.
• I liked that the whole idea of the Grayson's party was to find out who sent the letter that threaten to expose them.
• I agreed with Conrad that it seems odd that Victoria would hold on to loving David Clarke so long after she destroyed his life.
• I was surprised to learn that Lydia's and Conrad's affair went on for so many years.
• I liked the awkward first meet between Nolan and Jack.
• I loved that when Nolan realized that the houses he was buying were forcing families to move elsewhere that he offered Mr.Porter to give him his house back. I also liked that this showed that the Porter family has had money problems for awhile.
• I thought that Jack's girlfriend was very odd in her last scene but she's not really important so I guess it doesn't matter.
• I find it very interesting and sad that Emily found that Roger had been killed by the Grayson's right after he promised to help her and I liked how upset she was about this and how it made her decide that she had to get her revenge.
• I loved this episode and it's one of my favorites of the season.

TV Review: Vampire Diaries: The Departed(3.22)

• I enjoyed the flashbacks back to when Elena's parents were still alive and I especially loved seeing Jenna again.
• I was really glad that Jeremy took Elena to a hospital at the beginning of the episode because it was really bothering me that no one took her at the end of the last one.
• I was surprised to see and delighted to see Elijah again. I also liked that he came up with a great plan that would ensure that everyone would live.
• I was worried about Caroline and Tyler having to leave town but I'm glad that their mothers gave them the heads up. I'm not really sure if they still need to get out of town by the end of the episode.
• I loved that Stefan and Elena kissed in this episode and that when Elena had to make a choice she choose Stefan just like I knew she would.
• I felt really bad for Rebekah when she saw Klaus get staked, also really nice acting on Claire Holt's part.
• I really liked that Damon made sure  that Rebekah got out of the warehouse before Evil Alaric could stake her because I ship those two and he really didn't have any reason to.
• I was sad when Tyler started to die but honestly the reason that I started crying was because Caroline was crying.
• I loved that when Stefan pointed out to Damon that he wouldn't get back in time to say goodbye that Damon thought he meant for them to say goodbye to each other not Elena.
• I liked that Matt and Jeremy tried to get Elena out of time even though it didn't work.
• I loved the moment when Rebekah and Elijah hugged while they both mourned Klaus.
• I'm glad that Evil Alaric died and that when his ghost said goodbye Jeremy that he was normal Alaric again.
• I was not surprised at all that Elena became a vampire because last episode made it kind of obvious but in all honesty I wouldn't have minded if she died permanently.
• I'm really curious about what Bonnie did to ensure that when Klaus's body died he wouldn't die with it because they didn't really explain the how but they did explain the how.

TV Review: Vampire Diaries: 1912(3.16)

• I liked how the 1912 flashbacks related to the modern day council member killings and I also liked that it wasn't in the predictable way that I thought it was going to be portrayed when I saw the promo.
• I liked seeing Stefan and Damon in flashbacks meet for the first time in nearly fifty years and I found it interesting that though Damon didn't want to be around Stefan he didn't want to make his life miserable either. I also found it interesting that though Stefan was similar to how he was at the start of the series but Damon was still closer to the 1864 version of himself with how he finds no joy in being a vampire and is still pretty formal.
• I loved that when Sage told Damon that women are also for pleasure that Damon told her he was spoken for, I loved this because this implies that Damon didn't have sex for 48 years because he was saving himself for Katherine. This is one of the sweetest things I've ever heard and it proves to me that I am right to have Damon and Katherine as my one true pairing.
• I'm glad that Sage was able to teach Damon that he could find pleasure in his vampire life because I feel at that point he really needed to.
• I loved how after Stefan and Damon add a drink together that Stefan tried to convince Damon to drink animal instead of human and how later on in the episode once Damon has found that life is still worth living that he convinces Stefan to drink human blood again, I love this two scenes because it shows how after they both found a better way to live that they both tried to convince the other to one to join them in order to share that life together.
• I was very creeped out when Stefan was draining that woman of her blood in 1912 and how he snapped her head off and I felt so bad for him as soon as he noticed this because he started saying he was sorry over again as he tried to put her back together again(I was really impressed by Paul Wesley's acting in this scene as well). I also liked that this scene gave a reason of why Stefan would hate Damon because have something that happened in  the past. I also liked that Damon wasn't actually trying to hurt Stefan but he just hadn't realized how bad Stefan's bloodlust was yet and I loved that he offered to help Stefan but I totally understand why Stefan rejected his offer.
• I'm not really sure how I feel about Sage yet but she seems interesting so I look forward to meeting her in modern day.
• I liked that Damon thought it was insane for the sheriff Forbes to imprison Alaric and I liked that this led him into recounting the other time when council members were being murdered.
• I loved Damon and Stefan spending pretty much the whole episode together. I also loved that through out the episode Stefan was struggling with his quiting human blood and Damon was trying to convince him to instead try moderation which would prevent Stefan from becoming a ripper again.
• I liked that Damon mocked Stefan's diary again and I loved when Damon and Rebekah read mockingly from it later on.
• I liked that Damon described Finn as the creepy suicidal guy and I found it interesting that Finn had a past with Sage.
• I liked that Rebekah after finding out that the Salvtores were the ones who might know about the white ash tree, she decides to spend the day with them while searching for information that they don't really end up giving her. I really liked the dynamic between the three of them.
• I liked that Damon and Rebekah flirted a whole bunch in this episode and I now ship the two of them.
• I liked that Damon compelled a girl then bit her and then told Stefan that if he didn't drink from her Rebekah would kill the girl and while that might seem a little cruel I think it was good for Stefan to drink from the girl because he needs to be able to control his bloodlust and moderation is the way to do that. Also the girl didn't die so I think the experiment was a success which Damon agrees with.
• I loved that Damon tells Stefan that he's going to be there for Stefan every step of the way with helping him overcome his bloodlust and I love that he admits Stefan's the only one he's got because that has pretty much been true for the two of them since the beginning of the series. I also liked that Damon admits he feels guilty for not helping Stefan when he could have in the past.
• I liked that after Damon admits to care about Stefan that Stefan decides to be helpful in the investigating the 1912 council member murders and I liked that it was discovered that Samantha Gilbert confessed to the crimes a decade later and that she went crazy.
• I liked that Elena and Matt worked together to clear Alaric's name and I liked seeing more of Matt in this episode in general. I also ship Matt and Elena even more.
• I liked that Matt was able to sneak the journal because he's the only normal one in town so no one pays attention to him which is also kind of sad.
• I liked that Damon completely mocked Elena's attempts to making him feel guilty about turning Abby into a vampire because I don't think he has any reason to feel guilty because it's not like he knew or cared about Abby and no one died premantly. I'm also glad that Elena wasn't able to suck the personality out of Damon this episode.
• I'm kind of disappointed that we don't get to see Bonnie and her mom dealing with her becoming a vampire.
• I hated that Elena walked down the ally after Stefan had feed on the girl and then looked at him all judgemental and shocked. I hated Elena in that moment because I feel she has no right to judge because A) their vampires and they drink blood and no one died so get over it and B) she has no idea what's really going on so she shouldn't judge. I loved that Damon told her to leave and not make a big deal about it.
• I liked that Matt asked Elena about her relationship with the Salvtores because it must really confuse him. I interpreted Elena saying that she felt like Stefan could give her eternal love and that Damon is like an annoying rash that won't go away, I don't get why anyone still ships Damon and Elena.
• I liked that Elena mentions that crazy seems to run in her family, I also hope that this means Elena will go crazy one day because that would make her character actually interesting.
• I liked that after Alaric is released from jail that he and Elena agrees to look out for each other.
• I liked that Meredith was actually trying to protect Alaric by having him arrested and I liked that she isn't actually a psycho murder.
• I found it really surprising and interesting that Alaric is a killer because his ring is either driving him crazy or Samantha Gilbert is possessing him because he cheated death so many times.
• This may have been my favorite episode of the season so far.

TV Review: Vampire Diaries:Ordinary People(3.08)

·         I enjoyed learning about the originals and how they came to be. It was interesting to learn that the original witch was part of the original family but she didn’t turn because one can’t be a vampire and a witch at the same time.

·         I really enjoyed seeing the relationship between Rebecca and Klaus, also I kind of love human Klaus and this episode helped me understand his character more.

·         I loved seeing Elijah again and I hope we see him in present day again soon and I liked the scene were Klaus, Rebecca and Elijah joined together.

·         I loved Rebecca in this episode and I felt like this episode gave her a lot more depth.

·         I loved that Damon and Stefan were together for basically the whole episode because before this episode I was really disappointed with the lack of scenes between those two. Also for  some reason their scenes kind of reminded me of History Repeating.

·         I find Michal to be really creepy and I’m not sure they made the right choice in waking him up. But I loved that he was able to make Stefan show some emotion.

·         I loved the scene were Damon and Stefan tell each other their humanity is showing and I loved that Damon seemed to be more upset by this then Stefan.

·         I also loved that at the end of the episode Elena told Damon that Stefan loves him more then he loves her. I really hope that by the end of the series it’s proven that Damon and Stefan love each other more then anyone else.

·         I was disappointed that Caroline and Jeremy weren’t in this episode.

• I loved that Katherine called Damon at the beginning and end of the episode but I pretty much love any scene with those two. I wasn’t surprised by Katherine following Stefan but I’m not really happy about it either.
• I liked the Elena and Damon scenes because they reminded me of their friendship back in season 1 were there wasn’t a lot of sexual tension.
• I found it extremely creepy that the reason that Caroline’s Dad was torturing her was because he loved her but didn’t want to kill her. I felt so bad for all the emotional and physical torture her Dad put her through.
• I loved the 1920s flashbacks. I actually by the relationship between Stefan and Klaus back then. I also really liked Rebecca and her relationship with Stefan.
• I liked the idea of Gloria using magic to slow down her aging.
• I liked that Damon tried to take Stefan’s place but I knew that was never going to work.
• I liked Tyler and Liz going and saving Caroline. I also loved the scene towards the end of the episode were Caroline drank blood in front of her mom and she just accepted her and comforted her. I also liked that Tyler stayed to comfort Caroline.
• I’m curious as to who is chasing after Klaus in the 20s and why he was afraid of them.
• I loved in the flashback Stefan was delightfully evil and compelled a to drink his wife’s blood it was fabulously evil.
• I’m glad Rebecca came back at the end and I’m glad that she was mad at Klaus and I wonder what kind of relationship her and Stefan will have now that he remembers and she’s alive again.
• This episode has been my favorite of this season.
