1. Fruits Basket: This series is my favorite series ever and I have already reread the series at least five times and I find that my love for the series only increases with each time I reread it and I can't see that changing ever. This series is a really good one to reread because it becomes clear that the author knew where she wanted to take the characters and series from the beginning so you notice new bits of foreshadowing when you reread the series. The series is one where I just love seeing the characters and relationship develop over time and I find myself just as invested in them on rereads as I was the first time I read it.
2. Reading in the Dark: This is a book I always feel compelled to reread and I think that the reason behind this is the fact that I think so much of the story is about what isn't being said rather than what is said so it takes rereading it to truly appreciate what the book is about.
3. Percy Jackson and the Olympians: I feel like this series would be good to reread because the books are so much fun and I love the characters and world that the series is set in so much that I find myself wanting to revisit this series.
4. Wolves of Mercy Falls series: This series is one that I think would be good to reread because I really enjoy the characters and I really would like to see if I see them a bit differently on my second read of the series. I also feel like Linger and Sinner would be the two best books to reread because I feel like those books are the ones that did the best at digging into who the characters are.
5. It's Kind of a Funny Story: I think this book would be good to reread because I really loved it when I first read it and I've been wanting to reread it sometime in the future.
6. Cardcaptor Sakura: This series is one that I loved rereading because it is one that just makes me happy each time I revisit it because it such a sweet and optimistic series as a whole.
7. Hex Hall series: This series is one that I remember being a really fun read so I would like to reread because I felt like I went through this series fairly fast the first time I read through it because I just had to know what happened next, so I think I reread would help me appreciate the series more.
8. Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle: This series is a long one and one that had a lot of twist and turns in it's second half so I think that a reread for this series is something that is necessary for this series.
9. All the Bright Places: This is a book that I really loved and I find myself wanting to reread even though I just read it a few months ago.
10. Dare Me: This book was a great read and I really loved the writing style that this book had because you got real sense of personality from it and I think it would be a good one to reread.

Top 10 Books I Read in 2017
1. All the Bright Places: This book is one that I thought had a really good writing style and I found myself completely invested in the lives of the two main characters which led me to feel like I just had to know what happens next. I also thought that this book did a good job of dealing with the issues of grief and mental illness without feeling too dark. Overall I just found that this book did a good job of gripping me through out it's story.
2. Cress: This book is the third book of The Lunar Chronicles series and I liked that this book continued the story for all the main characters that we met in previous books but also introduced us to Cress and gave Thorne a lot more focused and development. I liked that there was quite a bit going on in this book but still plenty of time for character and relationship development as well. One of my favorite things about this book was the relationship between Cress and Thorne which is probably my favorite relationship in the series and I really loved seeing their bond develop in this book.
3. Winter: This is the final book in the series and while I did love how so much happened in this book and so many characters stories were covered in this book there were times when I was a little overwhelmed by everything that was happening in this book since this book was by far the most eventful book of this already extremely eventful series. I really love the characters of Winter and I really liked that through her we saw the way the Lunars lived very different because she comes from a very different way of life than all the other characters. I also liked that Cinder and Kai are finally able to share scenes together again in this book since they really haven't been able to since the first book so that was something I really loved about this book.
4. Blue Lilly, Lilly Blue: I really just love the world and the characters that this series has in it so any time that I get to spend in the world and with the characters is something I enjoy reading about. I really like the way that Blue and Gansey's relationship is developing because you can tell how much they are growing to like each other but are still trying not to act on those feelings.
5. Highly Illogical Behavior: I really loved the writing style for this book that made this book a really quick read for me and I like that the plot dealt with a boy that doesn't leave his house because of social anxiety and a girl who wants to cure him so that she could get a scholarship for a good psychology program and I like that there wasn't a love story between them as well.
6. House of Hades: This book is the fourth book in the Heroes of Olympus series and I found this book to be a lot of fun and I feel like we learned new things about the characters and that we got to see new relationships develop and old ones strength in this book.
7. School Spirits: This book is a companion novel to the Hex Hall series and I like that this book deals with a girl who hunts supernatural beings rather than be one because it gives a new perspective to this world and I thought that the characters and writing in this book were good as well.
8. Rumble: This is the book that I'm currently reading and so far it's a really good read, it has Ellen Hopkins fantastic writing and it is dealing with a boy coming to terms with his brother's suicide and has quite a bit to say on religion as well.
9. United We Spy: This book is the final book in the Gallagher Girls series and I thought it was a fitting end of the series in that it dealt with an important spy mission but also Cammie not knowing what she wants to do with her life after graduating, I liked how the series ended with both the spy stuff and the relatable teen stuff because these two things coming together is what made the series what it was.
10. All Fall Down: This book is the first book in the Embassy Row series and I think that this book was a good introduction to the world and characters that this series will focus on and I think that this book did a good job telling it's story but also leaving room open for the next book in the series.

Book Review: All The Bright Places
All The Bright Places Review
All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven is a novel about a boy and a girl who meet while thinking about jumping off a bell tower and form a bond because of this encounter. The boy, Theodore Finch claims that he wasn't up there because he want to kill himself but because he wanted to stay alive and awake especially since he has been asleep in the metaphorical way for the past few months. Finch is someone who has been called a freak by most of the school because he is different with how he behaves strangely with how he likes to radically change who he is in order to find out who he really is and because of his mental illness which makes the way he experiences life very different from the majority of his classmates. The girl's name is Violet Markey who is a popular girl who is still suffering from survivor's guilt over the death of her sister who was also her best friend and she did mean to kill herself but changed her mind at the last second. Ever since her sister's death Violet hasn't really allowed herself to live her life with how she doesn't go out anymore, doesn't write anymore although it used to be her passion and she can't ride or drive a car anymore.
The thing that brings Finch and Violet even closer together is a school project where they have to wander around places in their home state of Indiana which Finch decides to put a whole lot more effort and enthusiasm than is required but this ends up inspiring some enthusiasm in Violet as well. Through Finch, Violet is pushed to go out into the world and start to live her life again and with Violet, Finch finds someone who makes him believe that it is possible for him to remain awake all of the time. Finch and Violet end up falling for each other and become an unlikely couple and while they do make each other happier it doesn't solve all of their problems which come back in the later half of the novel.
Overall I loved this book it had a beautiful story that did end sadly, the characters were really great and I found myself so completely invested in their stories, the relationship with Finch and Violet was great. The writing of this novel was great the voice that she gave the two main characters were so distinct and that made them feel all the more real.
