Suicide Squad Review
Suicide Squad is about how Amanda Waller(Viola Davis) an intelligence official decides to make a team of criminals work for her in order to take on missions that are high risk and possibly illegal because no one really cares much what happens to criminals. The team is made up of Deadshot(Will Smith) an expert marksmen and assassin who despite his criminal lifestyle does love his daughter and wants her to have the best life possible, Harley Quinn(Margot Robbie) a former psychiatrist of the Joker who she fell in love with and he drove her crazy and to become his partner in crime, El Diablo(Jay Hernandez) a former gangster who has the ability to produce fire but refuses to use since an accident with it ended up killing his family, Captain Boomerang a thief that uses boomerangs as a weapon and Killer Croc who is half man, half crocodile. The team are supervised on their mission by Rick Flag(Joel Kinnaman), an army special forces member and Katana(Karen Fukuhara) a master swordswoman whose sword traps the souls of her victims.
The team's mission in this film is to take down Enchantress(Cara Delevingne) who is an immortal witch who is possessing the body of an archeologist named June Moon and was under the control of Waller for months before the movie started but has only now found a way to break free of her control and now wants to destroy world now that she's free. The team reluctantly fulfill their mission since they are forced to but they do began to care at least a little bit about the mission and each other throughout the film.
I overall really liked the movie I thought that it had an interesting plot and characters which I found myself engaged with throughout the film. The characters that I ended up liking the most were Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Katana and El Diablo. I also thought that the film had very interesting look to it as well. Overall I really liked this movie even though that's apparently not a popular opinion. Please tell me your thoughts in the comment section below.
