TV Review: Secret Circle: Traitor(1.20)

• I felt really bad for Cassie in this episode because she's lost her grandmother and she clearly wasn't taking it well.
• I felt really bad for both Diana and Charles when she had to confront him about the possibility of Blackwell being her father. I liked that Charles had no idea that she wasn't his daughter by blood and I loved how he said that Blackwell being her biological father doesn't change the fact that she's his daughter because he's the one who raised her and loves her.
• I loved the interaction between Faye and Jake in this episode with how they almost hooked up again and how they were paired up together at the amusement park and talk about when they used to date, also it felt like they flirted quite a bit. I kind of like the idea of Faye and Jake as a couple.
• I loved the odd storyline were Adam and Melissa went searching for Adam's family's crystal and they ended up figuring out the clocking spell by getting drunk and Adam remembering a magic trick his grandpa use to do. I really like Adam and Melissa's relationship.
• I loved that Diana didn't want to use dark magic ever and how she didn't want to trust Blackwell with everything unlike Cassie. I really like the change in Cassie and Diana's relationship in this episode with Diana making sure that Cassie knows that killing is wrong and that she won't let Cassie kill anyone.
• I liked how Charles kicked Blackwell's ass in public and told him how he'll never allow Blackwell to take Diana from him.
• I was mildly surprised to find out that Blackwell is indeed a bad guy and that he's only using the circle for their power because he wants to kill the witch hunters and the elders. I also found it interesting that him and dawn tried to have a child but it didn't work out.
• I loved that scene between Charles and Dawn towards the end of the episode when they talk about what Blackwell's up to and how they can't allow Blackwell to take their children from them. I was surprised that Dawn actually cared enough about Faye to question her Blackwell obsession and I loved that Charles called Diana the only good thing in his life, I just love the father-daughter relationship between Charles and Diana.
• I found the whole thing with the traitor witch the killings and going to the amusement park to be very creepy. I was also completely shocked to discover that Nick was the traitor witch.
• This was one of my favorite episodes of the season.

TV Review: Revenge: Legacy(1.20)

                                                   Revenge: Legacy(1.20)Review

• This episode focuses on Emily's life before she changed her name and while she's discovering the truth about her father.
• I really liked seeing Emily being more reckless and emotional in this episode because it's so different than how she usually is.
• I really liked at the beginning of the episode were Nolan found Emily and basically forced her to have dinner with him and tell her to read her father's journals.
• I enjoyed seeing Emily piece together everything she learned from her father's journal's with what she remembers from her childhood.
• I liked that Roger had actually been forced to turn on David and that he still felt guilt about all those years later.
• I liked that the whole idea of the Grayson's party was to find out who sent the letter that threaten to expose them.
• I agreed with Conrad that it seems odd that Victoria would hold on to loving David Clarke so long after she destroyed his life.
• I was surprised to learn that Lydia's and Conrad's affair went on for so many years.
• I liked the awkward first meet between Nolan and Jack.
• I loved that when Nolan realized that the houses he was buying were forcing families to move elsewhere that he offered Mr.Porter to give him his house back. I also liked that this showed that the Porter family has had money problems for awhile.
• I thought that Jack's girlfriend was very odd in her last scene but she's not really important so I guess it doesn't matter.
• I find it very interesting and sad that Emily found that Roger had been killed by the Grayson's right after he promised to help her and I liked how upset she was about this and how it made her decide that she had to get her revenge.
• I loved this episode and it's one of my favorites of the season.

TV Review: Vampire Diaries: The Departed(3.22)

                                      Vampire Diaries: The Departed(3.22)Review

• I enjoyed the flashbacks back to when Elena's parents were still alive and I especially loved seeing Jenna again.
• I was really glad that Jeremy took Elena to a hospital at the beginning of the episode because it was really bothering me that no one took her at the end of the last one.
• I was surprised to see and delighted to see Elijah again. I also liked that he came up with a great plan that would ensure that everyone would live.
• I was worried about Caroline and Tyler having to leave town but I'm glad that their mothers gave them the heads up. I'm not really sure if they still need to get out of town by the end of the episode.
• I loved that Stefan and Elena kissed in this episode and that when Elena had to make a choice she choose Stefan just like I knew she would.
• I felt really bad for Rebekah when she saw Klaus get staked, also really nice acting on Claire Holt's part.
• I really liked that Damon made sure  that Rebekah got out of the warehouse before Evil Alaric could stake her because I ship those two and he really didn't have any reason to.
• I was sad when Tyler started to die but honestly the reason that I started crying was because Caroline was crying.
• I loved that when Stefan pointed out to Damon that he wouldn't get back in time to say goodbye that Damon thought he meant for them to say goodbye to each other not Elena.
• I liked that Matt and Jeremy tried to get Elena out of time even though it didn't work.
• I loved the moment when Rebekah and Elijah hugged while they both mourned Klaus.
• I'm glad that Evil Alaric died and that when his ghost said goodbye Jeremy that he was normal Alaric again.
• I was not surprised at all that Elena became a vampire because last episode made it kind of obvious but in all honesty I wouldn't have minded if she died permanently.
• I'm really curious about what Bonnie did to ensure that when Klaus's body died he wouldn't die with it because they didn't really explain the how but they did explain the how.

Book Review: The Lying Game: Two Truths and a Lie

                                       The Lying Game: Two Truths and a Lie Review

In the third book of The Lying Game series Emma suspects the mysterious Thayer of Sutton's murder. Through out the book Emma finds clues that suggest that Thayer is indeed the murder but by the end of the book we learn that Thayer wasn't Sutton's killer but was one of the last people to see her alive. We also learn that Sutton and Thayer had a secret relationship while Sutton was seeing Garrett and that Thayer was going through rehab while he was missing.

There was also the subplot of Emma and Ethan being a couple that I really enjoyed. But I disliked the subplot were Laurel decides that the group should prank Ethan for no other reason than she was mad at Sutton who Emma is pretending to be at the moment, I'm glad that they didn't really do anything with that.

I overall liked this book but sadly I didn't think it was as good or addictive as the first two books in the series. Please tell me your thoughts on the book.

TV Review: Merlin: A Herald of the New Age(4.10)

• I really liked the sense of closeness that was felt in the first scene between the knights, Arthur and Merlin.
• I liked that Merlin warned everyone about the shrine being cursed but I hated that everyone ignored his warning and that Elyan was stupid enough to drink the water after being warned that the place was cursed.
• I liked that when Merlin promised Gauis he wasn't planning on returning to the shrine he felt the need to say that he wasn't lying this time because he spends so much of his time lying about everything.
• I liked that Elyan tried to protect himself from the spirit by using salt because of what Gwaine said earlier in the episode.
• I liked the scene were Merlin complains about Arthur never appreciating everything he does for him.
• I liked that the other knights were concerned about Elyan and want to keep things from Arthur in order to protect him.
• I liked the scene were Merlin found Arthur asleep on the table and that his hair was covered in stew and I liked how he teased him and how Arthur couldn't come up with a good excuse as to why he fell asleep like that. I also liked that later on when the knights notice the stew in Arthur's hair Merlin told them it was there because he was reading.
• I liked that Elyan went from being fearful of the spirit boy to becoming sympathetic of the spirit boy.
• I loved that Arthur actually listened to Merlin when he told him that Elyan was possessed but I hated that he started to doubt him after Agravaine talk to him a bit.
• I liked the scene were Merlin tells Gauis of his plans to reveal the spirit that is possessing Elyan.
• I find the guards of Camelot to be hilarious with the ways that Merlin is able to distract them from their jobs such as when that barell rolled away and both of them felt the need to chase it.
• I liked the scene were Merlin and Elyan talk a bit after Merlin breaks Elyan out of jail.
• I loved Colin Morgan's acting in the scene were Merlin looks down the well and sees what has happened at the site before.
• I found it really frightening when Elyan was possessed with the boy's spirit and spoke in his voice.
• I loved that Arthur didn't tell Agravaine that he knew Elyan was possessed and rather asked Gauis's advice for how to deal with it.
• I loved that Merlin followed Arthur and that when Arthur found out that Merlin was following him he didn't question why Merlin would just randomly decide to follow a mysterious cloaked figure.
• I loved the speech that Arthur gave to the spirit that is possessing Elyan and  I loved that he said he was wrong to do what he did and that he would no longer hurt the druids. I also loved Bradley James acting in that scene.
• I loved the scene at the end of the episode between Merlin and Arthur.

TV Review: Merlin: Lancelot Du Lac(4.09)

                                               Merlin: Lancelot Du Lac(4.09)Review

• I liked that Arthur told Agravaine rather than asked him that he would be proposing to Gwen the next day.
• I liked that Morgana knows about Gwen's feelings for Lancelot because it shows how close the two of them used to be, I really miss their friendship.
• I liked the scene were Morgana met with the old woman in the cave because Morgana actually seemed a little bit fearful of her and I found the magic that was described in that scene was interesting.
• I liked that Morgana mentions that bending Lancelot to her will made her feel sad for him rather than fill her with a sense of fulfillment because it shows that she's not completely evil.
• I thought that in the first half of the episode that Arthur and Gwen were really sweet together.
• I found it kind of odd that everyone just accepted that Lancelot was alive after they assumed he was dead for months.
• I liked that Merlin found out pretty much right away that Lancelot wasn't himself and that he was a shade.
• I liked that Gwen had to be enchanted to betray Arthur but I hated that she was banished for something that wasn't actually her fault at all and that she doesn't know that it wasn't her fault.
• I also felt bad for Arthur because he was again betrayed by people he had trusted completely.
• I found the scene at the end of the episode when Merlin gave Lancelot a burial at sea to be very sad because for a few seconds Lancelot was himself again before he died for good and it reminded me a lot of the scene at the end of The Lady of the Lake episode. Also Merlin was crying and that is always heartbreaking to see.
