TV Review: Just Between Lovers

                                                       Just Between Lovers
Just Between Lovers is about how Ha Moon soo and Lee Gang doo who are survivors from when a mall collapse thirteen years before the series started and how they are still dealing with the trauma that comes from what happened that day in different ways. Moon soo doesn't remember anything about the accident since she lost her memories of that time due to a head injury but since her younger sister who was also at the mall died that day she is suffering from a lot of guilt and her sister's death ended up destroying her parents marriage and damaging her relationships with her parents in different ways. Gang doo who was the last person to be rescued from the mall collapse is haunted by memories of what happened since he was the down there for nearly a week and spent several days with a dead body which is why he still suffers from nightmares and hears voices in his head that tells him he doesn't deserve to live well. Gong doo also received a pretty bad leg injury from having a piece of rebar stuck through his leg which well he can walk is something that still gives him trouble to this day.

Moon soo who works building small models for architect ends up being asked to work for the company that is rebuilding on the sight of the mall collapse which is something that she is understandable weary to be apart of considering what she went through there. Gang doo who hears about the construction makes sure that he works on the site and ends up destroying the memorial at the site which he gets found out for doing by the architect but he isn't arrested for since the architect thinks it would be a good idea to have someone like Gang doo around so that he doesn't over look something and that ends up causing another accident to happen in the future. Moon soo and Gang doo end up running into each other around this time and Gang doo ends up recognizing her from that day which makes him interested in her but she doesn't remember him at all and at first finds him to be rude but after awhile starts to see him as a good person.

As time goes on Moon soo and Gang doo end up spending more time together and learning more about each other and finding that they like each other and that being together is somewhat healing for them. When things first seem like they are going well in their developing relationship Gang doo starts to pull away from Moon soo because he doesn't actually believe that he deserves good things and thinks he'll ruin her in the end so once she figures out what he's doing she has to work hard to convince him otherwise.

Overall this series was really good it had a great character driven story about the leads overcoming their past traumas by falling in love and putting the past behind them. There were also a ton of great supporting characters in this series as well who all had their own storylines that I found myself caring about as well. This series also had some great performances by the leads as well which made the already great writing even better. Please tell me your thoughts about this series in the comment section below.
