5 Fandoms I want to Start Writng Reviews for and 5 Fandoms I want to Restart Writing Reviews for

Start Writing Reviews For
1. Shadowhunters: I really want to start writing episodes reviews for Shadowhunters because it is my second favorite show on the air right now and since Teen Wolf my favorite currently airing show is ending this year I would really love to be writing reviews for the series that is filling the void that Teen Wolf ending will leave in my heart. I'm probably going to start reviewing this show starting from the pilot once I start to get caught up with reviewing all the other shows that I'm watching and reviewing right now so it may take awhile but within the next couple of months I'll probably start writing my Shadowhunters reviews.
2. Percy Jackson and the Olympians: This series is one of my favorites but since I read the books before I started blogging I don't have reviews for these books on my blog although I have reviewed all the Heroes of Olympus books that I have read so far on here. I don't think I'm going to have the chance to review this series anytime soon since I have a lot of other books on my to read list so I'll probably not get a chance to reread and review this series anytime soon, so just know that I loved it.
3. Fruits Basket:  Fruits Basket is my absolute favorite series of all time and I have a couple million things to say about it but I haven't reviewed the series yet largely because I have so much to say about it that I don't even know where I would start with a review of the series. I think that if I were to ever write reviews for Fruits Basket that I would do it by chapter rather than by volume like I usually do for manga because I feel like I wouldn't be able to talk about everything I would like to talk about in as much depth as I want to talk about them if I don't do it chapter by chapter. No matter what way I do it any reviews I write for Fruits Basket will be very long and will take a very long time to write and will probably be a little more detailed than anyone else appreciate going into about Fruits Basket.
4. A Series of Unfortunate Events(book series): The Netflix series has reminded me of how much I loved the series so now I would like to reread the books and review them but since I don't actually own the books at this time I don't think I'll be able to review this series anytime soon no matter how much I love it.
5. Riverdale: I'm really enjoying this show so far and I wouldn't mind having a record of my thoughts on each episode but unlike the rest of the list I don't feel like I really need to review this series probably because I'm way less passionate about this show than the other fandoms on the list above but I may end up writing reviews for it someday especially if people are interested in me writing them.

Restart Writing Reviews For
1. Grimm: This is a show that I really loved when it first came out and one that I loved during all the time I watched but for some reason I stopped watching in the middle of season three despite still loving the show. Since the show is ending this year I figure there's no better time to start reviewing it.
2. Nashville: While this show was never really a favorite of mine I've always wanted to start watching it again because I liked the music and I loved Juliette's characters so I feel like I should at least finish writing and reviewing season one.
3. Reign: I really liked this show and I feel like I should at the very least finish season one since I only have two episodes left of that season to go, how far I go after that will depend on how much I enjoy the show after that.
4. Star-Crossed: This show is one that has been cancelled years ago but since I've reviewed most of the series already I feel like I should finish the rest of the series just to make things complete.
5. Hyouka: This is an anime that I watched and reviewed two episodes of and I really liked it so I figure I should pick up the show again since I remember it being pretty good.

TV Review: Grimm: Eyes of the Beholder(3.10)

                                          Grimm: Eyes of  the Beholder(3.10)Review
  • I liked the interactions between Jared and his girlfriend Joy at the beginning of the episode they were cute together and I was scared for him after he saw a Wesson gang beat another Wesson to death.
  • I liked how Nick told Juliette at the beginning of the episode that he found out that her friend Alicia is a Wesson but that he thought it was best that they didn't let her know they know because he was afraid her finding out he's a Grimm would scare her.
  • I was surprised to learn that Jared was the younger brother of Hank's physical therapist Zuri and I found it very awkward how Hank and Nick had to bring her brother into custody because of how Hank and Zuri have been having a flirty relationship up to this point.
  • I liked that Jared and Zuri eventually decided to testify against the gang after they were attacked by members of the gang at their apartment.
  • I found it interesting that Rosalee knew about Wesson gangs due to buying drugs from them from when she was younger. I also liked how Rosalee mentioned how she was glad that she didn't have to hide her past from Monroe even though it isn't something she's proud of.
  • I liked how Juliette wanted to tell Alicia that she was accepting of her Wesson nature even though that ended up making things awkward between them. I also liked the conversation between Juliette and Rosalee where Rosalee tells her how often times Wessons try to hide the fact that their Wessons from even other Wessons because most people aren't accepting of them in the way that Juliette, Nick and Hank are.
  • I liked that after Juliette and Nick help to defend Alicia from her husband that Alicia was able to not only believe that Nick won't hurt her just because he's a grimm and that she was willing to show Juliette her Wesson form and that Juliette hugged her afterwards.
  • I was really surprised to learn that Zuri and Jared were Wesson towards the end of the episode because they both were able to control themselves really well in highly stressful situations through out the episode.
  • I found it sad that while Hank was able to accept Zuri Wesson nature and all she wasn't able to accept herself.
Please tell me your thoughts on this episode.

TV Review: Grimm: Red Menace(3.09)

                                                  Grimm: Red Menace(3.09)Review
  • I felt bad for Juliette's friend Alicia who's husband was abusing her so she decided to run away and stay with Juliette and Nick for awhile, I was also very surprised to find out that both her and her husband are Wesson.
  • I liked the exchange between Renard and Adalind with how they pretend to like each other, Renard revealed that he knows she's pregnant and informed her that while everyone is interested in her child not many people care about what happens to her after the child is born.
  • I liked the mild flirting between Hank and his physical therapist I thought they were kind of cute together.
  • I found it interesting that the Russian healer was a Wesson called cosjay who's touch can either heal or kill.
  • I liked how when it was revealed that Renard could speak Russian that Hank remarked how that doesn't even surprise him at this point.
  • I liked how when Hank suggest that they bring Renard to the trailer that both and Nick and Monroe looked at him like he was crazy.
  • I liked how the Russian healer was a former assassin who was working to redeem himself by becoming a healer even though the healing was something that was slowly killing him.
  • I was surprised that the one working to kill him was the house keeper Larissa who was trying to avenge her father rather than his wife who although the two had a very tense relationship she still clearly loves him but hates to see him slowly killing himself.

TV Review: Grimm: Twelve Days of Krampus(3.08)

                                          Grimm: Twelve Days of Krampus(3.08)Review
  • I find it interesting and quite scary that there was a Wesson that takes naughty children and plans to eat them on winter solstice each year and was dressed up as Santa in this episode.
  • I thought it was really sweet how Monroe wanted to surprise Rosalee with the Christmas decorations but I was sad to learn that Rosalee doesn't really celebrate Christmas anymore because her favorite aunt and uncle died on Christmas when she was a kid.
  • I'm not really sure what the Resistance is or what their trying to do but I'm still interested in the whole royals Vienna plot despite not really getting it.
  • I thought that it was nice that Renard left a note that told Adalind that she has cameras in her room and I'm interested in what their meeting is going to be about.
  • I found the myth of Krampus the evil version of Santa that eats children to be really interesting and really creepy but I also found it really interesting that the guy apparently blacks out for three weeks each December and has no idea what he's been doing during that time or even that he's Wesson.
Please tell me your thoughts on this episode.

TV Review: Grimm: Cold Blooded(3.07)

                                               Grimm: Cold Blooded(3.07)Review
  • I was really excited to see that the new Prince Victor is played by Alexis Denisof, who I know and love for playing Wesley Wyndam-Pryce on BTVS and Angel.
  • I think it's probably not a good thing that Prince Victor wants to look into Renard, Nick and everything else that happened in Portland due to him wanting to know what led to Eric's death.
  • I found the Wesson that can rip off the limbs of their victims with easy and have a habit of stealing a large amount of goods before hibernating.
  • I liked how Nick and Hank kind of got Monroe to invite them to dinner and help with the research by pretending they didn't even know what letter the new species of Wesson their dealing with this week name starts with.
  • I liked that when Hank was taken by the brother of the guy that he and Nick had arrested earlier that Nick followed the demands in order to get Hank back but also made it clear that if any harm comes to Hank that he will kill the guy.
  • I find it a bit concerning that Nick said at the end of the episode that he kind of liked the sound of the word for Grimm that means the decapitator.
Please tell me your thoughts on this episode.

TV Review: Grimm: Stories We Tell Our Young(3.06)

Grimm: Stories We Tell Our Young(3.06)Review
  • I'm interested in why Renard has went to Vienna to meet with his family which many members of it still seem to want him dead and that he doesn't want anyone to know where he's gone.
  • I find the story of how the boy Daniel was believed to be possessed by a demon since there isn't any known method to deal with his condition to be frightening because it's not something anyone can explain or are willing to fight.
  • I liked how Nick tried to find a Wesson explanation about what is going on with the boy and that the one that he got was basically it's a Wesson spirit that posses non-Wesson children and are always dealt with by killing the child.
  • I liked the idea of the council with Wesson's having their own laws that they have to follow and I liked how Rosalee felt it was her duty to inform them of the child while Monroe was okay with just letting Nick handle things which would be very bad for him if the council ever found out about him keeping this type of thing from them.
  • I liked how Nick with the help of Juliette were able to figure out that Daniel was not in fact possessed but rather infected with a parasite and that killing the parasite would cure Daniel of his condition and I like that they were able to cure him.
  • I liked how Nick let the Council guy go in order to spread the word that cases like this can be cured by means other killing.
Please tell me your thoughts on this episode.

TV Review: Grimm: El Cucuy(3.05)

                                                Grimm: El Eucuy(3.05)Review
  • I liked how Nick told Juliette about how is mom is still alive and that she found that information hard to believe and that he mentioned it was a lot to take in, in a short amount of time for him to when he found out.
  • I found the idea of Wesson that was vigilante to be pretty interesting because while killing the people who are clearly horrible is hard to consider a bad thing the horrific ways it rips out it's victims throats makes it impossible to seem like a good thing either.
  • I liked the scene where Nick and Hank got advice about what kind of animal or Wesson maybe the killer from Juliette, Monroe and Rosalee.
  • I found the idea that the Wesson was El Cucuy a type of Spanish boogyman that comes when many women pray for it to come and protect their area to be very interesting.
  • I liked how when Nick and Juliette where going through all his family's information about Wesson that Juliette brought up the idea that el cucuy might not even be Wesson.
  • I liked how when Nick and Hank found out that this seemingly nice harmless old lady was the killer that they were clearly shocked by this and that the lady brought up the fact that no one was going to believe she was capable of the crimes they wish to charge her with so there's nothing they can do about her.

TV Review: Grimm: One Night Stand(3.04)

                                               Grimm: One Night Stand(3.04)Review
  • I liked how this episode dealt with a family of naiads who are mermaid like creatures because well I like anything that deals with things that are similar to mermaids.
  • I find it interesting that the two older sisters Sarah and Anna were willing to let their future husbands drowned two guys because of tradition but Ellie the younger sister claimed that she loved one of the guys Jake so she saved him.
  • I liked how Monroe worried a bit about where to put all of Rosalee's stuff in house considering how much stuff he already has and how when he tried to get rid of something of his he ended up telling the whole history about it and Rosalee told him that he didn't have to get rid of anything and that they'd find a place for everything.
  • I liked how they had to deal with the pressure of time restraint with the naiads only being able to stay out of the water for 24 hours so they had worry about that as well as trying to figure out who were the really killers.
  • I'm glad that the future husbands were arrested since their whole worshipping of the old ways seem to have gotten a lot of people killed or hurt.
  • I'm glad that Renard is finally considering that Adelind might be the one carrying royal blood.
  • I wonder if the email that Nick got that Juliette read about the royals was from his mom, I think it probably is.

TV Review: Grimm: A Dish Best Served Cold(3.03)

Grimm: A Dish Best Served Cold(3.03)Review
  • I loved how cute and awkward the scene was were Monroe asked Rosalee to move in with him was and I find them really sweet together and I also enjoyed that they exchanged I loves as well.
  • I find the whole think with the Biorswine poisoning Blutbads with a rare mushroom that makes them climb up trees and has their stomach explodes to be very creepy and also very cruel considering the targets were literally every blutbad that happened to eat at the restaurant.
  • I liked that Nick and Juliet are back together this season because I missed them in season 2 and I liked that now that she knows about the Wesson stuff that she was actually able to give him some helpful information about the case.
  • I liked how Renard questioned Nick on whether he felt guilty because he killed someone or because he killed someone who wasn't Wesson because he has killed those before although only when necessary so I wouldn't group Nick with his murder happy ancestors.
  • I find it interesting that because of Renard's brother's death the reigning royal will now be decided by who is the last one standing. I'm also interested in how Renard's going to react to the information his spy found out about Adelind this episode.
  • I liked how when Nick was moving out of Monroe's they noted how strange it was that a grimm and blutbad lived together without killing each other.
  • I understood why Monroe wanted vengeance against the Biorswine so bad especially since he had just saw one of his friends exploded but I also liked how determined Nick was with wanting to handle this matter legally. So I'm glad that they could come up with a plan to get the Biorswine to confess.
Please tell me your thoughts on this episode.

TV Review: Grimm: PTZD(3.02)

                                                      Grimm: PTZD(3.02)Review
  • I'm glad that Nick finally got cured of his zombie like state in this episode although I'm sad that he tried to attack his friends before that.
  • I liked how everyone agreed once they found out that Nick killed someone in his zombie like state that since he wasn't himself at the time and didn't even remember that time they all thought it was best to protect him.
  • I liked that Juliette was super concerned about Nick even after he woke up and that she kept making sure that he got his rest and I liked that Nick kept trying to kiss her then.
  • I like that Renard had successfully killed his brother and I found it sort of creepy that his mom called and thanked him for doing that.
  • I like that Nick wanted to turn himself in after he found out that he killed someone but I'm glad that Renard was able to convince him not to.
  • I continue to find Adalind's quest to become a hexanbiest again very creepy with all the strange and gross things she has to do.
Please tell your thoughts on this episode.

TV Review: Grimm: The Ungrateful Dead(3.01)

                                          Grimm: The Ungrateful Dead(3.01)Review
  • I liked how this episode started where last season ended it kept the story really moving.
  • I liked that Renard followed his brother and therefore knew that he took Nick but I'm sad that this didn't allow him to rescue Nick.
  • I was worried for Monroe, Rosalee and Juliette when where trapped in the containment yard with all the people in the zombie like state
  • I found it funny how Hank and Wu where saying that nothings happening and that things where quiet right before Juliette called Hank about the all the people in the zombie-like state.
  • I liked how since they didn't really trust Renard to handle things that Monroe and Juliette wanted to go to Austria to save Nick.
  • I'm curious about what Renard plans to do to his brother but I'm pretty sure he plans to have him killed.
  • I like that Hank doesn't seem to trust Renard with getting Nick back either.
  • I while Nick being in the zombie-like state is very worrisome overall I did like that it's what allowed him to crash the plane and kill the baron.
  • I'm glad that all the people in the zombie-like state are now cured.
  • I'm disappointed that Nick is still in his zombie-like state and likely to hurt people and I hope the rest of the main characters find him soon.
  • I found all the tasks that Adalind had to do to be accepted to become a hexanbeast again to be odd and one to be frightening(with the whole cut out of the eye balls and off of the hands and feet).
Please tell me your thoughts on this episode.

Top 10 Shows I'm Looking Forward to fall 2013

1. Revenge season 3: I've loved the first two seasons of the show and I'm really excited to see the characters again and see what revenge schemes Emily is setting in motion. While season 2 was a bit uneven in places I still overall enjoyed it and I think that show could easily fix the problems it had in season 2 namely Aiden trying to take over Emily's revenge plans but I have faith that he won't be around as much or at all this season so Emily will be free to make her own moves like she did in season 1.
2. Reign: I saw the trailer for this show and I pretty much fell in love with it, I can't wait for this show to air because it seems like one I'll love completely. This show is very loosely based off the history of Mary Queen of Scots but with a teen drama twist angle which really works for me. I love that this show seems to be about court politics in a lot of ways with how people don't have friends they have alliances and people aren't in love they're betrothed. I also love that there seems to be a bit of visions from the future elements and assassination attempts. Anyways this show is one that I think is exactly what I didn't know I wanted so badly.
3. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D: I'm excited for this show because it's created by Joss Whedon who's shows Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly and Dollhouse are some of my favorite of all time so I'm super excited to watch another show of his to watch. I liked the Avengers movie but to be honest I'm not really all that into the whole marvel verse not because I don't see the appeal to it because I do get why people love it so much but because I simply didn't see the movies leading up to it and I've only seen parts of the other movies since but I don't feel like I need to have all that information to enjoy the show which is a good thing for me.
4. Grimm Season 3: I've loved the first two seasons of Grimm way more than I ever expected I would and I'm really excited for it's return since it ended on a cliffhanger again and if there's one thing Grimm's great at it's season ending cliffhangers although not quite as good as the season 1 cliffhanger it was still great and I can't wait for the third season to began.
5. Elementary Season 2: Elementary was the show that last fall completely surprised me with how much it made me care about the characters as well as the case of the week that was usually much smarter than what I've come to expect from crime shows. Last season ended with the best episodes yet and I have faith that this show will continue to hold my attention every second that it's on so I'm really excited for season 2.
6. American Horror Story: Coven: I've loved the first two seasons of this show which were really like nothing else on television which makes this show must see tv in my book. I'm really looking forward to this season because it focuses on witches and witches are one of my favorite things so I'm really excited for this season and the treasers as always are getting me really excited and a bit confused with what's happening in them.
7. White Collar Season 5: I've loved the first five seasons of the show and I feel like this show has never let me down so I'm really excited to see what season five as set in store for me.
8. Blacklist: I saw the trailer for this show and it looked great, once I saw it I felt like I needed to see it right then and there and now I'm eagerly waiting for it to premiere.
9. Dracula: I saw the trailer for this show and it looked interesting, I like that it's a vampire story that's set in the Victorian era I believe and it looks different from most vampire stories I have seen which is a good thing.
10. Michael J. Fox Show: I really enjoyed the trailer for this show and I enjoy Michael J. Fox so I'm looking forward to the show but I'm a bit worried about keeping up with the show since I'm pretty horrible with consistently watching comedies for some reason.

Top 5Thursday: Top 5 Procedurals shows

Top 5 Thursday is a meme that I create to make lists of things involving tv and movies. I would love for anyone that sees this post to make list of their own whether it's in the comment section or on their own blog.
There's a lot of shows out there that are procedurals shows but while most of them are good for a causal viewer few actually become shows in which the audience actually cares about the characters solving the crimes so this list is about the procedurals shows that I feel are worth watching week to week.
1. Psych: This is a show about a guy who pretends to be psych and him along with his best friend solves crimes and it's actually a really funny show. I love this show because it's really very funny and I love all the characters who are so well defined and in all honesty the show is more about the characters then the crimes they solve. This show is lots of fun and there are quite a few episodes were they take a concept and run with it which makes those episodes especially entertaining.
2. White Collar: This is a show about a charming con-artist who works with the FBI as part of an agreement that allows him to stay out of prison. This show is one that I just love a lot because really love the characters and I really enjoy the cases as well that usually end up involving some kind of con and since I love anything involving con-artist I really love this show. Also each season as an over arching plot as well as cases of the week and I find both parts of the show enjoyable.
3. Elementary: This was pretty much my favorite new show of the year and I love it so much because it does such a good job of having character drama and development mixed in with the mystery of the week which are usually really fascinating as well. I really loved seeing how the relationship between Joan and Sherlock developed over the course of the season and how they both developed as characters as well. I liked that even though most crimes were solved by the end of the episode there was also the Moriarty plot and I really loved the twist they made in that plot as well.
4. Grimm: This one it is quite different then the other shows on the list since it combines crime solving and fairytale creatures but I think that the show does this pretty well and I really enjoy seeing the two aspects come together. This show is also quite different because since there's a fantasy element to the series there are some episodes that don't feel like a procedural at all because there also more arc base episodes that deal more with the mythology of the series then any type of crime. I also really like that this series is still fairly character driven as well.
5. Criminal Minds: This is the show that I watch the least on this list but it's not because I don't love it but because this show has been going on for quite a long time now and I haven't been following it since the beginning so I don't watch as much. This show always has really interesting cases and I especially love how the use of profiling works in the series with the team always basically psychoanalyzing the criminal of the week. I also think this show does a good job of letting the audience get to know the main characters without taking away from the case of the week which is a problem with shows like this one usually have.

TV Review: Grimm: Goodnight, Sweet Grimm(2.22)

                                    Grimm: Goodnight, Sweet Grimm(2.22)Review
  • I really enjoyed that how sweet Nick and Juliette were in this episode with each other and liked seeing them adjust to both being back together and Juliette now knowing about Wesson things.
  • I found the scene at the beginning of the episode with Monroe and Rosalee to be very sweet.
  • I found the people in the zombielike state being released to be very frightening do to how violent they were and because there were so many of them.
  • I was really happy that there is a cure for the whole zombielike state think even though it's a bit unfortunate that it can only be given to a person when they are in the fourth stage.
  • I find it interesting that Renard's brother told him that the family wants him to return for some mysterious reason.
  • I was quite worried about Adalind for most of the episode when Frau Pech used a potion to switch their looks but I was surprised to learn that Adalind and Stefania had predicted this course of action and actually used that to kill Frau Pech and get her heart which is needed for Adalind to get her powers back.
  • I liked that Juliette wanted to go along with Nick when it comes to the Wesson stuff because she feels like she needs to learn more about that world.
  • I liked that Nick gave the key to Rosalee to hide so that Renard's brother won't be able to find it.
  • I was really worried about everyone when they went to the ship yard which was filled with the zombielike people and an obvious trap.
  • I'm really worried about Nick because he's both in the death like state and is captured by Renard's brother so nothing good can come from that.
Please tell me your thoughts on the episode or the season as a whole.

TV Review: Grimm: The Waking Dead(2.21)

                                        Grimm: The Waking Dead(2.21)Review
  • I really enjoyed that Nick and Juliette seem to be getting back together, I also liked how Juliette apologized for how she treated Nick when she couldn't remember anything about him but at the same time Nick didn't think she needed to.
  • I liked how Adelind wanted to read the contract before she signed it because she's a lawyer and she wants to know what she's getting herself into sadly for her she really had no choice.
  • I found the top hat guy Barron a wesson who could put people in a zombielike state with a type of venom to be really creepy.
  • The whole people waking up from the read thing really creeped me out even when I knew that it was going to happen.
  • I liked how Juliette wanted to know what Monroe was suppose to show her the night that she went into the coma and I'm glad that she did eventually get to see Rosalee, Monroe and Bud Volga and that she handled it pretty well because she was pretty much as prepared for it as a person could be.
  • I liked how nervous Bud was about having Juliette see a Volga and how his nervousness mostly came from a place of worrying about Juliette's health, also I just generally find Bud to be pretty funny.
  • I liked how the show is bringing up that Adelind could be worth more dead than alive because she is carrying royal blood and I'm curious about what would happen to her if the royal family found out about the child.
  • I really liked how both Juliette and Nick were nervous about their date at the end of the episode and I liked that Nick brought Juliette flowers, I just find those two to be really cute.
  • I'm really worried about what Renard's brother is planning since he's in Portland and he hurried Barron to make a zombie arm of sorts which can lead to nothing good.
Please tell me your thoughts on this episode.

TV Review: Grimm: Kiss of the Muse(2.20)

                                      Grimm: Kiss of the Muse(2.20)Review
  • In this episode Nick encounters a Wesson that is a muse-like creature that causes anyone who she kisses to become madly in love with her, Nick unfortunately falls under her spell.
  • I really liked how everyone noticed pretty much right away that he wasn't acting like himself and that everyone pretty much worked together behind Nick's back in order to make sure he gets back to normal and doesn't do anything that he regrets.
  • I really loved how fascinated Rosalee was by all the stuff in the trailer because of all of it's historical significance.
  • I loved that Juliette finally got back all her memories and that because of her experiences over the course of this season she actually believes what Nick told her about Wesson in last season's finale.
  • I love that Juliette was able to break the spell that Nick was under and I love that it seems like these two are finally back together because I've always liked them together.
  • I kind of love how Renard let the muse like girl go with the warning of if she ever returns to Portland he will kill her.
Please tell me your thoughts on this episode.

TV Review: Grimm: Endangered(2.19)

                                              Grimm: Endangered(2.19)Review
  •  I liked how the Wesson like alien is an endangered species and that they were generally good people but have been put in a position were they have to kill cattle there fore they are drawing attention to themselves.
  • I liked how this episode once again brought up how Nick doesn't really trust Renard but he knows that Renard has access to lot more information than he does and therefore they have to work with each other.
  • I really like that Juliette is remembering her and Nick's relationship and her feelings for him. I also like that she's nervous to talk to Nick after everything that happened and that she had Monroe vaguely tell her what a Grimm is.
  • I found the Wesson who hunts other wessons for their skin to be a really creepy thing and I'm glad that he was dead by the end of the episode.
Please tell me your thoughts on this episode.

TV Review: Grimm: Volcanalis(2.18)

                                                    Grimm: Volcanalis(2.18)Review
  • I really liked the scene at the beginning of the episode where the whole police department sent Hank off on vacation since he hadn't had a vacation for four years. I just really enjoyed how lighthearted that scene was.
  • I felt bad for Juliette at the beginning of this episode because of how overwhelmed she was by the memories of Nick and I can totally understand why she was afraid to face them. I also felt bad for Nick in the hospital scene because Juliette pretty much told him she didn't want to see him anymore.
  • I thought that Volcanalis the fire creature that kills anyone that takes rocks from his mountain was extremely frightening and I liked that he was more like a god than a regular Wesson.
  • I liked the Wesson Marcus who was trying to keep people from taking the rocks from the mountain in order to keep them safe from Volcanalis and I was glad that in the end he was able to avenge his wife's death.
  • I really liked how Juliette was able to reconnect with her memories of Nick and how she was able to feel close to him again because of that. I also just really have missed sweet scenes between those two this season.
  • I liked how Nick had to work with Renard this episode but it was obvious that he didn't feel like he could trust Renard completely.
  • I find it interesting that with Adelind's storyline that we are learning more about the royal side of the Wesson community and how that works. I also found it interesting that Adelind's goal with her child is to trade it for a way to get her powers back.
  • I really liked how Nick, Renard, Monroe and Markus all teamed up to defeat Volcanalis in the end and were able to succeed in their goal which is a great thing since Volcanalis is apparently responsible for Pompeii.
Please tell me your thoughts on this episode.

TV Review: Grimm: One Angry Fuchsbau(2.17)

                                       Grimm: One Angry Fuchsbau(2.17)Review
  • I found the lawyer who was able to influence everyone in the court room in order to agree with everything he said was pretty interesting and frightening.
  • I like that Juliette is starting to get her memories back but I feel bad for her since there coming back in a very confusing overwhelming way.
  • I really enjoyed how Nick, Monroe, Rosalee and Hank all worked together to research how to stop the lawyer from influencing the jury because I just really enjoy this group dynamic.
  • I was glad that the scheme to stop the lawyer's abilities to work ended up working but for quite awhile I was worried the guy was going to get away with it.
  • I'm glad that it's mentioned that Nick and Hank aren't really sure if they can trust Captain Renard or not and I like that it's implied that Renard is keeping even more secrets like his brother suggested and I'm excited to see what will happen when Renard's brother comes to Portland.

TV Review: Grimm: Nameless(2.16)

                                                    Grimm: Nameless(2.16)Review
  • I really liked that even though the killer was a Wesson that wasn't the most interesting thing about him, I liked how the killer was much more like a real serial killer who left strange clues for the police such as title pages and Sudoku puzzles and then taunted them with the question of what is his name.
  • I liked how when Juliette returned to the house at the beginning of the episode that she asked if any spirits would like to talk to her, I just found that moment kind of funny in a way.
  • I liked how Wu was able to be a pretty big help in this episode because he has knowledge of the fantasy books the killer used and Sudoku puzzles and the whole solving puzzles like things.
  • I liked the scene when Monroe gave Rosalee one of his favorite clocks because it was really sweet.
  • I liked how Juliette went to Rosalee and Monroe in order to find help in uncovering her memories of Nick. I also liked that Rosalee was completely willing to help while Monroe had a bit of a problem due to his loyalty to Nick.
  • I thought that the killer being motivated to commit the murder because the programmers took credit for his work was interesting because it's a completely realistic motive and I found it interesting that he would rather die than loose the 'game'.
  • I'm hoping that Juliette is able to recover her memories in the upcoming memories and find out about all the Grimm and Wesson stuff instead of her leaving town.
