Alphas:Blind Spot(1.09)Review
In this episode the group detains Hearn, a blind alpha with sonar and he is followed by an alpha with the ability to make people unable to see her, Griffin. Hearn works for Red Flag and tries to convince Dr.Rosen join him and they have a very interesting conversation about alphas and their future. I found the character Griffin charismatic and hope we see her again, I like that she doesn’t really play for either side.
Also in this episode Hicks is upset that Rosen told Nina it may be a bad idea for the two of them to have a relationship, I personally thinks Rosen is probably right and was annoyed by Hicks refusing to even listen to his reasoning. I find it interesting that Bill loosing his abilities for a little while made him accept them more when he regained them. I overall really liked this episode. Please tell me your thoughts on the episode.

TV Review: Alphas: A Short Time in Paradise(1.08)
Alphas:A Short Time in Paradise(1.08)Review
In this episode Hicks and Nina become part of an alpha named Jonas cult who has the ability to make people see the light and when people in the cult fall sick they call Dr.Rosen to help them. Once there Dr.Rosen figures out that it’s the Jonas’s power that is making the people sick and eventually die and Jonas refuses to stop using his power on them and Dr.Rosen does what he must to save the people.
Also in this episode Rachel discovers her father has cancer and she has to convince him to get treatment for it. I overall liked this episode even though I thought it started out pretty slow but it got much better once it got to the part were Dr.Rosen came to the cult to treat the people. This episode made me realize once again how much I like Dr.Rosen as a character and I enjoyed seeing him struggling with killing Jonas in order to save everyone else. Please tell me your thoughts on the episode.

TV Review: Alphas: Catch and Release(1.07)
Alphas: Catch and Release(1.07)Review
In this episode the team tries to help an alpha named Skyler(played by Summer Glau who I know from playing River on Firefly and Cameron on The Terminator:TSCC) who can make whole lot of complicated machines. I liked all the twist there were to the story in the episode and I liked all the complicated inventions that Skyler made and I was glad she wasn’t a bad person. I also really liked the friendship between Skyler and Nina I liked that they had history together.
I also kind of dislike Gary’s mom for trying to stop him from working with the other alphas but I could understand why she was worried about his well being. I also liked that Gary came and helped the team anyways. I overall really liked this episode and I loved seeing Summer Glau on TV again. Please tell me your thoughts on the episode.

TV Review: Alphas: Billy and Gary's Excellent Adventure(1.06)
Alphas: Billy and Gary's Excellent Adventure(1.06)Review
In this episode Bill and Gary team up to find a kidnapped girl and later on the rest of team joins in to help them find and save the girl in the end. In this episode we also learn why Bill was suspend from the FBI and in the end he decides that he’d rather be DCIS instead.
In this episode we also learn that Nina fears she may have unknowingly pushed an ex boyfriend to sucide and her Hicks seem to develop a romantic relationship. I overall enjoyed this episode and I’m really really excited for next week’s episode. Please tell me your thoughts on the episode.

TV Review: Alphas: Never Let Me Go(1.05)
Alphas: Never Let Me Go(1.05)Review
In the this episode the team finds out that an alpha is killing people through the power of love or rather by taking away that love. I liked that the villain this episode was a grieving mother who was very easy to sympathies with and to understand why she was doing what she was doing. I also liked that we focused more Rachel’s character this episode with learning that she can’t even kiss a guy because of her alpha ability and that she not really talking to her parents right now and their not very accepting of her ability. I also liked that the relationship between Rachel and Dr,Rosen seemed to developed more. I also found it interesting that Bill’s alpha ability allows him to have super speed as well. I overall really enjoyed this episode and I look forward to the next one, please tell me your thoughts on the episode.

TV Review: Alphas: Rosetta(1.04)
Alphas: Rosetta(1.04)Review
In this episode we learn about the people who are the ones who sent the ghost after Dr.Rosen during the first episode they are part of a group called Red Flag and the ones we met in this episode were two men who had the ability to manipulate electricity and one who could sense when other alphas are near. Also in the house is an girl named Anna who can understand all languages but can only speak the one she invented and Gary was able to encode it using his alpha abilities and the two of them end up bonding. By the end of the episode we find out that Anna is actually one of the people in charge of the Red Flag operations.
I overall really enjoyed this episode and I was glad they focused on Gary’s character and I feel that I can understand his character a bit better. I also liked that we got to learn we sent the ghost from the first episode and I’m interested in learning more about the whole Red Flag operation. Please tell me your thoughts on th episode.

TV Review: Alphas: Anger Management(1.03)
Alphas: Anger Management(1.03)Review
In this episode the team tracks down an alpha with the ability to release a chemical that would make the people around them really mad and very violent. The scenes were the chemical was released were very frantic, violent and chaotic and filmed in a different way. This episode also had a good amount of character development moments like Hicks still trying to adjust to working with the other alphas or when Rachel said that she was moving out of her parents house.
I overall really liked this episode but not as much as last week’s episode, Cause and Effect. I’m really enjoying this series and I’m excited for next week’s episode. Please tell me your thoughts on the episode in the comment such below.

TV Review:Alphas: Cause and Effect(1.02)
Alphas:Cause and Effect(1.02)Review
In this episode a deadly former patient of Dr.Rosen named Marcas who has the ability to see cause and effect escapes and he and the rest of his time has to find him. I found the character of Marcas to be very interesting and I liked how he saw the whole thing as a game and I found his ability incredible and terrifying seeing how many people he manage to kill with just throwing a coin or something. I also liked seeing the relationship that Dr.Rosen and Marcas shared I liked that even though Dr.Rosen feared him he still cared about him and genuinely wanted to help him and was saddened by his death(although it’s not entirely clear if he’s dead or not since they haven’t found his body yet).
I liked the connection that was made between Hicks’s and Marcas’s ability and I like that Dr.Rosen said that just because their minds work similar when it comes to their abilities it doesn’t mean that there are the same psychologically. I also liked how it was shown that Hicks’s ability also allowed him to work backwards to see what caused something to happened.
I overall Really enjoyed the episode and I’m glad that this episode was even better then last week’s and I hope that show continues with this trend. Please tell me your thoughts on the episode.

TV Review: Alphas: Pilot(1.01)
Alphas: Pilot(1.01)Review
I found the first episode of Alphas to be very interesting it’s about a group of people with special powers who help to solve crime. The Characters include Nina whose power is a short lasting kind of mind control, Bill whose power seems to be super strength but if he uses it for too long it’s bad for his health, Rachel whose power is increased senses also when she’s doing such as a sight scan she can’t hear, Gary who can pick waves( such as wifi, TV, and cell phones) and they are lead by Dr. Rosen who doesn’t seem to have powers but is very knowledgeable about them. I like the characters so far and I think there’s a lot of room for them to grow which is always important for a tv series.
In this episode the alphas find out who could have made a near impossible shot that killed a federal witness and they find that it’s a man named Hicks who is also an alpha whose power is being a near perfect shot and he’s under mind control. Hicks ends up helping the alphas in the end and it looks like he’ll join the team next episode although it’s not exactly because he wants to. The bad guy of this episode is also an alpha with a strong mind control power and a strong case of OCD, the guy complete freaks out when there’s a loose thread on his jacket and when it’s ripped a little later on and he wears gloves most the time probably because he’s afraid of germs and his hands has blisters all over them probably due to over washing he seemed like an interesting villain so I’m a little disappointed that he died.

Top 10 things in entertainment I'm looking forward for summer 2011
Top 10 things in entertainment I'm looking forward for summer 2011
1. The Nine Lives of Chloe King
2. The Art of Getting By
I’ve been wanting to see this movie since it was called Homework but then they change the title to The Art of Getting By anyways I like the idea and I really enjoyed the trailer and it has Emma Roberts in it who I enjoyed Lymlife and It’s Kind of a Funny Story. Comes out June 17th.
3.White Collar season 3
I just really love this show and it’s one of my favorite currently running shows so I am of course very excited to be seeing yet another season of it. Returns June 7th.
4. X-Men: First Class
I saw the trailer for this movie a while ago and I thought it looked really good and although I’ve only seen parts of other X-Men movies I’ve always liked the idea and since this movie is a prequel I figured it doesn’t matter if I saw the previous movies. I also want to see it because James McAvoy and Nicholas Hoult are in it since I like both of them as actors. Comes out June 2nd.
5. Cardcaptor Sakura Omnibus edition 2
I’ve had this pre-ordered since January when it was suppose to come out but for some reason it kept getting pushed back anyways I’m super excited for this since I absolutely love the Cardcaptor Sakura anime and the first three volumes of the manga. Comes out on August 9th.
6. 30 Minutes or Less
When I first read the plot for this movie I thought it sounded funny and then when I saw the trailer I thought it was hilarious I eagerly await for it to come out on August 12th.
7. Magic Knight Rayearth Omnibus edition
I loved the Magic Knight Rayearth anime as well as whole bunch of other series by Clamp so I’m really excited to be able to read the manga which I hear is quite different then the anime. This series was suppose to originally come out last fall but got delayed for some reason so I’ve been looking forward to this for a long time now. Comes out July 19th.
8. Monte Carlo
The main reason I want to see this movie is because it stars Leighton Meester and Selena Gomez two actress I really like but I also saw the trailer and thought that the movie looked good and fun, I’m not expecting an oscar worthy movie I’m expecting a fun chick flick. Comes out July 1st
9. Alphas
Although I probably won’t see it this summer since it’s a British indie film I saw the trailer awhile ago and I thought that it looked really good and I’m looking forward to seeing it as soon as I can. Comes out June 3rd.
1. The Nine Lives of Chloe King
I’ve been extremely excited for this show since I saw a preview for it and then looked up all the other previews for it. The show looks really good and something about it reminds me of Buffy the Vampire Slayer which is always a good sign and it seems to have something to with cats which I also love. I can’t wait to see this show which comes out on June 14th.

9. Alphas
I read about this series a while ago and it sounds really good but I’m a little hesitant because it airs on the syfi channel and I’ve seen some really bad movies of the week of their’s but they also made the mini-series Alice which I enjoyed so I really hope the show is good but since I haven’t seen any trailers or previews yet I’m not sure if I’ll like it yet. Comes out July 11th.
