Top 10 Book Romances

1. Fruits Basket: I honestly believe that Fruits Basket is the best written romance ever because it's a series that develops a large cast of characters and all of the relationships develop in the right amount of time. I love how the romantic relationships take a long time to happen and that the characters know each other very well before getting together and that by the time the characters enter into a romantic relationship the characters have actually worked through their issues enough to be emotional ready for a relationship. I also just love all the characters and the relationships and cute moments as well.
2. Cardcaptor Sakura: This lovely magical girl series is in my mind about all the different forms love comes in and it also doesn't say that one form of love is better than another. I love that while there are romantic relationships in the series that those aren't the only forms of love that are focus on there's also friendships and family love that are treated equally as important. I also just really love how sweet and nice the series and that there's quite a lot of blushing as well, also magical girl series are always some of my favorites.
3. Tokyo Babylon: This series is basically a tragic romance that could only end sadly but I feel like it tricks me into thinking there could have been a happy ending even though I know logical the relationship was doomed to end the way it did. This series last volume completely breaks my heart and I just love that the main theme of the series is that no one can really judge another person's pain.
4. Wolves of Mercy Falls series:I've only actually read the first two books of the series but I love the love stories in this series and I also just love the characters that seem to be mostly messed up in some form. I just adore the romance in the series but I honestly think I actually love the character related stuff more.
5. The Fault in Our Stars: This is sad but beautiful romance between two wonderfully entertaining characters and while I'm sad about the ending of the book I'm glad that those two met since their relationship was so beautiful.
6. Gallagher Girls series: I wouldn't really call this series a romance but rather I would call it a book that has very sweet romances but the plot involves girls in spy school which is so much cooler than romance but both sections of the series are equally good.
7. The Host: I really love this book as a series because I loved how Ian could love Wanda entirely for being who she is on the inside rather than anything to do with her looks.
8. Sailor Moon: This is a love magical girl series that has a reincarnation romance that is wonderful and so very romantic.
9. Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle: I'm not sure if this counts as a romance but I think it does since everything that happened in the series happened because of love and I just kind of love the whole I almost destroyed the universe in order to save my loved one type of stories.
10. Gentlemen's Alliance+: Just a series I love that involves romance that I remembered enjoying.

Manga Review: Pretty Guardain Sailor Moon Vol.3

Pretty Guardain Sailor Moon Vol.3 Review
In this volume Usagi as Sailor Moon has to face a brainwashed Mamoru as Tuxedo Mask in battle since he is under Queen Beryl's control. Usagi ends up fully remembering her past life as Princess Serenity only to seem to repeat how her last life ended in her battle with Mamoru but in the end they are both saved by the legendary sliver crystal. Sailor Venus was able to defeat Queen Beryl in the end but Queen Metalia wasn't defeat along with her and she ended up absorbing the power of the legendary sliver crystal for sometime and even when Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus combined their powers they were unable to defeat her. In the end Sailor Moon is able to defeat Queen Metalia from drawing power of the legendary sliver crystal and she was also able to remake the Moon Castle due to her new found power. In the end everyone was able to live and their lives were peaceful for a time.

Shortly after the defeat of Queen Metalia, Usagi and Mamoru meet a young girl who we call Chibi-Usa who demands that Usagi gives her the legendary sliver crystal and ends up staying with Usagi's family after she hypnotises them into thinking she was meant to be there. Due to Chibi-Usa mysterious origians and actions Usagi doesn't trust or particularly like Chibi-Usa.

Shortly after Chibi-Usa's arrival two of the Spectre sisters arrive and challenge Sailor Mars and Sailor Mercury both of the sisters are able to be defeated but both Sailor Mars and Sailor Mercury are taken kidnapped after the sisters defeat. The Spectre sisters were working for someone who is called the Wise Man and both of the sisters had similar powers to Sailor Mars and Sailor Mercury with Crimson Rubeus having the powers of fire and Berthier having powers having to do with water, also the sisters stragities were similar to the sailor scout they fought.

I continue to enjoy this series I still love the characters and I found the conclusion to the first arc of the series to be very enjoyable and I love how the second arc is starting off as well. I'm also continuing to really enjoy the artwork as well. Please tell me your thoughts about this volume.

1. George R.R. Martin: I love the A Song of Ice and Fire series although I'm just now starting on A Clash of Kings, I love the Martin writes it gives just the right amount of description and emotional depth to the story and I feel like every word he wrote needed to be written which is saying a lot due to how long the books are.
2. Orson Card Scott: I read the book The Lost Gate which he wrote and I really loved the book overall and how the book was written as well.
3. Rachel Hawkins: I'm reading Hex Hall right now and I just love the way that it's written there's a nice sense of humor about the book and the book seems to be able to balance the witch stuff and the teenage stuff excellently.
4. Jay Asher: I read Thirteen Reasons Why this year and this book was very well written and intriguing in a sad way.
5. Stephanie Perkins: I read Anna and the French Kiss this year and while I was disappointed by the book overall, I still loved the way that Stephanie Perkins wrote the book in this way that was light and fun.

My Top 10 Kickass Heroines

I've made a list of my top 10 book heroines just I few months ago so that list and this list are pretty similar but for this list I decided to add a few tv heroines as well.

1. Daenerys Targaryen(A Song of Ice and Fire series): Daenerys is a character I love because of how much she evolved within the first book alone I loved how she went from being fearful and seemingly weak to a strong powerful queen to her people. I love how she's able to walk through fire without getting burned and that she brought the dragons back and out of all the charatcers in the series she's the one I think should win the Iron Throne.
2.Usagi Tsukino/Sailor Moon(Sailor Moon): Usagi starts off the series not really wanting to fight the bad guys because she gets scared easily but she also ended up fighting and defeating her enemies because she felt that someone had to fight for justice and she just happened to be the person able to do that. Although it's been a while since I watched the anime and I only read the first 2 volumes of the manga I remember it being said or shown that she's one of the most powerful people ever as well so I that contributes to her characters strength but the reason I love her the most is because she fights even when she scared and that she is often times pretty easy to relate to.
3.Emily Thorne/Amanda Clarke(Revenge): I actually really wanted to put Emily first but I felt I couldn't because Top 10 Tuesday is a book meme and she's from a tv show so I put her as high as I thought I could. I love Emily she's everything I want and more out of a heroine she's very smart with the elaborate schemes she's able to pull off and I love she's able to fake this whole innocent sweet personality so flawlessly. I love that she is actually a skilled fighter even though she doesn't use that part of her skills often because that direct kind of approach won't usually be able to destroy her enemies. I love her determination in her revenge and I like that she's kind of screwed up with how she doesn't care all that much about collateral damage. I love Emily pretty much completely and she's one of the main reasons I love the show so much.
4.Sakura Kinomoto(Cardcaptor Sakura): I love Sakura because she's one of those people who wants to be friends with everyone and I love how her kindness actually often times help her capture that cards. I also love that she uses quick thinking to capture the cards as well and I love that she doesn't give up on things. Also it said towards the end of the manga that Sakura is the most powerful magical person ever.
5.Nikita(Nikita): I've only recently started watching Nikita but I love the show as well as the character. I think that Nikita is a great heroine because she's strong and smart with how she's able to take on Division with very little outside help. I also like that she isn't detached from her emotions but she knows how to control them.
6.Alyss Heart(The Looking Glass Wars series): I remember Alyss being a good leader who has had to take her kingdom back by force twice in the first two books.
7.Katarina Bishop(The Heist Society series): I love Kat because she's very smart and she's confident in her abilities and I like that she's able to keep her cool during a stressful situation quite easily.
8.Chloe Saunders(The Darkest Powers series): I love her because she knows how she should play a situation to her advantage and then does it and I also like that she can raise the dead.
9.Buffy Summers(Buffy the Vampire Slayer): I may not always love her but I think everyone can agree that she's a great heroine with how she has saved the world many times even though it was often at the expense of her own happiness which just makes her more heroic.
10.Katiness Everdeen(The Hunger Games): She's a good fighter and she does everything in her power to survive the games even though she's not a character I really like I still think she's a great heroine.

Manga Review: Pretty Guardain Sailor Moon Vol.2

Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Vol.2 Review
This volume begins with Usagi discovering that Mamoru is actually Tuxedo Mask and he already knows that she is Sailor Moon. Usagi and Mamoru seem to grow a bit closer in this volume and there are quite a few moments were they cutely flirt with each other in the first half of this volume. It's also discovered in this volume that Usagi is the reincarnation of Princess Serenity and that Mamoru is the reincarnation of Prince Endymion who was Princess Serenity's lover who was killed in front of her and who's death drove her to take her own life.

In this volume Sailor V is revealed to be Sailor Venus the leader of the sailor scouts but in this life goes by the name of Minako there actually not all that much revealed about her within this volume. In a battle with the last of Queen Beryl's servants the legendary sliver crystal is formed from Sailor Moons tears after Tuxedo Mask is injured in her place the power of the crystal is able to heal him but his taken prisoner by the dark kingdom.

In this volume we learn that Queen Beryl wants the legendary sliver crystal in order to revive Queen Metalia who was the one who brought destruction to the moon kingdom many years ago. The dark kingdom ends up brainwashing Mamoru and using him as weapon in order to get back the legendary sliver crystal and at the end of the volume Queen Beryl has gotten the legendary sliver crystal and is vowing to kill all of the sailor scouts.

I overall really liked this volume and I liked how much plot development happened in this volume. I still really like the artwork but brainwashed Mamoru looked a little silly at times. Please tell me your thoughts on this volume.

Top 10 Books I reviewed and Top 10 Manga I reviewed

Books
1. Game of Thrones: This is one of the best written books I have ever read and it's also one of the most interesting as well. I love this book for it's intriguing plot, great characters, timeless themes and fantastic world building. I also love that it's written in the viewpoints of many different characters.
2. The Lost Hero: Is the first book in the Heroes of Olympus series and it's a great start to the series with a good plot, some great characters and the writing is just as good as Rick Riordan's other series. I also like that builds on the mythology of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series and that it's told from three different viewpoints.
3. Perfect:This is my second favorite Ellen Hopkins book which is a companion novel to Impulse my favorite Ellen Hopkins novel. This story is one about four teenagers trying to meet up the expectations of being perfect and they all have different ideas of what perfection is and whether or not it's really worth striving for. This novel is written in verse like all the Ellen Hopkins novels I read so far and that makes the book both beautiful and more in depth than it probably would have been if it was written in prose.
4.Tricks: Another Ellen Hopkins novel and it's written just as beautifully as Perfect but it's subject manner is far from pretty. This book is about five different teenagers get themselves caught up in the business of selling their bodies in one form or another. The characters are vastly different and their actions and reasons for their actions also vary a great deal. The only real problem I have with this book is that it ended on a bit of a cliffhanger but there's never going to be a sequel and the stories of each character didn't really interconnect.
5. Shiver: Shiver is a beautiful love story about a sensible girl named Grace and Sam a sweet boy who turns into a wolf every winter. I love this story because I love the relationship between Sam and Grace as well as the characters themselves. I also like the interesting mythology of the series and I like that even though most people call it a werewolf series it's kind of not because the wolves are just regular wolves not really what people consider werewolves.
6. Heist Society: A fun series about con-artist with a brilliant kickass heroine, a completely swoon worthy romantic lead and a nice crew to help her pull off the job. I love pretty much everything about this book and I don't see that changing any time soon.
7. The Awakening: The second book in The Darkest Powers series doesn't suffer from bad pacing like the first book with having almost non-stop action for about half of the book while the other half develops characters, relationships, plotlines and powers.
8. Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy: The second book in the Gallagher series is my favorite book in the series so far(I've only read the first 3) and I have to admit that has a lot to do with the character Zach being introduce. I also love that most of the things I love about the first novel is still in place and I especially love the whole espionage ball they had.
9. Thirteen Reasons Why: This is a heartbreaking book about a girl who took her own life and record a set of tapes telling people why she did and why they are to blame for her death. I found this to be a well written sad but realistic novel.
10 Secret Circle series: I read these three books together so I have a problem separating them but I love them all with it's interesting plot, a number of characters I love and of course witchcraft. I also love that at the beginning at least it was kind of about witches who were also bitches for some reason I real enjoy that.

Manga
1. Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle: I have actually finished this series although I've only reviewed the first 3 volumes so far. I love this series because I like the concept, love the characters and the relationships they share. I also liked that there were quite a few plot twist even though a lot of them made me really upset and the ones at the end of the series were pretty confusing. I also love the art and the seemingly endless crossovers with over other Clamp series.
2. Cardcaptor Sakura: I love this series because everything is just so cute, happy and nice. I really love the characters and all the forms of love that are explored in the sweetest most Innocent way but I do have a soft spot for the romantic relationships. I also love that it's a magical girl series because that's one of my favorite sub genres. I also love the artwork it's super adorable which fits the series perfectly and it has an entirely happy ending which I'm beginning to realize is a far thing in Clampverse.
3. Tokyo Babylon:I love this series which blends the occult and social issues flawlessly and is able to make the reader care about the oneshot characters. I also love all three of the main characters although they are very different from each other. I also love the series for having one of the most depressing ends I ever read and that the theme of the series is that no one can really judge another person's pain.
4. Pandora Hearts:I love this twisted series that has a strange number of parallels to Alice in Wonderland but I can't think of a good way to explain. I like the characters so far and the plot is very intriguing.
5. Magic Knight Rayearth: I love this magical girl series about a group of three girls being transport to another world and becoming as close as sister extremely quickly. I love the characters, the world and the plot. The artwork is also beautiful.
6. Sakura Hime: The Legend of Princess Sakura: Another magical girl series and it involves swords and demons. I like quite a few of the characters and the plot is interesting and the artwork is beautiful.
7. Xxxholic: Another series that blends the occult with ordinary human issues, it's a very good series and it crossover with Tsubasa. I love the characters and the artwork as well.
8. Sailor Moon: A classic magical girl series with great characters, a good plot and beautiful older shugo style artwork.
9. Kobato:A lovely series about a kindhearted ditz, the characters are likable and the artwork is beautiful.
10. Clover:A very interesting series about people with extra special powers and how they have to live because of it.

I'm now considering doing a list like this for tv episodes, is anyone interested in that?

Manga Review:Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Vol.1

                                            Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Vol.1Review
Sailor Moon was the first anime I ever watched it was back when I was in elementary school and had no clue about what anime was but I loved Sailor Moon all the same. More recently I have watched the sub version of Sailor Moon and I found that I still enjoyed the series so when the manga started to be rereleased I was very excited to read the series.

Sailor Moon is about a girl named Usagi Tsukino who can be a bit of a crybaby and her "hobbies included sleeping, eating and taking the easy way out." Usagu one day meets a talking cat named Luna who grants her magical powers in order to stop the servants of Queen Beryl from stealing the energy from good people and to find and protect the legendary silver crystal and the Moon Princess. Usagi's powers grant her the power of the moon so when she transforms she becomes Sailor Moon but Usagi is somewhat reluctant to become a hero because she's easily scared by the villains but she does feel like she has to stand up for justice and to save innocent people.

Through out the volume more Sailor scouts are introduce that help Usagi defeat Queen Beryl's servants. The first one is Ami who is one of the smartest girls at Usagi's school but is a bit of loner because other students believe that's she stuck up(she's not at all) but Usagi ends up becoming friends with her before she finds out she's Sailor Mercury. The next one she meets is Rei who's family owns a shrine and she already has some supernatural powers, she turns out to be Sailor Mars and she uses her fire powers to defeat Queen Beryl's first servant. The last one she meets this volume is Makoto a girl that is unusually tall and strong but is actually pretty girly, she turns out to be Sailor Jupiter. I really loved meeting all these girls through out the volume and I liked how they all became friends.

Also throughout this volume Usagi when she's Sailor Moon continually runs into to a guy that goes by the name Tuxedo Mask and throughout the volume Usagi develops more and more of a crush on him and he seems to feel the same way about her. Usagi shares quite a few romantic moments including a kiss with Tuxedo Mask through out this volume. Usagi also runs into a high school boy named Mamoru several times throughout the volume who she often argues with but looks pretty much exactly like Tuxedo Mask. I really loved the relationship between Usagi/Mamoru, Sailor Moon/Tuxedo Mask in this volume.

I think that the art in this volume is super pretty older shugo style which I really love and I wish that more of the newer manga was in this type of style because all the artwork is really pretty and girly. I overall loved the plot and characters that were contained in this volume and I liked that this volume moves so much faster the anime ever did. I overall love this volume and I'm looking forward to the next one. Please tell me your thoughts on the series.

Top 10 books for people who like X author

For People who like Ally Carter's series Gallagher Girls and Heist Society:
1. Magic Knight Rayearth: I would say it's similar to the Gallagher Girls series because it's about a group of girls who have vastly different personalities but are still close friends who considers each other to be sisters and work well together. The girls in both series are also pretty good at fighting their enemies.
2. Kami Kaze Katiuo Jeane: It's similar to Heist Society because it's about a young girl that steals priceless art in order to help people although the reasons in the two series are very different.
3. Shugo Chara: It's similar to Ally Carter's series because it has a strong female lead who forms close and important friendships and has just enough swoon worthy romance.
4. Sailor Moon:Another series about a group of girls that are good friends and are capable of fighting evil.
5. Percy Jackson and the Olympians/Heroes of Olympus: I find that these series are similar to Ally Carters because friendship is an important part of the series.
6. Secret Circle: Has lots to do with friendships.
7. Rosario+ Vampire: It's set at a bordering school, the girls can kick some ass and friendship is an important part of the series.
For people who like The Hunger Games:
1. Battle Royale: Has a similar idea with having a bunch of kids kill each other on tv except this time they all actually no each other.
2. Uglies: Is another teen dystopian with a corrupt government that likes to control it's people.
3. 1984: A classic dystopian that tries to make thinking differently a crime.
