Top 5 Thursday is a meme that I create to make lists of things involving TV and movies. I would love for anyone that sees this post to make list of their own whether it's in the comment section or on their own blog.
I've noticed recently that there are some shows that I haven't watched in a long time that I do still love that I never got around to watching again so therefore I'm super far behind on them so I thought I'd make a list of them in hopes that it will motivate me to catch up on the shows.
1. Pretty Little Liars: I really loved this show but I've only watched season 1 and the first couple episodes of season 2. I still hear and see stuff about this show all over tumblr and I really want to get caught up with the show but I never seem to do so for some reason.
2. Nashville: I really loved this show because of it's music which is so great and I thinking everyone should at least listen to the soundtrack of this show. Another thing that I love about this show is the character Juliette Barns she is my favorite character and half time she's the only thing I really care about in the episode which might not be a good thing. I don't know how I got so far behind in that I've only watched the first 15 episodes but I do plan to catch up on the show and I plan to continue to review.
3. Switched at Birth: I actually watched and reviewed the first ten episodes of this series but I didn't know when it came back and then I just never watched it because I felt like I couldn't review the episodes since they aired so long ago but I really love the show. I would really like to start watching the show again and I was wondering if you guys would be okay with me reviewing every episode.
4. Orphan Black: This is a show that I started this summer and it's a really great show that I'd recommend to anyone and it has really amazing acting and is an unusual story in that it deals with clones but does so in a way that feels realistic like it could be something that could be happening in our world and we just don't know about it. I only ended up watching like three out of ten episodes I do plan to watch the rest of them it's just that I haven't gotten around to it and since it doesn't come back until spring I haven't really felt pressured to do so.
5. Doctor Who: I only have two episodes in series 7 that I still need to watch but with the 50th anniversary coming up so soon I really want to be caught up by then so I can watch it. This is a show that I obviously still love and it's really just because it's not possible for me to watch it live that I got behind on the series in the first place so I'm sure I'll catch up soon.

Top 5 Thursday: Top 5 Vampires
Top 5 Thursday is a meme that I create to make lists of things involving TV and movies. I would love for anyone that sees this post to make list of their own whether it's in the comment section or on their own blog.
Since it's getting close to Halloween I thought that it was a good idea to make a list of my favorite vampires.
1. Caroline Forbes(Vampire Diaries): I really love Caroline because of her positive attitude that she is able to keep even though her life is pretty much a nightmare and I love that we got to see her transition into being a vampire and I loved that being a vampire didn't really change who she was but more gave her confidence in herself that she lacked as a human.
2. Rebekah Mikaelson(Vampire Diaries): One of the main reasons I love Rebekah is because even though she has been around a thousand years she hasn't really lived at all and all she really wants is to be able to have a normal human life which is why she so badly wants to go to high school or fall in love because those are part of the life she'll never be able to have but longs for so desperately. I also love that Rebekah is very into vengeance although Rebekah does get screwed over a lot she's always able to find a way to get her revenge which is something I quite admire about her.
3. Angel/Angelus(Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel): I love Angel because there's a lot of duality with him and his Angelus persona, I like that Angel is the very heroic character who does all the good he can to make up for his past sins although that's not say he doesn't still have a dark side since he does, but I also really love the Angelus side of his personality that is pretty much pure evil and thinks murder as his art and I love how much he enjoys psychological torture as well. I also really loved seeing in the show Angel that Angel is actually a huge dork that is extremely socially awkward that wasn't something you'd expect out of him from only watching Buffy but it's something I love about him.
4. Darla(Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel): I love Darla because she so very evil but she also has a lot of depth to her with how we know so much about her past and I pretty much love her because she's kind of exactly what I think a female vampire should be like.
5. Karin Maaka(Chibi Vampire): I really love Karin because she's such an odd vampire in that she gives people blood rather than drinks and actually likes the sunlight and other things that goes against not only vampire lore in general but also the rules of the other vampires in the series. I also really love that she's such a teenage girl and has to deal with so many embarrassing situations.

Top 5 Thursday: Top 5 Whedonverse Episode
Top 5 Thursday is a meme that I create to make lists of things involving TV and movies. I would love for anyone that sees this post to make list of their own whether it's in the comment section or on their own blog.
Since I started watching Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. this week and I'm a huge fan of Joss Whedon shows I thought that now was a good of time as any to make a list of my favorite episodes which there are a lot more than five but I'll only be mentioning five of them.
1. Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Becoming(2.21-2.22): The season two finale of Buffy the Vampire Slayer is one that just got me I felt like there were high stakes both for the world in general and Buffy's emotional stakes as well. I just really loved this episode that was the conclusion to the Angelus storyline which was both action packed and emotionally draining which I think of as a good thing in this situation. My heart broke for Buffy more than once in this episode when her mom found out she was the slayer and when she had send Angel to hell once he got his soul back. I'm not sure that I'm explaining my love for this episode properly but it's pretty much my favorite episode of all time.
2. Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Passion(2.17): This is another great Buffy season 2 episode this one is the one that shows just how cruel Angelus is it shows how Angelus saw murder as his art and how he just loved hurting people with how he elaborately laid out Jenny's body and watched through the window as Buffy and Willow received the news this cruelty and psychological torture he inflicts on everyone through out the episode is what makes him one of my favorite villains. This episode is also very sad with how it raises the stakes with Jenny's death and how it's the first episode where a character that the audience deeply cared about died, I also enjoy the fantastic monologue about passion.
3. Dollhouse: Belonging(2.04): This is probably the most disturbing episode of tv that I have ever watched and I love it for that because the concepts of this show where always somewhat disturbing but the show was never more honest about how disturbing it was then they were in this episode. The backstory of how Serria ended up in the dollhouse is both saddening and terrifying she literally just said no to a guy and he had her drugged declared insane and was taken to a place that stripped her of her identity and he could use her whenever he wanted. This episode that ended up showing not only Serria history but also her taking revenge which only led to damaging her more but on a somewhat happy note she realized that she was in love with Victor despite that not making a whole lot of sense to her since she couldn't even really remember spending time with him. This is also a great episode for Topher's development as a character with him wanting to help Serria and realizing that all this time he wasn't helping her but instead helping her get hurt and I liked how this was one the earliest episodes in which Topher starts to develop a conscious and I kind of love how it's in such a painful way and it really does start to change the way he thinks about the dolls.
4. Angel: Over the Rainbow(2.20): I honestly loved all of the episodes that were set in Lorne's world but this is the first one so I decided to put this one on the list. I really just enjoyed watching this episode and I loved meeting Fred for the first time and I loved that Cordelia was made ruler. I also loved how excited Angel was when the sun didn't set him on fire.
5. Angel: Five By Five(1.18): I overall just really loved Faith's arc in generally but this episode was probably my favorite part of it with Faith becoming increasingly violent and reckless as the episode goes on until the end when she just kind of breaks and begs Angel to kill her.

Top 5 Thursday: Top 5 Season Premieres
Top 5 Thursday is a meme that I create to make lists of things involving TV and movies. I would love for anyone that sees this post to make list of their own whether it's in the comment section or on their own blog.
Since fall TV shows will start returning soon I thought that now would be the best time to make a list of my favorite season premiere episodes, I feel I should note that I'm not including any pilot episodes because I feel like pilot episodes are quite different with how there needs to be a lot more set up and so they won't be included on this list.
1. Doctor Who: The Eleventh Hour(5.01): I watched Doctor Who in a strange order in that I tried to start with the first series but I got bored with it after three episodes but then I decided I start with series 5 instead which was a really good decision on my part since I absolutely loved The Eleventh Hour. I loved the Eleventh Doctor right away with how odd he was and I loved little Amelia Pond and I loved how she handled the Doctor and is weirdness and the crack in her wall. I was sad for Amy when I found out that the Doctor had been gone for years and she had grown up waiting for the Doctor who no one else believed was real. I loved that Rory noticed that coma patients were walking around town while they were also in the hospital and that the Doctor notice Rory taking pictures of them was because he noticed something often. To be honest even though we weren't suppose to think of Rory as an important character yet I ended up loving the Doctor, Amy and Rory all as individual characters and also as a group. I loved seeing the Doctor get rid of the alien that was trying to destroy the world and then he called it back to tell it earth is under his protection. I really loved this episode and I thought it was a really good introduction for the Doctor, Amy and Rory.
2. Vampire Diaries: The Return(2.01): The first seven episodes of season 2 are pretty much regarded as the best period of the show by most fans and I have to agree with that statement. I loved this episode because it's the one that introduced us to modern day Katherine who is the best villain this show has ever had by far. Katherine was terrifying, charming and seductive and I completely loved her for it. I love how her motives are so unclear and I love that we just know she's up to something but no one has a clue as to what. I loved how seamlessly already Katherine is able to play Elena and I love how this adds an extra layer of threat to everyone who isn't in the know about vampires and doppelgangers. I loved that extremely sexy make out Katherine and Damon has it was so passionate and I love how he started off somewhat violently and I love that Damon poured his heart out to her and that Katherine lied to him and said she never returned his feelings because she's planning something and she can't afford to get distracted by emotions. I loved how the episode ends with Katherine killing Caroline telling her to deliver the message "Game on." because it just made me wonder what she's up to and how many people she's willing to kill to get what she wants.
3. The OC: The Aftermath(3.01): This is the first episode of The OC that I ever watched and this is the episode that made me completely fall in love with the show and it's characters. Even when I re-watch this episode I still love it and I feel like this episode in a lot of ways was a throwback to season 1 with Ryan getting arrested, Jimmy and Julie being together, Julie being villainous with getting Trey to blame the shooting on Ryan, Marissa and Summer dressing up as candy stripers and the fact that there were hardly any guest stars in this episode with it mostly focusing just on the main characters. I love this episode both because I think it's a good episode and because it's the one that introduced me to my favorite show.
4. Degrassi:TNG:When Doves Cry(2.01-2.02): This episode is the one that introduces Craig Manning who was my favorite character of the show and it does so with such an important storyline for him. While I don't think enjoy is the right word to describe how I felt about Craig's storyline about being abused by his father and feeling like he can't take it anymore I thought it was well written and especially well acted by Jake Epstein who I still have on a list of my favorite actors because of how much I enjoy his acting on this show. I also enjoyed the lighthearted subplot with JT trying to get a date with Paige probably mostly because I love both of those characters as well.
5. Revenge: Destiny(2.01): I really loved this episode because it just really got me excited about the rest of the season. I loved that Emily and Nolan had so many scenes together in this episode because I so missed seeing those two on my TV screen and I like them best when they're with each other. I loved that Emily was keeping in touch with Charlotte in order to have a new way into the Graysons lives and I loved how Victoria was revealed to have faked her own death with the help of the white haired man. I loved pretty much every bit of this episode and I don't think I have a particularly good reason as to why just that I really enjoyed it.

Top 5 Thursday: Top 5 Male Friendships in Fiction
Top 5 Thursday is a meme that I create to make lists of things involving tv and movies. I would love for anyone that sees this post to make list of their own whether it's in the comment section or on their own blog.
I actually made a list of my top 5 female friendships a couple months ago so I figured it'd be a good idea to make one for male friendships as well. Also since people tend to be more into guys friendship for some reason I figured it'd be a good topic for this list but if you want to write a list on female friendship instead as a response to this post that would be great as well really hope that someone responds to one of these posts.
1. Seth and Ryan(The OC): With this one I don't think I have that much of a deep meaningful reason why their my favorite I just really love every single scene that they have together and those scenes tend to be my favorite in each episode. I love that even though one the surface the two of them are really different they seemed to just work together really well and I loved that they formed a friendship right away and through out the whole series they never had a fight that lasted long which is something that I really enjoy because a lot of series in genre of show likes to not value friendships but that's never been a problem with this show in general. I also really love that even though this show dealt a lot with relationship drama that it was also clear that show always found Seth and Ryan's relationship just as if not more important then the romantic ones but mostly I love these two because they made the show for me.
2. Scott and Stiles(Teen Wolf):These two are pretty much the reason that I was able to watch past the first couple episodes of the series back when it wasn't all that good and I questioned why I was watching it but within the first couple of scenes I found my answer: Scott and Stiles friendship. I love that these dorks wonder into the woods in the middle of the night to find a dead body and I love that Scott didn't even seem to be into this idea but went simple because Stiles asked him to and I love that Stiles dad assumed that wherever Stiles was Scott was close by and love that Stiles figured out that Scott was a werewolf before he did and I love that abandoning Scott never even crossed Stiles mind even though he had just became a dangerous creature. I love that these two always seem to be there for each other and I love that they have been best friends for pretty much their whole lives and I love that even through all the changes that happen through out the series they still always have each other. I love that their friendship obviously means the world to both of them with how Stiles would rather die than live in world without Scott and how Stiles was able to take Scott out of committing suicide by telling him he'd have to take him with him. I just really love these two from the start and my love for this friendship only seems to grow.
3. Corey and Shawn(Boy Meets World): I haven't watched Boy Meets World in awhile but I remember how good of friends Corey and Shawn were I remember them being there for each other through good and bad times and I remember them always seeming to want to be at each other's side. I just remembered that these two always had a great friendship and I remember always enjoying.
4. Shawn and Gus(Psych): I just really enjoy these two because they had been friends their whole life and they can both be really ridiculous. I like that even though there are times when they really annoy each other they clear love and care for each other also I love that they mentioned before they have a plan to live next door to each other and share a pool someday.
5. Yuki and Kakeru(Fruits Basket): I just really loved their friendship because Kakeru was the first person who was an outsider that didn't know about the curse that Yuki really became close to which was something that he'd been struggling with his whole life. I also just really love their dynamic together and I love that Yuki felt he could somewhat confide in Kakeru even though he never told him anything about the curse. I just really enjoyed both characters and their relationship.

Top 5 Thursday: Top 5 Bottle Episodes
Top 5 Thursday is a meme that I create to make lists of things involving tv and movies. I would love for anyone that sees this post to make list of their own whether it's in the comment section or on their own blog.
Bottle episodes are were the whole episode takes place in basically one location and while quite a few people seem to dislike these kind of episodes I happen to love them so here's a list of five of my favorites please tell me yours as well.
1. Doctor Who: The Girl Who Waited(6.10): This is an episode that I didn't realize was technically a bottle episode until I looked up bottle episodes on TV tropes but this is actually one of my favorite episodes of Doctor Who that I've seen so it had to make it on my list. This is an episode that I find all kinds of heartbreaking with Amy becoming stuck in a different timeline for years and having to survive on her own and she became bitter towards the Doctor during that time. There's also lots of great Amy and Rory moments through out the episode some heartwarming and some heartbreaking but overall love just about everything about this episode one of my all time favorites.
2. Teen Wolf: Motel California(3.06): This episode takes place at this really creepy motel that proudly displays the number of in room suicides in the it's lobby so it comes as little surprise that this places causes a lot of odd behavior with having Scott, Isaac, Boyd and Ethan starting to hallucinate and then try to kill themselves. I really enjoyed seeing Stiles, Lydia and Alison working together stopping the werewolves from killing themselves they all worked really well together as a team. Then there was Scott's suicide attempt that was so heartbreaking with him blaming himself for things that weren't his fault and thinking that the world was better off without him and then Stiles tells him that if he's going to do this he's going to have to take him with him and I just have so many friendship feels about these two in general but this episode kind of overwhelmed me a bit. I overall really loved this episode because I do tend to enjoy watching people hallucinate in general, seeing characters I love work together and I've always been super invested in Scott and Stiles friendship in general so this episode was kind of perfect for me.
3. Doctor Who: Midnight(4.10): This episode was extremely disturbing for what it said about human nature or rather the whole pack mentality with how in times of great stress people can be quite easily made to turn on one another in order to save themselves. I really liked how this episode turned around how effective the Doctor was at dealing with these kind of situations because normal he can always make people see his side and he brings out their heroic side but in this one it just made them suspicious of him. I overall felt like this episode left a deep impact on me and I really enjoy how much the episode made me feel even though it wasn't exactly a good feeling.
4. Teen Wolf: Night School(1.07): This is the first episode of Teen Wolf that made me realize that I actually kind of love the show not just parts of it because before this point I was just watching it because I wanted to review another show over the summer but this one made me realize how much I cared about the characters and the plot of the show in general. I loved how in the first half the episode Scott and Stiles were just trying to find the best way to escape the school without the alpha killing them and that it was just the two of them doing the best they could to survive. I also kind of like the contrast with Scott and Stiles situation to Alison, Jackson and Lydia's where they came to the school because they thought Scott invited Alison with how the three of them are at the school and have no idea what is going on and aren't clued into the supernatural stuff at this point so it's a pretty big contrast that I enjoyed watching. I really also enjoyed when all the characters actually meet up and Scott has to lie a lot about what's actually going on and I also love that this is the episode where Lydia reveals that she knows how to make a self igniting Molotov cocktail. This is also the first episode that starts the theme of someone wanting Scott to kill all his friends odd that this comes up as much as it does. I overall really loved this episode because a lot actually happens in it when I think about it even though it's in a short amount of time and in one location.
5. Community: Remedial Chaos Theory(3.03): This is an episode I really love because it shows a whole bunch of alternate timelines based off of who goes to get the pizza and I really loved seeing how different the interactions where based off of one simple event. This episode was really great and really different which is why I love it.

Top 5Thursday: Top 5 Procedurals shows
Top 5 Thursday is a meme that I create to make lists of things involving tv and movies. I would love for anyone that sees this post to make list of their own whether it's in the comment section or on their own blog.
There's a lot of shows out there that are procedurals shows but while most of them are good for a causal viewer few actually become shows in which the audience actually cares about the characters solving the crimes so this list is about the procedurals shows that I feel are worth watching week to week.
1. Psych: This is a show about a guy who pretends to be psych and him along with his best friend solves crimes and it's actually a really funny show. I love this show because it's really very funny and I love all the characters who are so well defined and in all honesty the show is more about the characters then the crimes they solve. This show is lots of fun and there are quite a few episodes were they take a concept and run with it which makes those episodes especially entertaining.
2. White Collar: This is a show about a charming con-artist who works with the FBI as part of an agreement that allows him to stay out of prison. This show is one that I just love a lot because really love the characters and I really enjoy the cases as well that usually end up involving some kind of con and since I love anything involving con-artist I really love this show. Also each season as an over arching plot as well as cases of the week and I find both parts of the show enjoyable.
3. Elementary: This was pretty much my favorite new show of the year and I love it so much because it does such a good job of having character drama and development mixed in with the mystery of the week which are usually really fascinating as well. I really loved seeing how the relationship between Joan and Sherlock developed over the course of the season and how they both developed as characters as well. I liked that even though most crimes were solved by the end of the episode there was also the Moriarty plot and I really loved the twist they made in that plot as well.
4. Grimm: This one it is quite different then the other shows on the list since it combines crime solving and fairytale creatures but I think that the show does this pretty well and I really enjoy seeing the two aspects come together. This show is also quite different because since there's a fantasy element to the series there are some episodes that don't feel like a procedural at all because there also more arc base episodes that deal more with the mythology of the series then any type of crime. I also really like that this series is still fairly character driven as well.
5. Criminal Minds: This is the show that I watch the least on this list but it's not because I don't love it but because this show has been going on for quite a long time now and I haven't been following it since the beginning so I don't watch as much. This show always has really interesting cases and I especially love how the use of profiling works in the series with the team always basically psychoanalyzing the criminal of the week. I also think this show does a good job of letting the audience get to know the main characters without taking away from the case of the week which is a problem with shows like this one usually have.

Top 5 Thursday: Top 5 Main Characters
Top 5 Thursday is a meme that I create to make lists of things involving tv and movies. I would love for anyone that sees this post to make list of their own whether it's in the comment section or on their own blog.
This week's topic is main characters because I often find that the main characters in most series aren't usually my favorite so I get really happy whenever I love a main character a lot.
1. Tohru Honda(Fruits Basket): Tohru is a character that I love because of the kindness that she extends to everyone and I love that she accepts everyone as they are. She always seems to be able to try and see things from other people's point of view which enables her to give pretty good advice on a situation without even really trying. I love that while she has her own pain she always seems to put other people first and I love that she learned through out the series that she should let herself worry about her own wants and needs sometimes. I just overall really love Tohru's positive attitude.
2. Percy Jackson(Percy Jackson and the Olympians): Percy is a character that I love for being someone who is very heroic with how he has this undying loyalty to those that he cares about and he always does try to do the right thing. I also really love that he's pretty sarcastic as well and I just really love how personality his character seems to have.
3. Syaoran(Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle): I really love Syaoran because he can be so sweet an awkward one moment and then the next he can be brave and determined. I've always really loved this character he is just completely lovable in my opinion and I also find him quite interesting as well with how he tends to never mention anything of his own suffering even when he probably should and how tends to push himself past his limit at times.
4. Sakura Kinomoto(Cardcaptor Sakura): Sakura is a character I love because she's a sweet caring girl who is also very powerful as well. I love Sakura because she spreads kindness to all and she almost always finds a reason to be happy which is something that I enjoy in a character. I also love that while Sakura is just naturally powerful when it comes to magic she's also able to think quite inventively when she is capturing the clow cards.
5. Merlin(Merlin): Merlin is a character that I love so much with how he starts off the show with this optimistic attitude with wanting to use is powers to save people all the time. I love that he's so loyal but I think that this trait pretty much ended up destroying his life because of his loyalty to Arthur he never tried to really make sure that magic became legal again and then he wouldn't have to always pretend to be less than he is. I love that Merlin doesn't seem grasp his own value with how he never thinks twice about sacrificing himself although this is a trait that also saddens me. I also find it interesting that his character pretty much developed in a negative way rather than a positive way with becoming someone who is more ruthless and giving up on his pretty much life long dream of having magic be legal, I find this interesting because it's not something that is usually seen in main characters.
Honorable Mentions:Emily Thorne(Revenge)and Shinji Ikari(Neon Genesis Evangelion)

Top 5 Thursday: Top 5 Movies
Top 5 Thursday is a meme that I create to make lists of things involving tv and movies. I would love for anyone that sees this post to make list of their own whether it's in the comment section or on their own blog.
This week's topic is movies because it's a rather broad one I thought it'd be a good one for the second week of this meme.
1. Thirteen: This has been my favorite movie for years now and I'm not exactly sure why I love it as much as I do. I just really love this coming of age story that is as much about self destruction as it is about growing up. I really loved how as the film went on the lighting changed in order to show how much further into self-destruction Tracy has went and I thought that the acting was really good in this film as well.
2. Donnie Darko: I really love this movie that is kind of hard to explain but really enjoyable. It seems to be a bit of a coming of age story that may or may not also be science fiction or it could be that Donnie is crazy although the creator of the film said he wasn't. It's a bit of an odd film but I really love it.
3. Almost Famous: I really love this coming age story about a teenage boy who gets a chance to report on this rock band and pretty much learns the hard way to not believe that the people he's working with are going to actually give him the material he needs. There's also the plot with Penny Lane a huge fan of the band that has a thing with the lead singer who doesn't really care about her the way she does him which is a rather sad thing but still interesting to watch. I really loved just about everything about this movie it was really well made and acted.
4. Heathers: This a movie that I love a lot because it has so many memorable quotes and it has a very dark sense of humor that I really enjoyed. I love this story about faking suicides of mean popular kids and I love that although this film dealt with such a dark topic it was still really funny.
5. Cardcaptor Sakura: The Sealed Card: I wasn't really sure of what movie to put down at number 5 but after think it over for quite a long time I decided to put this one down. I really loved this movie because I thought it was a good ending to one of my favorite series it brought back almost all the characters there was some romance, some action and the animation was really good. I don't think there was anything about this movie that I disliked so that's why I decided it be good to have it finish off my list.

Top 5 Thursday: Intro. and Top 5 TV Shows
I've decided to make a meme of my own called Top 5 Thursday because I enjoy the idea of making lists each week about things I love and while I do participate in a meme called Top 10 Tuesday that's only about books so I thought it would be fun for me to make up my own meme since then I could make up my own topics. This meme will mostly focus on TV shows and movies but if the topic but if it's not specifically mentioned in the topic of the week feel free to use books or any other form of media you wish. I hope that anyone who sees this will make there own list whether it be in the comments or on their own blog.
Since TV Shows are one of my favorite things I thought it would be a good first topic.
1. The OC: While a lot of people call this show a guilty pleasure I've never felt that way about the show because I've always thought that it was well written and acted and I saw no need to feel any shame about enjoying this show. I love this show so much I own all four seasons on DVD and I still rewatch and I still love it although the first and fourth are my favorite seasons I still enjoy the middle seasons as well. I really loved all of the major characters and I loved the relationships that developed over the course of the show whether they be friendship or romantic relationships. I loved that this was a show that would make me laugh and make me cry. I just really loved this show and I felt really attached to all it's characters so it's my favorite and has been for a long time and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
2. Angel: Angel is a spin-off of Buffy the Vampire Slayer which is a show that I also love but I love Angel more because I love the characters more. I love that while in a lot of ways it's similar to Buffy with the whole trying to rid the world of evil basic plot it's also a lot different because it's darker so the lines between good and bad are harder to define. I also really loved the theme of redemption through out the show and I loved that the main message when it comes to redemption was that it was something that you had to earn and in the end you may never be able to make up for the things you've done but that shouldn't stop you from trying. One of my favorite things about this show are the characters some were original from Buffy but joined this show such as Angel who in this series is actually shown to be a socially awkward dork although he can still be pretty badass or Cordelia who is basically the same person as she was on Buffy but she develops a lot over the course of the show with wanting to save innocent people. There are new characters which I love such as the demon Lorne who is against violence and owns I nightclub and people come to him for advice because he can read a person from hearing them sing or there's Fred a girl who got trapped in another world for years and his also super smart and pretty adorkable as well. I also really loved the big bad of the series Wolfram and Heart which was a firm of evil lawyers.
3. Firefly: This show was very short lived but one of the best I've ever seen my only compliant about this show is that it was too short. I loved the concept of the whole space cowboys thing and I really loved that this was in contrast to the alliance planets which were really high tech but the outer planets were more like the old west. I also really love the characters as well my favorite being River who is a teenager girl who's a genius but she has been driven insane because the alliance played with her brain. Overall this show is great and I think everyone should at least give this show a chance because it's brilliant.
4. Dollhouse: This is another sci-fi show but this one is about people who have their brains wiped for several years so that the their bodies can be used to be imprint by personalities that would fit what the client wants out of a person. The concept of this show is really interesting and somewhat disturbing and I really love the ethical questions this show has. I really loved actually a lot of the characters although it did take a while for them to get developed and I just really love this show and I wished more people stuck with this show past the first few episodes because it's actually one of my favorite shows and season 2 is one of the best seasons of anything I've ever watch.
5. Pushing Daises: This show is most definitely the prettiest show that I've ever seen and it's also very sweet with it's fairytale like romance between Ned and Chuck and how all the characters are strange but endearing. I also really loved how quirky all of the cases where and I loved that this show could mix something like murder with the gorgeous visuals the show has.
