By own my heart I pretty much mean that there character just spoke to me a lot and am very attached to them and for one reason or another their very important to me so I hate seeing hate about them more than I usually do for characters I love. This list is one that includes characters that are very important to me but might not make on my all time favorite character list although some do so I'm taking the chance to talk about them now.
1. Laura Wingfield(The Glass Menagerie): Laura is very important to me because she's the fictional character that I relate to the most she incredibly shy to the point that it effects her life negatively because interacting is far too nerve wracking for her so she shies away from it and therefore she shies away from just about everyone and everything. I also love how she prefers to make up a fantasy world than deal with the real one which is another thing I relate to her with.
2. Sansa Stark(A Song of Ice and Fire): I love Sansa because she is someone I understand and feel for so much and I never expected to have a character like her in a series like this. I love Sansa because she is actually what a lady of her time is suppose to be and she tries to live up to all the lessons she has been taught and all she wants out of life is for it to be nice and pretty like the way it is in songs she was raised on. But sadly Sansa has to see every ideal that she was raised be destroyed in the cruelest way possible and she has to adapt to an environment where she knows that one wrong word can get her killed and she learns fast and she learns well how to play the game and uses her courtesies the very thing that she is mocked for believing she uses not only to survive but also she saved a man's life with it. I love that Sansa still believes that people are generally good even though she has seen so many terrible things and met so many terrible people she doesn't give up on kindness like almost everyone else would and I can't help but admire her for that.
3. Charlie(Perks of Being a Wallflower): Charlie is a character that I love because I just love the way that he thinks with him always wanting the best for everyone even if they aren't someone he knows or someone who is mean to him and that's something I don't see often enough. I love that he loves to read and he writes the letters the story that make up the novel because he needs to someone to just listen and I love that he's a bit damage as well.
4. Tohru Honda(Fruits Basket): I love Tohru because she is just so incredibly kind she can find good in absolutely everyone and she tells them what she sees about them that makes them good and that's really important in this series because so many characters hate themselves and her acceptance of them helps them start their paths to recovery. I love that she has such a big heart and I love that she has trouble with crying for herself or mentioning when things are wrong with her because she doesn't want trouble anyone. I love that she's a bit of a ditz as well and she's pretty girly as well, I really just love everything about her character and I wish that I was more like her because more people should be as kind and accepting as she is.
5. Sakura Kinomoto(Cardcaptor Sakura): Sakura is another kindhearted heroine I love and I love her for being very friendly and optimistic. Sakura is someone who I think is a pretty good representation of a really likable ten year old and I like that she acts her age it's part of her charm. I also like that Sakura is pretty good improvising and thinking about things in a new way which is what leads her to become the new cardmistress. I always love how she treats everyone as a friend even if they try to become rivals with her she's just like no we're friends and they eventually becomes friends I just think it's nice.
6. Caroline Forbes(Vampire Diaries TV): I love Caroline because she's a bit of a control freak, can be a mean girl, started off the series feeling very insecure because she was always consider second best compared to Elena, she's optimistic, she's a really good friend and she cares so much about everyone. I loved Caroline since episode one and I haven't really stopped although I have stopped watching the show, I loved human Caroline where she came off looking bad more often than not because she was always trying so hard because everyone around her made her feel like she wasn't good enough so she spent her time trying to prove them wrong. Later on Caroline became a vampire and she became physically strong and she started to gain self confidence and the people around her started to notice her positive qualities rather than her negative ones and this made her not have to try quite as hard all the time although she can still be a bit of control freak like when she's planning an event. I love Caroline both for who she started out the series as and the person that she became later on.
7. Stiles(Teen Wolf): I don't think I've ever wrote about why I love him as a character before so I might not explain why I love him in a way that makes a lot of sense but I'm going to try. I'll start off with the reasons that pretty much everyone loves first I love that he's sarcastic and that he's a really loyal friend with how he never once thought of abandoning Scott during all the werewolf stuff because he could never leave Scott even though the supernatural world is really dangerous and he has a choice if he wants to be part of it but really if Scott's part of it Stiles is part of it. I love he's human and that he's still useful in the story I love the way that they handle him being a regular human in that they don't make him someone that has to be saved all the time just that he doesn't have special abilities like most everyone else and that not being able to do those kind of things make him feel defenseless sometimes but doesn't mean that he'll ever back down to a villain or even let them know how scared he is. I love that he does a pretty good job as a detective/investigator type and is able to figure out most things, I like that he's smart even though he may not come off that way at first because he tends to ramble and talk without thinking first. I love that he's pretty awkward in a lot of ways and I love that there's really only a small group of people he's close to and he would do anything for them. I love that he always says he's fine and he never is this trait worries me as well but I'm always interested in characters who no matter how much trauma they go through insist that they're fine or not important and he is one of those characters that is like that, I like he worries all the time about the safety of his love ones but think it's ridicules if they worry about him even when they have good reason to. This is getting a bit long and I could say a bit more but I feel I shouldn't here.
8. Lydia Martin(Teen Wolf): I love Lydia because she was first represent as this mean popular girl but she has grown a lot over the course of the series and there's a lot more layers to her than I originally thought there was. I love that Lydia's a secret genius and I love that as time goes on she realizes she doesn't have to hide her intelligence. I love that she is highly fashionable and highly intelligent because I feel that those traits don't mix often enough in fiction. I love that since she's been introduced to the supernatural world she has been able to figure out ways to help and helped saved people better than anyone could ever expected. I love that Lydia decided that she was going to embrace her abilities that she didn't understand in hopes of being able to something to save people rather than just find their bodies. I love that she is much more compassionate than anyone would have suspected and I like that we get to see her good side now more than her bad side and that she seems to care less about being the person people expect her to be now is just herself.
9. Scott McCall(Teen Wolf): I love Scott because he's just the sweetest guy and he's totally adorable but most of all I love that he's heroic. I love that Scott always wants to save everyone no matter what and that he thinks that killing someone is never an answer to a problem and that he always does everything he can to find another more peaceful solution to the problem. I love that Scott cares about people that other's people's happiness is more important than his own and how he'll do whatever he can to help someone out whether they're a friend or a strange. I love that collateral damage is unacceptable to Scott because it's so rare to see a character to care about the nameless victims but Scott cares and makes me love him more. I love that Scott admits that he almost never knows what's he's doing but he's always trying to do the right thing.
10. Alison Argent(Teen Wolf): I love Alison because she wants so badly to prove to herself that she's strong and she is and she can most definitely take care of herself. I like that while Alison is a very good fighter she still feels very much like a teenage girl and she has moments of vulnerability that she way too hard on herself about. I love that Alison found a way to save her friends and I love that she changed her family code to one that wasn't about killing so much as it was about protecting the innocent which is what being hunter is suppose to stand for and I love that Alison proceed to live by that code.

Top 10 Contemporary Books
1. The Perks of Being a Wallflower: This is my favorite book of all time so it's no surprise that it tops this list as well. I love that this is book where we just follow the main character Charlie through his freshmen year of high school because the plot is simple but this allows for a bunch of great character stories through out the book. I also just really love the way that Charlie thinks because it's so lovely and not like any other character that I've ever read.
2. Impulse: I really Ellen Hopkins books in general and this is my favorite book of her's that I have read so far. I love that this story starts with our three main characters recovering from attempting suicide and I love how we slowly learn what led them to the point of wanting to kill themselves. I really love that the three characters each have distinct voices and I really love the poetry form the story is told through.
3. Looking For Alaska: I really love how this story starts off as a going off to boarding school and just general teenage issues but half way through the book the story becomes darker and deeper. I also just really love the characters who had so much life to them and I love the way that the book was written as well.
4. Perfect: This book is a companion novel to Impulse and I like that it gave more depth to one of the characters stories in that book and also introduced us to the stories of 4 new characters. I love that this book dealt with the idea of trying to achieve perfection and how since perfection is impossible it's a very damaging thing to do and some of the characters learned this and other didn't.
5. Heist Society: I really love this fun light story about teenage con-artist that has lots of travel, heists, great characters and a nice dose of romance that at no point overtakes the plot which is a nice change compared to most YA novels.
6. Gallagher Girls: This is a nice fun story about girls spy school that has plenty of great friendship moments and mixes teenage girl and spy pretty much perfectly. As the series goes on the story gets more complicated and darker which I'm really enjoying. There's also a bit of romance that I enjoy quite a bit as well.
7. Tricks: This is a story about five teens who somehow end up having to sell themselves for various reasons and I really enjoyed how different each of their stories were and how they were told as well. I feel like this is a book that sounds a bit strange to say that I loved it but I thought it had a really good story to it although it was by no means a happy one.
8. The Fault in Our Stars: This is a book that is known for it's sweet romance and it's sad ending and while I agree that both those things are great parts of the book I also think that it's wicked sense of humor is also one of the major things that makes me love the book.
9. Tilt: While I always love the beautiful poetic writing of Ellen Hopkins I admit that the reason this book makes the list is only because of Shane's story(I didn't care much for Hardly's and Mikayla's stories). His story went in a way I never expected it to and I really loved him having a crisis of faith and just basically slowly falling apart wanting someone to notice and not wanting to bother anyone with his problems at the same time, it was a complicated story and one that I completely adored.
10. It's Kind of a Funny Story: This is the story about how the pressures of achieving became too much for a boy named Craig and how when he couldn't meet the especially high standards that he set for himself he became depressed to the point of being suicidal so he checked himself into the mental health wing of the hospital and slowly began the process of recovery.

Top 6 Books that Should be Required Reading
1. Fruits Basket: This series is one that I'm sadly sure will never be taught at schools but I really think it should. Fruits Basket is really just bout broken people who end up helping each other fix themselves while learning to also love each other but more importantly accept themselves. This series is one that sounds shallow but is actually incredible deep with having almost every character having a backstory reveal and the fact that about half of the major characters personalities are more or less defense mechanism that they developed at a young age to hide how broken they are. I love that while most of the characters have a sad past and a lot are trapped in a life where they have few choices and most of them think very poorly of themselves, I love that the series is about the characters growing and learning to like themselves and learning how to form meaningful connections with people. I just really love this series and I feel that reading the series makes your life better, I know that sounds a bit dramatic but I feel like it's true. I also feel like this series is well written and could lead to a lot of class discussions and I have wrote an essay on this series before so I think that there's a lot to be learned from this series.
2. Perks of Being a Wallflower: This is another book that means a lot to me and I feel like this would be a good book to be taught in school because I feel like a lot of people could relate to Charlie's struggles to find himself in high school. I also think that reading this book for class would be a good idea because Charlie is such a kindhearted person that I think he'd be someone that people could easily root and be invested in. I feel like a lot could be written about this book because it deals with a lot of issues and that also makes for good discussions as well.
3. Perfect: I think that Perfect would be a good book for students to read because in high school a lot of people are motivated by expectations whether they'd be their own or other people's expectations they feel they have to live up to some ideal and often times people standards are to high to be met which leads to distress. The book Perfect is about four teens who deal with the concept of perfection with what it means to them and how they feel the need to live up to being perfect and the desperate measures they go to trying to achieve the impossible. I think this book would be one that students could relate to which would make them more interested in the book considering that almost all required books are about adults from long ago it's no surprise that students aren't interested or understanding the stories fully. I think this book could lead to some much needed discussions and there's a lot of issues to be talked about.
4. Looking for Alaska: This book is a coming of age story that deals with death and I feel that it's one that is very well written and could be a book that students would enjoy reading and on some levels could relate to. But on other levels I feel that the students could learn much from this book and much could be discussed and written about it as well.
5. Thirteen Reasons Why: This book deals with suicide and it shows that it can be caused by simple everyday actions that seem harmless at the time and I think that this book being taught in schools would lead people to be more thoughtful about how their actions could affect other people.
6. Linger: This may seem like a weird book to put on this list but this book really spoke to me and if you've read my Top 10 Book moments list you know how much I loved it. I really loved how this book dealt with Sam's uncertainty that his cure was real and how he didn't really know how he was suppose to feel now that his curse was lifted and I love that he's still broken from all went through in the past and is still working through it, I just kind of love Sam's storyline in this book because I felt like it was dealing with the whole what happens after happily ever after. I also really loved Cole's mission to get away from himself and I love that he hates himself for being basically what one thinks of as a bad boy because those people are actually awful people and he knows this but doesn't seem to know how to be anyone else so he'll settle for getting out of his own head. I also really loved Isabel's whole thing with feeling guilty about her brother's death and how she wants to start a self destructive relationship with Cole. I think this book has a lot going on in it and I feel like there's much to discuss and write about.

Top 10 Best/Worst Book to Screen adaptions
Best
1.Game of Thrones: I think that the show follows the books pretty well over all and all of the actors are fantastic and the production values are really high which makes the show even more enjoyable. I overall love both the tv and book series and I'm glad that this series has such a good adaption.
2. Perks of Being a Wallflower: Perks of Being a Wallflower is my favorite book and it's told through letters so I was really nervous about it being made into a movie although I did feel a bit better once I heard it was going to be an indie film and I saw the trailer. In the end it turned out my fears were unfounded and the movie was almost as good as the book and I have no really complaints about this film which makes me very happy.
3. The Hunger Games: While I'm not a huge fan of the series I think that the film stayed pretty close to the book and I thought that the acting was great through out the film as well.
4. Cardcaptor Sakura: While the anime added a lot of things to series and the ending was quite a bit different as well I thought that it overall kept the series basically the same and I enjoyed pretty much everything that was added in the anime. I love Cardcaptor Sakura it's my favorite anime of all time and recommend it to everyone even if anime isn't usually your thing.
5. 10 Things I Hate About You: This movie is an updated version of Taming of the Shrew and while I think this movie is just a plain great movie in general I'm also amazed that they were actually able to make Taming of the Shrew funny rather than just really unfunny and out dated like the original play. I also think that the movie has a great cast as well and it makes me laugh a lot.
6. Bridge to Terabithia: This is another case were I love the movie but I hated the book but with this movie it sticks really close to the book but the movie just worked for me in a way that the book never did. I loved the movie because it made me really emotionally invested in the characters and it's the reason I'm a fan of Anna Sophia Rob and Josh Hutchson as well.
Worst
1. Percy Jackson: I don't think the movie is bad but I think it's a terrible adaption since it doesn't really follow the plot of the book at all, leaves out a few important characters as well as change others personalities and ages up all the characters by quite a bit. It looks like the second movie will follow the book more closely which makes me happy since Percy Jackson is one of my favorite book series but the first movie really disappointed me so I'm a bit hesitant to believe that the second will be better.
2. A Series of Unfortunate Events: I actually really love this movie but it doesn't follow the books all that well and it combines the first three books and doesn't even completely keeps what happens in the books in order with having the play with the wedding happen after they Violet, Klaus and Sunny had lived with Monty and Josephine. Although I really loved Emily Browning as Violet and Liam Akin as Klaus and I loved the audio commentary with Lemony Snicket which is hilarious and you should watch if you haven't already so I'm in no way unhappy that the film was made and the thing that actually makes me sad about this film is that they never made a second one. Although I would love if there was someday a film that followed the books much closer.
3.Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle: I love the manga it's one of my favorite series of all time even though the end of the series is hell a confusing I still love it but the anime tv series is just so bad the art isn't very good and it doesn't really follow the storyline all that well and adds in quite a few filler worlds. In all honesty the best thing that came out of the anime was the soundtrack which was amazing sadly the show wasn't.
4. Twilight: The movies were some of the worst made films that I have ever seen, the acting was horrible even though I had seen the majority of the cast in other things in which they were good, the writing was awkward, makeup and lighting were just weird and the directing wasn't good either. There is really nothing nice I can say about this movie because it was just badly made.

Top 10 Books I Read Before I was a Blogger
1. The Perks of Being a Wallflower: This is my favorite book of all time it's just written so beautifully because the main character Charlie who I love just has this beautiful way of thinking that is so different from anything else I've ever read. The story of this book of how Charlie an awkward freshmen gets through his year is both heartwarming and heartbreaking and I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
2. Impulse: This is the first book of Ellen Hopkins I've ever read and it's also my favorite, this book of course tells it story through poetry just like all her other books. This is the story of three teens recovering from their suicide attempts, I love all three of the characters and I love how we see all of their stories from their point of view and I think that all the characters have great depth so it was easy to care about them.
3. The Book Thief: This is a book that is heartbreaking and wonderfully written. The story makes you care about the characters even though the narrator death tells you very early on that almost all of them will be dead by the story.
4. Reading in the Dark: This is a book that I have read many times because it just grabbed me, it's about a young boy who grows up and learns more and more of his family's dark secrets which actually leads him to feeling more distant from his family as time goes on. I love this story of a messed up family and I just love seeing how being everyone's secret keeper begins to weigh on him and how knowing his mother's secret pretty much destroy any kind of positive relationship they could ever have.
5. The Glass Menagerie: This is another story of a screwed up family but it's in an entirely different way. The mother tends to be over dramatic and can be too pushy to her children, the son Tom wants to runaway from his family like his father did years ago and the daughter Laura can barely function at all when it comes to communicating to people do to extreme shyness. I love this play mostly because I've never related to a character more than I related to Laura Wingfield.
6. Percy Jackson and the Olympians series: This is my favorite book series of all time, it has great characters and I love the different relationships that developed between them. I also love that there's quite a bit of action in each book and that each book moves it's own plot and the overall plot of series along at the same time. I also love the great sense of humor that the series has.
7. The Looking Glass Wars: This is great series and a great way to retell the story of Alice in Wonderland. I love the characters and the world of Wonderland and I just love the series overall.
8. A Series of Unfortunate Events: I love that this book has a dark sense of humor, that it values a character being smart and that the author regularly tells you to stop reading the books because this is a sad story, I find this series different from anything else I've ever read and I think that's a good thing.
9. Uglies series: This was my first dystopian series and it's still one of my favorites it had a good plot and an interesting world. I also have always found the relationship between Tally and Shay to be fascinating.
10. Alice in Wonderland: I love this book because Alice is a great character with her odd thoughts and the world of wonderland is crazy in the best way possible. I also love the sense of humor the book has.
Top 10 Fictional Guys I have Crushes on
1. Syaoran(Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle): I love Syaoran because he is sweet and cute also I just love that he would do anything for Sakura but never expects anything from her which is surprisingly not that common in fiction which is sad of course. I also love that he can be a bit of a geek when it comes to archeology and that he has this nice shy vibe to him with how he blushes when he gets embarrassed.
2. Ned the Piemaker(Pushing Daisies): I love Ned because has this vibe and he's also pretty socially awkward which is a trait that I find extremely attractive. I love that when he's nervous that he tends to talk too fast and that a lot of things seem to make him nervous and I love that he doesn't really touch people do to his gift/curse,whatever you want to call it. I love that he doesn't care that he can never touch the woman he loves because he loves just being able to have her be part of his life. Also he makes delicious pies.
3. Merlin(Merlin BBC): I just want to be clear that I mean the one who is played by Colin Morgan because I don't want anyone think I have a crush on an old guy. I love Merlin because he can be really sweet and he protects the people he cares about with his own life although I do think he doesn't value his own life nearly as much as he should. I love his smile because it's just so bright and beautiful, also I just love that he has a bit of an adorkable vibe to him. I love that he seems to be able to pick extremely beautiful bouquets flowers(this I think only comes up in 2 episodes and 1 was in a deleted scene but still really pretty flowers). I also love that he has a snarky sense of humor as well.
4. Sam Roth(Wolves of Mercy Falls series): I love Sam because he's sweet, artistic and emotional damaged. I love that Sam values being a human so much and that this leads him appreciating being able to do things such as think, read, make and listen to music. I find almost nothing more attractive then a guy that values thoughts and I've never met a character that loves being able to think the way that Sam does. I love that he is still haunted by his past but he is trying to move past it though it doesn't seem like the kind of thing that he'll ever fully move past but I like that he's trying.
5. Charlie(Perks of Being a Wallflower): I just love the way that Charlie thinks, I love that he cares about whether people are truly happy and how he wants everyone to be happy. I love that Charlie watches the world around him more than he actually does things. I love that Charlie wants to be there for the people he cares about but doesn't really know how to give them the support that they need. I know that Charlie isn't exactly a character that one might think of as a love interest but I keep wanting to write fanfiction about him and Laura Wingfield, I don't know if I'll ever do that.
6. Rory Williams(Doctor Who): Rory is exactly the kind of guy every girl should want to be with his extremely loyal and he cares about Amy more than everything else in the entire universe. I also love Rory because he's sweet, pretty logical about most everything he sees and he's brave. I pretty much think that if you watched him on Doctor Who you know why I love him.
7. Stefan Salvatore(Vampire Diaries TV): I want to point out that I've only ever seen the tv series and I have no intention of reading the books and I that I know he's not a perfect person and that I don't hate Damon, I just don't think he'd be a good boyfriend. I love Stefan because he wants to be better than he is for himself not just to get someone else's approval. I love Stefan because he listens really well what I mean by this is the times in which he uses Elena's own words in order to get through to her or how at the end of 2.02 he took Elena to go on the ferries wheel because she mentioned earlier in the episode that she want to ride to the top of the ferries wheel and have her boyfriend kiss her. I love that cares about other people and that he protects those that he cares about. I like that he was always pretty good at giving emotional support and letting people make their own choices. I also love that he now wants to get out of the toxic relationships in his life and it makes me sad to know that he'll never succeed. To be honest there's a lot of other reasons I love Stefan as a character but those reasons don't really go with the theme of being a good boyfriend so I'm going to stop now.
8. Augustus Waters(The Fault in Our Stars): I just love the way in which he tries to find the metaphor in everything and that he has a great love for big romantic gestures. I also love that he likes to live for the moment and I just basically love everything about Augustus Waters even his name.
9. W.W. Hale the fifth(Heist Society): I love Hale because he's charming and even though he's rich he'd rather steal an expensive painting than buy one which is something that just makes him all the more interesting to me. I also like that there is a certain loneliness to him when it comes to his family.
10. Cole St.Clair(Wolves of Mercy Falls series): I would never date a guy like Cole because as Cole pretty much tells us that he almost always treats people awfully. But I can't help but be attracted to him because he's both a rock star and scientist because he wants to stop ruining people but he doesn't have clue has to how to do it. I'm attracted to him because he's a wreck, I like that he can come off as arrogant even though he hates himself. I like Cole mostly because he's interesting because he's what you expect but at the same time he isn't.
2. Ned the Piemaker(Pushing Daisies): I love Ned because has this vibe and he's also pretty socially awkward which is a trait that I find extremely attractive. Top 10 Books I Recommend the Most
1. Fruits Basket: This is my favorite series of all time because it has the most amazing character development that I have ever seen and I love all the characters and the way that they work through all of their issues and how they have to work really hard to earn their happy ending. I also love the way that relationships develop through out the series and I love that the series doesn't just value the romantic relationships but also the friend and family relationships as well. I love that the relationships develop as the characters develop and that for the romantic ones the series wait to get the characters together until they are emotionally ready for a relationship, this is the only series that I have ever seen that allows the characters become fully ready for a relationship before entering one so therefore the relationships in this series are better than in most others. I also just love that there was so much wonderful foreshadowing through out the series which makes rereading the series really fun. I love that this is a series that has made me laugh, cry and squeal over cuteness of my favorite couples.
2. Perks of Being a Wallflower: I just really love reading Charlie's story of how is freshmen year of high school went because I love the character Charlie and how he sees the world and how interacts with the world or how he has trouble interacting with the world. I love this book because Charlie is one of my favorite characters of all time and being in his head is a place that I always love to be even when it gets sad, dark and a bit scary in a psychological emotional way. I just think this whole book is perfect and I just love reading it over and over again.
3. Percy Jackson and the Olympians series: I love this series because it has great characters who are all different but equally lovable. I love the plot because it involves so many great adventures and because each book is building up to the last one but also has it's own plot. I love that the books have a great sense of humor as well.
4. Cardcaptor Sakura: I just love everything about this series. I love the characters and I love the relationships that they have with each other and I love how the story values all different kinds of love. I love how there is magic through out the series but the mundane stuff seems just as interesting if not more so. I love that the series is just so cute and sweet and never fails to put me in a good mood.
5. The Darkest Powers series: This is an amazing action packed series that deals with teenagers with special abilities and how people want to lock them up and how they must escape from them while still learning how to control their own abilities. I also love that even though there is romance in the series it always takes a backseat to the plot.
6. Tokyo Babylon: This is an amazing series that questions a lot of things in modern society as well as human nature in general and has a theme about no one but the person who is experiencing pain has the right to say how much pain they are in. I also love all of the main characters and their relationships with each other. I love how the series ends on such a sad note and that it wasn't afraid at all with leaving the readers feeling slightly depressed.
7. Secret Circle series: I love this series because it deals with teenage witches in a way that I would assume teenager who are witches would act and I like learning all about their witchcraft as well. I think that the series has a great plot that made it almost impossible for me to stop reading it. I also really love the characters as well.
8. Impulse: I love this book because it's so beautifully written and it gives all the characters so much depth. I loved all three main characters and I liked seeing them try top better themselves and even liked but was sad about one of them failing to recover.
9. The Glass Menagerie: I just love this play because it's about this family that is quite messed up which makes reading about them very interesting. I relate to the character of Laura Wingfield so much it hurts so this play will always hold a special place in my heart.
10. Gallagher Girls series: I just really love this spy girl series because I love the characters, the plot and all the friendship that the girls share. I also think the series has a pretty good sense of humor.

Movie Review: The Perks of Being a Wallflower
The Perks of Being a Wallflower Review
The Perks of Being a Wallflower is based off of my favorite book of the same title and it's a boy named Charlie(Logan Lerman) and how he deals with his first year of high school. Charlie as a problem with participating in things and his problem is helped when he befriends Sam(Emma Watson) and Patrick(Ezra Miller). Through Sam and Patrick Charlie is introduced to a lot of different things and new people. Charlie always develops a crush on Sam but never real acts on it because he feels like she might not like that. Charlie also deals with problems having to due with his Aunt Helen's death from when he was a little boy and by the end of the film he remembers some rather disturbing things about their relationship.
I really loved this movie and I felt like it was a great adaption of the book which I also love even though one storyline was almost entirely cut out it didn't detract from the overall quality of the story. I'm especially glad that Logan Lerman did such a great job portraying Charlie and his awkwardness, sincere kindness and emotional breakdown at the end of the film, because these are all part of the reason Charlie was one of my favorite characters of all time in the book and this film brought Charlie to life perfectly. I thought that everyone else also gave great performances in the movie as well and I overall loved this movie. Please tell me your thoughts about this movie or about the book or both.

I just love the story and the character of Charlie so much. This book is just beautifully written and is filled many great quotes and moments. "I hate you."
My sister said it different than she said it to my dad. She meant it with me. She really did.
"I love you,” was all I could say in return.

30 Days of Books Challenge: Day 15: Favorite male character
Day 15: Favorite male character: Charlie from Perks of Being a Wallflower
I love Charlie because he's insightful even though he's still pretty naive. I love that he truly just wants everyone to be happy and I love that he worries that people aren't as happy as they could be. I love that he prefers to watch people and that he has problems actually participating in life in general. I liked that he's damage but he doesn't blame anyone else for the way he is even though he could. I love the way he thinks because he has some of the most beautiful thoughts I've ever seen written. I pretty much just love everything about him.

Fangirl Friday 11
Fangirl five Friday is a weekly meme host Nancy Drew is my Homegirl and what it's meme that has you list the top five things you've been fangirling about this week.
1. Game of Thrones: The Game of Thrones season finale aired this week and it was a great episode but less epic than last week's. In this episode Deanerys actually has a pretty interesting storyline with how when she goes to the house of the undying she sees walks through a bunch magic induced scenery that include a snow covered throne room, the north side of the Wall and a tent which saw Knal Drogo and her baby. She also got her dragons back who have learned how breath giant flames and then she and her khalser threw Xaro and her traitorous handmaid in his empty safe then stole all his gold and jewels in order to buy a ship. I also love that Margaery is back and one step closer to becoming the queen, I think she'll be very good a manipulating Joffrrey to get what she wants since she seems to know what she's doing. I also loved seeing how happy Sansa was after she found out she no longer had to marry Joffrey. I'm glad that Tyrion survived the battle and I hope that he finds a way to get back on the small council because he's right about how the political manipulation game is what he's good at. I think it was a bad idea for Robb to get married because of the spoilers I heard for book three. I also loved seeing Jaime and Brienne again because I just find Jaime really entertaining. I was really sad that master Luwin died and that Winterfell was burnt. I find the White Walker army to be very frightening and I think that the Night's Watch is in need of some wildfire.
2. Teen Wolf: Teen Wolf's second season premiered this week with 2 new episodes and I enjoyed both of them. I'm really excited about this season because it starts off a few days after last season's finale and a lot of new interesting plot developments have already appeared. I also loved seeing all the characters again especially Stiles and I liked that we were introduced to a few new ones. I also love that Price Peterson of TV.com(who also photo recaps Vampire Diaries and Secret Circle) is photo recapping each episode this season.
3. Perks of Being a Wallflower trailer: Perks of Being a Wallflower is my favorite book and from how the trailer looks it seems like the movie is staying true to the book. I'm just really happy the trailer looks good.
4. Secret Circle: I finally watched the Secret Circle finale and the finale was really good and made me even more sad that the show was cancelled. I thought that the stories of all the main characters as well as the plots were wrapped up nicely but I also liked there was some set up for a season 2 that will sadly never come. I will miss this series greatly because I loved all the main characters(expect Nick but he's been off the show for a long time), I love shows about magic and I liked the friendships between the girls(because I feel there's not enough strong girl girl friendships on tv).

My favorite Book Quotes
1. Perks of Being a Wallflower:
"I hate you."
My sister said it different than she said it to my dad. She meant it with me. She really did.
"I love you,” was all I could say in return.
"You're a freak, you know that? Everyone says so. They always have."
"I'm trying not to be."
"I walk around the school hallways and look at the people. I look at the teachers and wonder why they're here. If they like their jobs. Or us. And I wonder how smart they were when they were fifteen. Not in a mean way. In a curious way. It's like looking at all the students and wondering who's had their heart broken that day, and how they are able to cope with having three quizzes and a book report on top of that. Or wondering who did the heart breaking. And wondering why. Especially since I know that if they went to another school the person who had their heart broken would have had their heart broken by somebody else, so why does it have to be so personal?"
"I almost didn’t get an A in math, but then Mr. Calo told me to stop asking “why?” all the time and just follow the formulas. So, I did. Now, I get perfect scores on all my tests. I just wish I knew what the formulas did. I honestly have no idea."
2. Alice in Wonderland:
"If you drink much from a bottle marked 'poison' it is almost certain to disagree with you, sooner or later."
"Curiouser and curiouser."
'But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
'Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: 'we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.'
'I don't think —'
'Then you shouldn't talk,' said the Hatter.'
"They're dreadfully fond of beheading people here; the great wonder is, that there's any one left alive!"
'And how many hours a day did you do lessons?' said Alice, in a hurry to change the subject.
'Ten hours the first day,' said the Mock Turtle: 'nine the next, and so on.'
'What a curious plan!' exclaimed Alice.
'That's the reason they're called lessons,' the Gryphon remarked: 'because they lessen from day to day.'
3. Fruits Basket:
" I want to share with her all of the weakness in my overly weak self. And I feel like she would let me. Like she would accept me. It's too much. Such a person..I feel sorry for her. Kind people are clung to. They're sought out and taken advantage of. By people like me. That's why I won't get them involved. I can do it on my own. I will keep running on my own. I don't have to be understood. I don't care if people hate me. If I'm alone. I promised myself that I wouldn't cry but I'm going to cling to you." (vol.14)
"When I was very, very small my world consisted of Akito, my mother and whatever scenery I could see beyond the door. Those things and nothing else." (Vol.15)
" In the unknown depths of my heart, something cried out. I wanted to see him. I didn't want to see him. I want to hold him and yet I run away. Loved and hated."(Vol.15)
" I didn't want them to look at me with eyes of indifference or eyes of hate." (Vol.15)
" It's true. This isn't a world enveloped in light. And yet there's more to it than that. The world is more than darkness." (Vol.15)
"I wanna burn it into my memory and then forget it all."(Vol.16)
"I'm like a doll that's missing it's parts. A broken doll that can't become fully human. A defect."(Vol.16)
" It's not like she took away all my pain There's no way she could fill that chasm. But that doesn't matter. I couldn't expect her to 'fix' me. What's important is that she's not afraid to be by my side. That she'll get excited about tiny things and smile and be happy when we're together. " (Vol.11)
4. Tricks:
" Less than patiently The Lady waits. Pretty china white demands I listen, and hold her in my arms. She is my only friend, my one ally against the low throbbing ache inside my brain, against the loneliness my heart was not prepared to hold. "
5. Impulse:
"I wanted her to fill the empty spaces left by a father who never once praised me, 'friends' who used me an ice princess mom who raised me with glass kisses."
"I hate you."

Top 10 Book Characters
1. Charlie(Perks of Being a Wallflower): He just has this way of thinking that comes off as sweet, innocent and yet wise. I just love that he truly wants everyone to be happy and that he doesn't like to place blame on someone when something bad happens. I also like that he also struggles with some form of depression at times because it gives him more depth and the thoughts that come out when he's in this condition are some of my favorites. I also like that he's a bit of an outcast and that he has a tendency to over think things. I love Charlie mainly for the way he thinks which is why he's also my favorite narrator.
2. Percy Jackson(The Percy Jackson and the Olympians series): I love Percy for basically having all of the qualities of a good hero, being brave, his family and friends safety are the most important thing to him and he's generally a nice person. I also like that while he has the qualities of the hero he also very much a teenager as well with how he makes mistakes and doesn't always think things through. I also love that he has this sarcastic sense of humor that really comes across while reading his thoughts through the narration.
3. Nico Di Angelo(The Percy Jackson and the Olympians series): Nico is pretty much tied with Percy but Percy got ranked higher because he's the main character. I've loved Nico since I first met him in The Titan's Curse as an adorable boy who is obsessed with this card game but is personality changes quite a bit in through out the series. I loved him in the The Battle of the Labyrinth when he was trying to bring his sister back from the dead and hanging out with this ghost guy. I loved him of course in the final book as well and I like that in the last two books that Percy mentions that even though Nico is younger than him he kind of scares him probably due to him being the son of Hades.
4. Laura Wingfield(The Glass Menagerie): I love Laura for being one of the few fictional characters that I can actually say that I relate to. I love her for being this painfully shy girl that rather play with her menagerie and create her own imaginary world than face the really one.
5. Luna Lovegood(The Harry Potter series): I love her for being delightfully crazy and I just get really excited anytime she shows up. I also like that she's a Ravenclaw.
6. Alice(Alice in Wonderland/Through the Looking Glass): I love Alice because she sees the world differently the most people and I love the way she takes everything that happens in Wonderland like well it's a little bit odd but I guess that's just how things are here.
7. Tony(Impulse): I love him because he had quite a bit of depth and I loved the way he narrated things. I also like that he thought things could get better and I like that he seemed to be very friendly.
8. Connor(Impulse): I loved the way he narrated and I thought his story was interesting. I also liked that it kind of seemed like there was not really any hope for him that things would get better once he goes home. I don't really know how to explain why I love him at the moment.
9. Ginger(Tricks): I love Ginger because she seems to have a good head on her shoulders and I love that she knows were to draw the line. I also like how she loves and takes care of her younger siblings and I love that even though she's had a hard life she doesn't turn to drugs or alcohol for comfort.
10. Faye Chamberlin(The Secret Circle series): I love her being the most entertaining kind of bitch there is and I also love that she's a witch on top of it. I love the way it's described that she looks and how she has this rebellious nature. I also love the way she's introduced by reading a poem and than lighting it on fire in the middle of class. I love her in both the books and the TV show although she's quite different in the show.
Top 10 books that have distracted me from school work
1. The Lying Game series: Since I first started reading the first book and it hasn't stopped entertaining me yet and I'm always dying to figure out each of the mysterious. Also I read each of the books in a week or less.
2. Heist Society series: I just love all the characters, the heists and cons that go on in this series. I love the world that has been created for this series and so I have trouble pulling myself away from these books.
3. Perks of Being a Wallflower: I love the way that Charlie thinks and I could read his thoughts forever.
4. The Secret Circle series: I'm not exactly sure why I'm so addicted to these books but I enjoyed the characters, plot and I found myself unable to put the book down until I finished The Power.
5. Percy Jackson and the Olympians series: I love Percy as a narrator and I found the plot to be always interesting, so I've always had trouble putting these books down.
6. Perfect: I love the way Ellen Hopkins write and I love three out of the four narrators and I always felt the need to know what happens next.
7. Tricks: Once again I love Ellen Hopkins writing style. I was invested in all of the characters story lines and I felt sympathy for all of the main characters.
8.Thirteen Reasons Why: This book has an extremely interesting concept and by the end of the book you're just far too emotionally invested to even think of stopping for even a second.
9. The Book Thief: This book tells a good story but it's the way it's told that really makes it impossible for me to put down.
10. The Summoning: Unlike the other books on my list this one started out rather slow, so slow in fact I considered quitting this book but I'm glad I didn't. The last hundred pages or so make it impossible to put this book down or to wait patiently to read the next book, let's just say there's plenty of plot twist towards the end of this book.

Top 10 Books that would be good for a Book Club
I never actually been in a book club so I'm not exactly sure how they work.
1.White Oleander: I love this book I think it's a good coming of age novel due to all the messed up aspects of Astrid's up bringing and I've always wanted to talk to someone about this brilliant book but I don't know anyone who read it. I think it would be a good book club book because in the back of the copy I read there were question to ask at book clubs.
2. Reading in the Dark: I've already mention how much I loved this book several times on this list but I also think it would be a good book for a book club because one could discuss how secrets can destroy someones lives or hold it together depending on who knows them. Then it could also be discussed who knows what and for how long have they know this secret. Then of course it could be discussed if it's better for everyone if no one every learns the truth.
3.The Book Thief: I'm sure this is or was a popular book club book and I feel there's a lot to discuss and I love this book.
4. Uglies Series: This is one of my favorite book series and I feel that there could be many discussion about how much our society values physical beauty and if the events of this series seems possible.
5. Impulse/Perfect: I love both of this book and since Perfect is a companion novel to Impulse I think it makes sense that they should be talked about together. Both of this books deal with the different pressures that teens feel their under and the either the need to live up to impossible standards or how someone feels when they feel there's nothing left in life that makes getting up in the morning seem worth it. I also love the way it's written with multiple narrators and in verse.
6.Fruits Basket: This series is my favorite and has some of the best developed characters so I would love to psychoanalyse each and everyone of them.
7.1984: I loved this book and I feel that there is a lot to be discussed with all the censorship, brainwashing and psychological torture Big Brother practices in order to stay in control.
8. Perks of Being a Wallflower: I love this book and I feel that there is a lot of topics that can be discussed with this book and I feel that the world would be a better place if more people thought the way that Charlie does.
9. Identical: This book has extremely well developed characters and deals with a number of interesting topics which would all lead to interesting discussions.
10. Percy Jackson and the Olympians series: I love this series and I'm sure that I could find a lot to talk about with people who have actually read the books.
