TV Review: Romance is a Bonus Book

Romance is a Bonus Book Review
Romance is a Bonus Book is about Kang Dan-I who is  thirty seven years old and recently divorced with a daughter, Dan-I is having trouble finding a job since she took several years off of work to raise her daughter. Dan-I is stuck in a very bad position when it comes to finding a job since because of her gap in employment she's not qualified for upper level jobs but on the other hand entry level jobs won't hire her because she is overqualified for those jobs. Dan-I's living situation becomes so bad that her house ends up getting not just foreclosed on but actually ends up getting torn down so this means she's left with pretty much nothing with nowhere to live and this leads her to secretly living in her friend Cha Eun Ho. Eun Ho is five years younger than Dan-I and he is writer and a chief editor at a publishing firm, he has known Dan-I since he was fairly young after she saved his life and he visited her frequently in the hospital after that. Eun Ho has had a crush on Dan-I for years but she only sees him as a friend or a younger brother.

The publishing company that Eun Ho works at ends up looking to hire people to work for them from any background regardless of experience or age which leads to Dan-I ending up applying for that job but deletes her previous job history in marketing and her college education because she's learned from all of her rejections that a job would feel more comfortable hiring her if they believe that she is beneath them. Dan-I ends up getting the job which is great for her and she ends up being the best new hire they end up getting both because of her experience and how hard working she is. Dan-I applying for the job obviously tips Eun Ho off that something is going on with Dan-I since he knows that she was lying on her resume which leads to her telling him about everything bad that has been happening for the past year, Dan-I and Eun Ho end up both living and working together.

This series is one that has a lot of love for the book publishing industry and shows how hard getting a book to be published can be and how much time and energy everyone who works on it puts into it. This series is one that has a lot of good supporting characters as well who all get their own subplots that you'll end up getting invested in has well that makes the series even better. Overall I really liked this series. Please tell me your thoughts in the comment section below.

TV Review: The End of F***ing World Season 2

The End of F***ing World Season 2 Review
=

The Second season of The End of F***ing World takes place two years after the first season with Alyssa and James still dealing with the consequences of the events from season one. Alyssa
only ended up getting community service but she is still also dealing or rather not dealing with the trauma of Clive attacking her before he was killed which has left Alyssa to feeling numb. In an attempt to make herself feel something different Alyssa decides to get married to this guy named Todd that she doesn't even know that well. James was shot at the end of last season and that injury nearly killed him, James had to actually relearn how to walk again during the time between the two seasons. James is still very much in love with Alyssa but he broke up with her because her mom convinced him that he would just make her life worse so he has stayed away from her since breaking up with her in a letter. After James died after the two of them reconnecting it has left him without a purpose until he was sent a bullet with his name on it has a threat and then he decides to find Alyssa to make sure she is okay assuming she also got a bullet which she did but she wasn't too alarmed by it.

The bullets were sent by Bonnie a young woman from an emotional abusive household who believed that she and Clive where in love and that James and Alyssa killed him without reason and therefore Bonnie is setting out to kill the both of them. Bonnie ends up lucking out on getting be alone with the two of them after Alyssa had ran out on her wedding and ran into James which is led them to go on another directionless road trip and they pick up Bonnie who's pretending to be a hitchhiker.

This season is one that is mostly dealing with the aftermath of season one and it does excellent job at doing this and explore both characters and how they've changed since we last saw them, the show also does a good job at getting us to understand where Bonnie is coming from even though we know how wrong her way of thinking is. I liked that we got to see Alyssa and James reconnect with each other and I liked that we could see all the ways they were the same and the ways in which their relationship is different know that they are different people then they were when we first met them. The acting, directing, writing and music choices were great all around as well. Overall this was a great second season and a good ending to the show. Please tell me your thoughts on this show in the comment section below.

TV Review: Legacies: This Year Will Be Different(2.02)

Legacies: This Year Will Be Different(2.02)Review
  • I'm not surprised that Hope decided to track the monster from the end of the last episode and I think having it go to Mystic Falls high school is a good way to get her to attend school there at least for part of this season.
  • I'm surprised that Alaric was able to find a job as the principle at Mystic Falls considering the timing of him loosing his job and this school needing a new principle worked out so well for him.
  • I like that Lizzie wants to keep herself open to new possibilities this year and that she wants to focus on the present rather than worry about the future. I like that when Kaleb overhears Lizzie saying this year is year of yes that he sees as MG's chance to get her to go out with him.
  • I'm pretty sure that I don't like the new headmaster but I'm sure that I'm not suppose to so that's okay.
  • I like that Landon is popular now since he's credit with destroying malivore and I find it funny how one guy asks for him to autograph a picture of a phoenix and a girl uses magic to say hey to him.
  • I like that Josie and Landon are going on their first date and that there happy to go on it since they are sweet together although I think that Josie getting sad with Landon making one of jokes he makes when he's uncomfortable and taking what he says seriously is another thing that makes me think their relationship won't last long since they don't seem to really get each other.
  • Josie being thrown off by Landon having his schedule printed out is something that clearly brothers her because she wants him to need her. There is also a bit of awkwardness between the two when they Landon tries to kiss her and Josie tries to hug him before they separate as well.
  • I like that when MG was hesitating about actually asking Lizzie out that Kaleb told him that now was his time and he should do it.
  • I find it worrying how the headmaster is proclaiming that they are better than humans and need to work harder this year to prove that because this line of thinking is generally ones that villains have in these stories.
  • I think that it makes the most sense for Hope to start school at Mystic Falls and I like that Alaric offered to talk to her if she's having any problems Hope of course isn't going to open to him right now though.
  • I like that Hope is befriend by a girl named Maya after she sees Hope crying in the bathroom over what she thinks is boy problems and right away offers to help with a makeover to make the guy jealous.
  • I'm a little surprised at how quickly Hope reveals herself to be not what she says she is to Alaric by attacking him when he finds in the boy's locker room when she's looking for the monster.
  • I like that Hope tells Alaric that she's a vampire hunter and that she's tracking a monster that she thinks is a troll and has been for week as a way to explain how she attacked him and what she was doing in the locker room.
  • I like that Alaric doesn't want to involve any more kids in monster hunting because he doesn't want to put anymore in danger but there's no way that Hope is going to back off this but since he doesn't remember her there's no way for him to know that.
  • I like that MG asked Lizzie out and that she said yes but she doesn't seem to happy about it so it doesn't look like this relationship is really going to get started anytime soon.
  • I think it's concerning that Josie gave a nose bleed to the girl that was flirting with Landon in class because go right to violence even minor violence when you're jealous is never a good sign.
  • I think that both Josie and Landon are pretty awkward and insecure which I think is going to cause them problems when communicating with each other because neither of them seem comfortable with taking the lead in their relationship.
  • I liked that Hope and Alaric unintentional ended up working together to take down the troll and I like that Alaric found out that Hope is also a witch.
  • I was excited that Maya found out about the troll but I wasn't that surprised that she was just compelled to forget after Alaric called MG over to do so.
  • I liked that MG told Alaric that he is always going to be his headmaster even though he isn't working at his school anymore.
  • I liked that after finding out what Hope really is that Alaric suggest that he goes to his old school since it's school for the supernatural and that after that she rejects that offer he asks for her help with killing any future monster that might come now that it seems like the attacks her staring again, Hope rejects this as well.
  • I like that Lizzie is upset when MG is late for their study date although I think it's more because she thinks it would be embarrassing to be stood up by him rather than she actually likes him.
  • I think that Sebastian is very mysterious with the whole showing up out of nowhere, seeming like he's from another time and him having no idea where he is or how he got there, I'm interested in learning more about him.
  • I think it's cute how Lizzie is smitten with Sebastian right away and I'm wondering if the feeling is mutual between them or if he's up to something.
  • I like that Alaric figures that him and Hope must have fought together in the past and I like that he figures out that Hope was erased by malivore. I'm sad that Hope doesn't want to tell him the truth because it would make leaving harder but I like that Alaric is asking her not to leave.
  • I'm not surprised that the troll that might not be a troll isn't dead yet because it was killed far too early in the episode.
  • I thought that MG's first two attempts at speeches to get Lizzie to date him were laughable bad but I thought the last one about how he wants to date because he knows all of her and likes all of her and believes that she deserves to be with someone who fully sees her.
  • I'm kind of wondering if the things the monsters are going to be drawn to this time is going to be Hope since malivore wants her destroyed.
  • I think that Josie not telling Landon what is wrong even though she knows it's hurting their relationship is a bad sign for both there relationship or any relationship that Josie will have since you have to be willing to tell your partner when something is wrong.
  • I find it interesting that Sebastian tells Lizzie that they are both drawn too each other but he feels it would be bad for her if they were to start a relationship for some reason which just makes me more intrigued about who and what he is. Also the sexual tension between the two them is a lot and I'm really into it.
  • It's kind of ridiculous how Landon doesn't notice Hope and Alaric killing the Cyclopes behind him since he's listening to music.
  • I really liked how romantic the shot of Hope and Landon meeting each other's eyes across the park was as the ash of the monster drifts away.
  • I felt bad for MG when Lizzie was telling him about Sebastian and how a big part of the appeal is that he has no idea who she is and she likes that she can just be herself rather than have him know all her baggage already which is basically the exact opposite of what MG's speech about why they should date would've been, I like that MG is a good enough guy to tell her that he was just happy to see her happy today.
  • I like that Alaric after seeing that he can't convince Hope to stay gives her his cross bow and I like that Hope tells him that he's good at helping kids.
  • I like that Landon and Hope were able to talk to each other as well as they did even though to Landon she's a stranger and the whole situation is very awkward to Hope, this is something that just made them work together as a couple in past and hopeful again in the future.
  • I like that Hope tells Landon that sometimes being a relationship means allowing yourself to be imperfect which is something that she learned from her relationship with him when she ends up giving him relationship advice.
  • I like that Landon's subconscious remembered Hope's milk shake order and that he order one for her after seeing her without knowing why which just proves that he still loves her but he doesn't know that since he can't remember her.
  • I feel bad for Josie that she can't feel like her relationship is working out if she isn't in someway fixing problems for the other person and that she's mad at herself for being ridiculous and codependent in all of her relationship.
  • I like that Landon tells Josie that she shouldn't be so hard on herself because maybe the reason she is the way she is, is because she's never been in a relationship where her feelings actually mattered before.
  • I like that Landon tells Josie that he also feels like a fraud because everyone keeps saying that he destroyed malivore while he knows that's not true even if he doesn't know what really happened and that he wanted Josie to be impressed by him like everyone else is.
  • I'm glad that Hope told Alaric who she really is and that he's the closest thing she has to a father and that she has no idea what to do now that the world has forgotten her. I like that Alaric hugs her and tells her that they'll figure it out together.
  • I find it worrying that the new headmaster approves of Josie using magic to hurt her classmate and that he offers her a spot in an advanced magic class as reward for doing so.
  • I'm not sure what is up with the cloak figure with the knife but probably something to do with malivore.
Please tell me your thoughts on this episode.

TV Review: Nancy Drew: Pilot(1.01)

                                               Nancy Drew: Pilot(1.01)Review
  • There is a story of some girl in the past who died the night that she won the Sea Queen crown and after winning Sea Queen Nancy sees what looks like her ghost and although she doesn't believe in them I have a feeling that this will come into play later on.
  • Nancy became interested in solving mysteries after she saw her parents unbury a chest in their backyard in the middle of the night and tried to convince her that she was dreaming. Nancy became even more obsessed with solving mysteries after she found a missing girl but she stopped being interested in solving mysteries after her mom died of cancer.
  • It's established that Nancy is working at a diner where an old classmate that hates her, George  is her boss because she tanked her grades for the last half of her senior year. We also learn that she hooking up with a guy named Nick, she works with a guy named Ace who's not very smart and a girl named Bess who is rich and not from around her town and is taking a gap year.
  • Things start to get a bit weird when a wealthy man named Ryan Hudson and several of his friends insist that they eat at the diner after it's closed while he tells them to bring a plate of food to his wife who for some reason is staying outside by the car rather than coming in.
  • After a power outage Nancy goes outside to check on Mrs. Hudson only discover that she has been killed.
  • I disliked how Ace pretty much throw all of his coworkers under the bus when he was questioned by the police.
  • The police chief seems like a dick with how he's accusing Nancy, George, Bess and Nick of being murders simply because they found the body. Also him revealing things he knows about them in the most dickish way possible also makes me hate him.
  • I like that George pretty much says that the reason the police chief hates Nancy is because she does his job for him.
  • I find it funny how Bess thinks that the police chief was calling her an ex con when he also listed rich girl as a description which clearly would be her.
  • I'm curious about what crime Nick committed in his past but I still feel like he's a good person regardless of what he might've done in the past.
  • I really hate how the police chief just blindly believes that Nancy is the one that killed Tiffany Hudson when he has no proof and it just feels like he has a personal vendetta against this nineteen year old girl which just makes him look pathetic.
  • I'm sad to learn that Nancy and her dad haven't been communicating well since her mom died since he has been spending so much time at work.
  • I find it interesting that Nancy caught Tiffany's death on camera and that it appears that it was a ghost that killed her.
  • I like that Bess after seeing the video completely believes that Tiffany was murdered by a ghost and I like that Ace tells a little more about the ghost who is called dead Lucy.
  • We learn that George dislikes Nancy because she was friends with people that spread rumors about her sex life in high school.
  • I like that Nick stopped by the diner and I like that Nancy told the others that they are dating since Nick has been wanting her to tell people about them for awhile now.
  • I like that when Nick asks Nancy how she would go about proving that Ryan Hudson was behind his wife murder that she started listing off all the things that they should be looking for in order to solve the case before saying that maybe they should just let the police handle it.
  • I felt so anxious when Nancy broke into Ryan's house and the security alarm went off which led to the company coming to the house while she was there. I felt even more anxious when Nick went in after her to make sure that she wouldn't get caught.
  • I like that Nick decided to follow Nancy because he thought that she might do something dangerous and I like that he told her that she was worth the risk of possibly being caught breaking the law.
  • I like that Nick is trying to get Nancy to open up to him but he is also making it clear that he's willing to wait until she is ready to do so but since Nancy doesn't think she'll ever be ready she pushes him away.
  • I like that Nancy ends up asking George for help figuring out the meaning a fishermen themed necklace that she found at the Hudson's house because she comes from a family of sailors.
  • I like that both George and Bess decide that they are now going to be helping Nancy with her investigation whether she likes it or not.
  • I like that after they find an address for a medium in the necklace that when Nancy says that she does this types of things alone George points out that she wouldn't have found the address without her and Bess points out that a medium would be able to tell she doesn't believe in ghosts so she needs her as well.
  • I like that Nancy, Bess and George all have different reactions to the medium with Nancy just trying to ask questions right away, Bess really believing that she can communicate with the dead and wanting to see her do that and George wanting Nancy to wait until after the medium does her thing to ask questions because this session was expensive.
  • I find it interesting that the medium accidently communicating with dead Lucy is something that frightened her.
  • I felt bad for Nancy when she saw her dad and her family friend Karen kissing because she believed that her dad was still mourning her mom.
  • I liked that Nancy went to Nick and that she opened up to him and that she tells him about how she doesn't like her current life and how he's the only thing that makes it a little bit better.
  • I like that Nancy tells Nick that he doesn't have to tell her about his past until he's ready since she can tell he's not there yet.
  • I found it interesting that Nancy's father was Nick's lawyer and the fact that Nick was charged with manslaughter and that Tiffany Hudson was the witness that's statement got him convicted does make him a suspect but since we literally have footage of a ghost killing her I don't think he did it.
  • It turns about that Bess isn't rich but is living in a van and that she somehow stole Tiffany's ring, that George is having an affair with Ryan Hudson, Ace is spying for the police chief and Nick is hiding something in one of the cars at the shop.
  • I find it very suspicious that Nancy's parents were hiding the dress that Lucy died in but I have no idea what this means.
Please tell me your thoughts on this episode.

TV Review: Legacies: I'll Never Give Up Hope(2.01)

Legacies: I'll Never Give Up Hope(2.01)Review

  • I was a bit surprised that Landon was the one that got the voiceover at the beginning of the episode but I liked how he explained both how what the end of the school years like for himself and the other students which is that most of them got home but he doesn't have a home to return. I like that Landon is feeling the loss of Hope even if he's doesn't remember her but I'm sad that it's making him realize that not being able to stay dead means that he'll end up alone.
  • I like that it's established that Lizzie is spending the summer with Caroline and I like that her and Josie are trying to find out more about the merge. Also there right about Caroline being cagey about the ascendant since I know how it's used in the merge and she hasn't even admitted that the merge can't happen without it.
  • I'm glad that Lizzie is in therapy right now since she has been struggle with her mental since before the series began.
  • I think it's concerning that Lizzie finds the idea of being literally unable to communicate with a guy to be a turn on and I'm glad that Josie points out to her that she should work on communicating with the people she's interested in.
  • While I think it's nice of Josie to try and be there for her dad when he's going through a hard time I think that Lizzie is right to point out that Josie should focus more on making herself happy and worry less about others especially when there really isn't much she can do for them.
  • I'm curious if the reason Lizzie asks Josie about Landon is because they got closer between seasons or just because he's one of the only other students staying at school during the summer.
  • I feel a bit bad for Alaric that he's feeling betrayed by Dorian for voting him out but honestly he asked for the vote so he only really has himself to blame for his situation.
  • I like that Landon is still making it a point to spend time with Raf even though he's stuck in wolf form and that he's looking for a way to get him out of it.
  • I like that Kaleb invited MG to spend the summer with his family because he thinks of MG as his family now since MG was rejected by his own family. I also like that MG says that he still misses his family even if they suck because it's hard give up on the people you love.
  • I like that MG mentioned that he likes Lizzie since his interested in Lizzie hasn't been brought up since like episode six of last season and well that's a relationship I'm interested in seeing develop.
  • I thought it was sad how Landon was having a one sided conversation with Raf but I like that he tells him that he knows he's still in there and that he'll find away to help him and things will be good again.
  • I feel bad for Hope that even though she sacrifice herself she's still stuck in the empty void that is malivore rather than being able to find peace on the afterlife.
  • I was surprised when Clarke showed up and saved Hope from being sucked into some kind of whirlpool that suddenly developed.
  • I felt really bad for Hope when Clarke pointed out that her sacrifice failed to fully destroy malivore and that not only is she now stuck in it none of her friends even remember that she existed in the first place.
  • I'm glad that Clarke told Hope that her being there has changed how malivore works since before no two creatures were able to interact before which means there now may be a way to escape it.
  • I like that Hope refused to work with Clarke because she doesn't trust him and she never will because she can't see that ever change. I like how Hope used the mimic spell on Clarke to get him away from her but I wonder if she'll regret it later if she can't find a way out or someone else to work with.
  • I like that Alaric is look into how malivore could have been destroyed and who other than Landon was there at the time since forensics shows that two other people were there but no one can figure out who, I'm not surprised that he hasn't made any progress.
  • I feel bad for Josie that Alaric won't tell her anything about the ascendant but I actually just remembered that the ascendant has to do with the prison worlds not the merge so I guess I take back my earlier statement about it.
  • I felt bad for Landon when Alaric and Josie started to have their argument with him awkwardly stuck in the middle of it.
  • I like that Hope does break her spell on Clarke so that he can save her from the portal again. I think malivore might be more dangerous know that all the creatures can interact with each other as we can see now with the dragon that is after Hope and Clarke.
  • I think it's concerning that Landon seems to be killing himself regularly even if he does know that he'll come back to life. I think it's probably important that Landon can remember Hope right before he dies.
  • I think that Josie is right to be concerned about Landon because he is hurting himself regardless off if the damage lasts or not and he doesn't know how many times he will come back or not.
  • I liked how when Landon calls Josie out for focusing on dealing with other people's problems rather than her own and she tries to lie about it that Landon tells her he can tell she's lying and when she asks how he knows he says it's because he knows because of how much of time he spent lying in the past.
  • I like that Josie suggest that maybe the way her and Landon should be coping with their problems should be by focusing more on living their lives rather than dying.
  • I find the subplot about Kaleb wanting him and MG to win over his uncle in his family's BBQ contest to be pretty amusing.
  • I thought that MG and Kim to be pretty cute in there scene together but her being Kaleb's sister might prevent anything from happening between them for awhile.
  • While the montage of Landon and Josie growing closer together is very cute it doesn't say great things about their relationship long term since if the show really valued there relationship they would spend more time on it.
  • I like that Josie tells Lizzie that her relationship with Landon is something that is fun and that she seems genuinely happy.
  • I like how Clarke tells Hope that he isn't a villain but rather a boy that is terrified of his father and he has been trying to find a way to get away from him his whole life. I like that after hearing this Hope creates a comfort spell for him since she's now since a more human side of him.
  • I felt made for Landon when he was freaking out since Raf hasn't turned up for dinner three days in a row while he previously had everyday for months and I like that Josie called him down and told him that she would do a locator spell to find him.
  • I like how Hope uses a truth spell on Clarke and it's revealed that malivore has been trying to expel her rather than kill her but Clarke grabbing is what keeps her there because malivore wants to punish him by keeping him there. I'm glad that Hope figured this all out that she has escape malivore.
  • I like how Landon told Josie about the visions he has before he dies and that he thinks that they might be the answer to everything and I like that Josie tells him that no answer is worth accidently going over his phoenix quota and not coming back.
  • I like that Landon asks Josie if she's happy because he's been pretty happy since they started hanging out and she says she feels the same way.
  • I'm glad that Alaric told Josie about how the ascendant is the key to a prison world that has their lunatic uncle in there who is the only other member living member of Josie and Lizzie's coven and that they will only contact him as a last resort.
  • I like that Lizzie tells Josie that she has been going to therapy for three hours a day and that she's working hard on getting better, really better.
  • I'm not surprised that Raf just no longer wants to spend time with Landon because he hasn't been human for so long but I still do feel bad for Landon.
  • I thought that Landon and Josie's kiss was sweet but I was sad for Hope who saw it since she's still very much in love with him and he's moved on since he can't remember her.
  • The scene between Hope and crystal hologram version of Landon was both very sweet and very sad. I like how the hologram Landon tells Hope that there isn't a world where he would want her to leave town without telling him about what happened to her. I'm sad that Hope doesn't want to say anything because she believes that Landon and everyone else are happier without her.
  • I like that Kaleb says that he will help MG get with Lizzie since he forbid MG from talking to his sister over the summer.
  • I'm worried about the creature that seemed to also escape malivore that Hope sees at the end of the episode but I'm happy that it will prevent her from leaving town.
  • I'm disappointed but not surprised that Clarke is planning to earn his freedom by destroying Hope for malivore's sake.
Please tell me your thoughts on this episode.

TV Review: The 100: Die All, Die Merrily(4.10)

The 100: Die All, Die Merrily(4.10)Review
  • I like that Bellamy tells Octavia that she doesn't have to be the one to fight and that they could find someone else because I love how much Bellamy still cares for Octavia even though things have been bad between them for quite sometime. I'm not at all surprised that Octavia really wants to be the one to fight.
  • I like that Clarke tells Octavia that she's got this before she goes off to fight and I like that Bellamy asks Clarke if she really believes this and Clarke says it's for the best if Octavia believes this because being realistic about the odds isn't going to make her fight any better.
  • The whole Conclave deciding who gets to live or die based solely off who is the best fighter still feels wrong to me especially since more people would be able to survive if they just divided the bunker.
  • I'm not really surprised that Luna is fighting because she doesn't believe that humanity really deserves to survive after all the things she's seen people do in order to survive but I'm also not thrilled about it.
  • I like that Indra still gives Octavia advice even though Octavia isn't fighting for her because she's her as one of her people regardless and wants her to survive.
  • I like that Jaha thinks that the whole idea of a conclave is wrong and they shouldn't be deciding the fate of their people based on a blood sport and I like that he worries that even if Octavia is the winner that the grounders might not accept their victory because their track record with the grounders in making deals with the grounders in the past don't usually work out in their favor.
  • I'm not surprised that Clarke is thinking about finding a way to cheat since she doesn't believe that Octavia will be able to beat Luna but I like that Kane points out that if they cheat and get caught it will mean that their people will die anyway.
  • I felt sad for Bellamy when he suggested that Clarke should be one of the ones to go see Octavia rather than him because he believes that he would just say the wrong thing and somehow make things worse. I like that Clarke tells Bellamy that him not being there for his sister would be worse than him not being able to find the right thing to say.
  • I'm not surprised that Clarke tried to make another alliance with Roan in order to insure that Luna won't be the one to win but I'm not sure of how good of an idea it was to even mention anything to him in the first place.
  • I really don't understand Roan's and the rest grounders philosophy about bloodshed deciding everything in their lives but I'm not surprised he doesn't care if humanity doesn't survive if his people isn't the part of it that does.
  • I like that Kane had found out all of the warriors weaknesses beforehand and that he was telling them all to Octavia so that she could know the best way to fight them.
  • I like that Bellamy tells Octavia that she doesn't need to fight everyone because one it's true she doesn't need to fight everyone to win and two he just doesn't want Octavia to put herself in more danger than she has to be in.
  • I like that even though Octavia was mad at Bellamy suggest to avoid fighting at first she was able to see it as the smart move to make she did spend the first half her life hiding so she knows how to do that well and she realizes she actually only has to kill the last warrior in order to win.
  • I'm going to assume that the reason Bellamy didn't hug Octavia before she went off to the conclave is because if he did it would feel too much like saying goodbye for the last time.
  • I like that Octavia is sneaking around and using avoidance as the tactic for her fighting because it really is the smartest call at this point in the conclave.
  • I like that when Bellamy tells Kane that he couldn't tell Octavia that he loved her before she left that Kane tells him that she knows that he does.
  • I think that both Luna and Octavia had points in their argument with Octavia being right about Lincoln would want at least part of humanity to survive and that fighting for that is actually a worthy battle but I think that Luna was right that Lincoln would be ashamed of a lot of the things that Octavia has done because Octavia has done and enjoyed far more violence then what was necessary in the past view seasons.
  • I like that Illyan wanted to make an alliance with Octavia, I was unsurprised when Octavia rejected it even knowing that the sky crew would be willing to share the bunker with others if they were the ones to win.
  • I like that Bellamy figured out that Echo went out in the field to give the Ice Nation a better chance at winning and how he wanted to go out there and stop her before she got Octavia killed. I like that Kane convinced Bellamy to wait until nightfall to try and stop Echo since there would be a smaller chance of him getting caught then there would be during the day.
  • I like that Illyan helped Octavia out when she was surrounded by four other warriors and that they defeated them together.
  • I was sad when Illyan was shot by one of Echo's arrows(although I did like that they confirmed that Bellamy was right about her being out there before he snuck out)but I was glad that Octavia ended up mercy killing Illyan rather than having to battle him until the death and that she was sad about having to do that.
  • I like that when Roan found out that Echo cheating on behalf of their people that he didn't approve of it and that he banished her from their people.
  • I like that Roan decide to both spare Bellamy's life and not reveal that he was on the battlefield probably because Bellamy wasn't actually trying to cheat on behalf of his people but to stop Echo's cheating.
  • I like that Roan tells Bellamy that he will tell Octavia before he kills her that she was lucky to have Bellamy as a brother and I like that Bellamy says how about instead when she's just about to kill you, you tell her that he was the lucky one. I also like that Octavia witness this exchange and was touched by it.
  • I like that Roan purposes a temporary alliance with Octavia so that they can defeat Luna and humanity can survive through one of there people.
  • I like that Octavia was smart enough to know that she couldn't continue fighting out in the black rain even if Luna can keep on fighting.
  • I like how Luna talked about how she thought before that people were mostly good but their situation is what made them bad but after interacting more again with the other clans she started to understand both hers and people in generals inner darkness that never really ends up going away no matter how far away from it you go.
  • I was glad that Octavia won and I think it's fitting that she won by stabbing Luna in the back because that was the only way she could really beat her.
  • It kind of makes the whole conclave pointless now that Octavia announces that she wants everyone to share the bunker equally which had been suggested in the past but I'm okay with this decision.
  • I'm not really surprised that Clarke came up with the plan for their people to take the bunker before the conclave was over since she'd do anything to make sure her people were safe and I'm also not surprised that she would have Bellamy kidnapped so that he would be inside before they locked everyone else out because she wouldn't want to survive without him.

TV Review: Come and Hug Me

                                                           Come and Hug Me Review
Come and Hug Me is about how Gil Nak Won and Yoon Na Moo are connected to each other both do a friendship and mutual childhood crushes that they have on each other and because Na Moo's father was the serial killer that murder Nak Won's parents and he ended up saving her from that same fate. Nak Won and Na Moo are still living with the trauma of what happened when they were young as adults and both of them now go by different names to try and get a fresh start although this doesn't seem to help much since reports end up looking into them and reveal what their new identities are to the public. Nak Won as gone on to follow in her mother's footsteps and become an actress like her mother was before her death, this is something to keeps her in the public eye of course which one of the reasons reporters seem unwilling to let her move on with her life. Na Moo was become a police officer because wants to try and make up for the damage that his father has done by saving more people's lives than his father has killed. Na Moo ends up facing quite a bit of backlash from the victims families and the public in general because they feel like he should be punished for his father's sins despite the fact that he is a big part of the reason that his father was caught in the first place and he is nothing like his father with how he wants to protect people rather than kill them. Throughout the series there is a question posed whether or not being a psychopath is genetic and whether Na Moo is like his father which he isn't but his father likes to think they're the same so other people who don't know Na Moo well questioned this.

Nak Won and Na Moo are separate for twelve years but end up meeting again as adults and it's clear right away that they still have feelings for each other but they don't get together right away because of the fear of public backlash which would accuse Nak Won of betraying her parents memory by loving the son of the man that killed them and for Na Moo they would think that he's shameless because not only is he daring to be happy after what his father did but he is with the daughter of one of his victims. At first Nak Won and Na Moo keep their distance Na Moo more so than Nak Won but then there seems to be someone who is copying Na Moo's father and is threatening Nak Won which leads to Na Moo being assigned her case and protecting her which leads them closer together and after awhile they decide to forget about everyone else and just try to be happy with each other.

This series also has sub plots about Na Moo's brother Yoon Hyun Moo who strangely idolizes his father at the start of the series and wants nothing more than for him to be proud of him which leads him down a dark path. Hyun Moo eventually starts to see that Na Moo as well as their step Mother and step sister truly care for him in the way a family should which makes him realize that he's wrong to put his faith in his father and instead wants to protect the rest of his family from his father. There's also subplot about Nak Won's adopted brother who is dealing with his own inter darkness while fearing  that Na Moo has it as well and wanting him to stay away from his sister.

Overall this was a fantastic series it was extremely written, acted and directed. This series was one that was really sad especially in the first half but in the end this series was about finding away to heal from your trauma and move on to live a better life in spite of it. Please tell me your about thoughts about this series in the comment section below.

TV Review: The Umbrella Academy Season 1

The Umbrella Academy Season 1 Review
The Umbrella Academy is about how on October 1, 1989 43 woman who were not pregnant when they woke up that morning gave birth and how eccentric billionaire Reginald Hargreeves decided to buy as many of the children as he could in the end he got seven of them and six of them ended up having super powers. Reginald forced the children become child super heroes and ended up psychologically abusing all seven of the children through out their childhood in different ways which leads to them being messed up as adults. Vanya the only child not to show signs of having powers was isolated from her siblings and told by her father repeatedly that there was nothing special about her which has led to her having very low self esteem.

The Hargreeves siblings reunite for the first time in years as adults after their father dies at his funeral which is where the series story really starts in the current time. Quick overview of what the characters abilities are and where they currently are when the series begins Luther has super strength and has been living on the moon the last few years because his dad told him to. Diego has the ability to curve anything he throws so that it hits it's target he generally uses knives and is currently working as a vigilante. Allison can make someone do whatever she wants as long as she says the phrase I heard a rumor before it and is currently a famous actress whose personal life is falling apart due to her over using her power. Klaus has the ability to talk to the dead and he spends his time getting high and drunk in order to block out the sounds of the dead since he can't turn off his power in any other way. Five can teleport and time travel and he has been missing since they were all thirteen years old. Ben had inter-dimensional monsters beneath his skin and he died several years before the series and currently follows Klaus around and tries to convince him to make better decisions. Vanya has no powers and works as a violinist who lives are very lonely life and wrote a book about her childhood that led to her family being pretty angry with her.

The siblings reunite at the funeral and things don't start off well especially when Luther accuses his siblings of murdering their father which obviously upsets his siblings who hated their father but wouldn't kill him. On the day of the funeral Five comes back and although he looks thirteen he's actually been gone for forty-five years from his point of view and only looks young because he made some kind of miscalculation with time travel that he won't explain to his siblings and it turns out that he went to the future and that the apocalypse will happen eight days from now and he has come back to stop it although it takes him awhile to really tell his siblings what is going on. Even when the siblings find out the apocalypse they really don't do well with focusing on how to stop it because everyone is still to focus on their personal problems and their dysfunctional relationships with each other.

Overall I loved this series I think it did a great job at exploring the dysfunctional family dynamics that the siblings share while also showing that they care about each other despite that and I think all they characters were interesting and I enjoyed learning about them. I really love that all of the characters have such obvious flaws and that they all still have so much more room to grow in the future. I like that the characters were so focused on the personal that the plot mostly took a backseat for them and I like that in the end even the apocalypse was something that was caused by the family's personal issues in the end. This also had a really great soundtrack that I love that made an already great series even better. Please tell me your thoughts on this series in the comment section below.

TV Review: The Innocent Man

                                                         The Innocent Man Review
The Innocent Man is about Kang Ma ru a promising young med student who grew up in poverty who ended up taking the fall for a murder that his girlfriend Han Jae hee committed in self defense because she told him that she couldn't bare to go back to the gutter after making herself into a successful reporter. Ma ru goes to prison in Jae hee's place assuming that she would wait for him and continue her career as a reporter but it turns out that Jae hee stops being a reporter soon after the murder and instead marries a CEO who is much older than her and has a child with the man. Years later after Ma ru has been out of prison for some time discovers that Jae hee not only didn't wait for him but has also stopped being a reporter decides that he will take his revenge on Jae hee by bring her back down to his level.

Ma ru decides that the best way to get under Jae hee's skin is to start a relationship with Jae hee's step daughter Seo Eun Gi who is around the same age as Ma ru and Jae hee so it's unsurprising that Eun gi doesn't like that her father left her mother for Jae hee. Eun gi is ambitious, cold and has a temper which are traits that can both help and hurt her while working in her father's company, she wishes to be the CEO once her father steps down but her father would rather her younger brother(who is currently only five) be the one that takes over for him since he believes that men make better leaders. Eun gi has a lot of resentment towards Jae hee even before she meets Ma ru which is why she agrees to date him even after it becomes clear that he has ulterior motives for why he approached her in the first place.

Eun gi eventually begins to fall for Ma ru as he starts to notice her hidden softer side which is something he uses to win her affections in order to get closer to her in order to mess with Jae hee but Eun gi's softer side also leads to Ma ru developing some feelings of his own that he won't admit to having. About halfway through the series a lot of dramatic things happen all at once there's some character death, injuries and a time jump which leads to the second half of the series mainly dealing with the fall out of what happens midway through the show.

Overall I really enjoyed this show, the story was one that was driven by revenge and filled with manipulation which is something that I find to be very enjoyable in a story even it did get a little too dramatic at times. I thought that the main characters were very well written and acted, I liked that the characters were more intriguing than likable for the most part. I really loved the music for the show, I felt like it suited the tone of the show perfectly. Please tell me your thoughts on this show in the comment section below.

Woo jin and Shim deok share a slow dance under the starry sky right before its implied that they kill themselves since unable to live without each other but also can't live with themselves if they abandon their families.

Overall I really enjoyed this drama it was a beautiful romantic and tragic story that was directed and acted beautifully. I really enjoyed seeing a drama that was set in this time period since I felt that the period this show was set in added a lot of drama to the story even though it wasn't really the focus of the story. TV Review: What's Wrong with Secretary Kim?

What's Wrong with Secretary Kim? Review
What's Wrong with Secretary Kim is about how Kim Mi so the hyper competent secretary to the workaholic slightly narcissistic vice chairman  Lee Young joon has decided to quit her job after working for Young joon for the last nine years since she has been able to have a life for herself while working for him since she always had to be on call in case he needed her. Young joon doesn't want Mi so to quit because he has come to depend on her both as a secretary and as someone he depends upon emotionally even though he is oblivious to this fact even while he's offering to marry her in a desperate attempt to prevent her from leaving him. Mi so agrees to stay at her job until she finishes training in her replacement and sees through an opening of an art center that they have been working on together, Young joon decides to use this time to convince her to stay at her job by offering her money, trying to be a better boss and offering to date her so that she wouldn't have to quit in order to start dating.

As the series goes on Young joon realize that the reason he's so desperate for Mi so to stay is because he has romantic feelings for her which leads to him trying woo her because he actually wants to date her and Mi so it seems also have feelings for him but she a little less sure of it a relationship between the two of them could work out. There's a plot thread through out the series that deals with Mi so trying to find a boy that was with her when she was kidnapped for a few days when she was really little who turns out to be Young joon but because of some family issues Young joon's family is pretending that his brother was the one that was kidnapped instead of him despite Young joon having both physical and emotional scars from ordeal where his brother does not. The lies about Young joon and his brother leads to Mi so and the brother briefly connecting and almost dating but in the end Mi so decides that Young joon is the one wants before she even figures out the truth behind the switch.

This series also has several other romantic subplots that revolve around other works at the company such as a relationship that develops between Mi so's replacement secretary Kim Ji a and one of the hardest workers in the company Go Gwi nam who pretends to be wealthier than he is which Ji a figures out and because of her keeping his secret the two become closer until they fall for each other. There's also the relationship between Bong Se ra and Yang Cheol which is very cute since they have contrasting personalities with Se ra being quite loud and attention grabbing and Cheol being quiet and more subtle in his affection.

Overall I really loved this series it was really sweet and cute the leads were great both together and a part and made a terrific couple. This series was a lot of fun to watch and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys romcoms. Please tell me your thoughts on the series in the comment section below.

TV Reviw: Can We Get Married?

                                                Can We Get Married? Review
Can We Get Married is about Hye yoon and Jung hoon a young couple who have just gotten engaged and now have to deal with getting their approval for the marriage. At first Hye yoon's mother is very against the marriage because she wants Hye yoon to marry someone who is far more rich and successful because she doesn't want her daughter to be wanting for anything after she had to grow up without a father. Jung hoon's parents are supportive at first but after awhile Jung hoon's mom feels insulted by Hye yoon and her mother because Hye yoon and her family simply can't afford to spend as much on the wedding as she thinks they should be spending on the wedding which she takes to mean that they think lowly of her. Hye yoon and Jung hoon's mother's fighting end up bring up their own insecurities about themselves and their relationship with each other which leads to the two of them fighting and doubting whether or not they can actually handle getting married to each other.

There are a bunch of other subplots in the series about various other couples in the series who are connected to Hye yoon and Jung hoon in some way. The pairing that takes up the most screen time is Hye yoon's sister Hye jin and her husband Do hyun who are getting a divorce since he has been cheating on her for quite sometime. The whole plot with Hye jin is honestly kind of depressing to watch because Do hyun just treats her so badly and he is threatening to take away their son and her means to support herself simply because he can and I don't understand why the show spent so much time on this storyline. My favorite pairing in this series was Hye yoon's and Jung hoon's friends Dong bi and Ki joon who have been dating for five years but Ki joon refuses to marry Dong bi because he believes getting married would destroy their relationship but as the series goes on they end up finding a new understanding of each other and eventually changing views on marriage. The last couple is Hye yoon's aunt Deul rae and Min ho who are both older but end up falling in love with each other and the two of them are very cute together through out the series.

Overall this series was pretty good but there were also quite a few characters and storylines in this series that I found annoying or frustrating which keeps me from really recommending that anyone watch it but it really wasn't a bad series as a whole either. Please tell me your thoughts about this series in the comment section below.

TV Review: Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo

Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo Review
Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok joo is about a college student named Kim Bok joo who is the ace of the weightlifting department and her biggest dream is to win a gold medal in weightlifting. Bok joo is fine with not being seen as a woman by anyone at the start of the series since she only cares about fulfilling her weightlifting dreams until she meets a doctor named Jung Jae yi who she finds herself falling for at first sight and she then starts making excuses to spend time with him while hiding the fact that she is a weightlifter since she feels he couldn't see her as a woman if he knew about her weightlifting. Bok joo eventually discovers that Jae yi's brother is Jung Joon hyung who is swimmer who goes to the same college of her and used to go to elementary school, Joon hyung likes to seek out Bok joo to annoy her but also truly enjoys spending time with her and admires her for her weightlifting abilities. After Joon hyung finds out about Bok joo lying to his brother about who she really is, Bok joo swears him to secrecy.

Over the course of the series it becomes more and more obvious that Joon hyung likes Bok joo as more than a friend even though him and Bok joo seem to remain oblivious to this fact. As time goes on Bok joo realizes that Jae yi is never going to see her as a woman so she decides to give up on her one side love for him and Joon hyung helps her through this time by being there for her as a friend while she struggles with letting go of her feelings for Jae yi and about whether or not she truly loves weightlifting anymore since it was no longer bringing her happiness. In the end Bok joo returns to weightlifting and some time after Joon hyung confesses his feelings for her, she realizes that she also have feelings for him.

Overall I really enjoyed this drama the two leads where good characters that built a relationship that you couldn't help but to root for. I also really liked most of the supporting characters in this drama as well even though I didn't mention them above. I think this series is sweet and romantic which makes it a very fun watch. Please tell me your thoughts on this episode in the comment section below.

TV Review: The 100: DNR(4.09)

                                                    The 100: DNR(4.09)Review
  • I like that Emori doesn't believe that anyone is coming back for them after how she was treated by the others last episode.
  • I liked that Raven assured Emori that the others will come back for them because Raven is too valuable be left behind although they would leave Murphy behind.
  • I like that Raven got a vision where Becca told her how she could use the rocket to survive in space rather than in the bunker.
  • I like that Illian is preparing the ground for those who will survive the radiation in the future that will need to use it for farming.
  • I like that Illian sees no point in fighting now that the world is going to end in just a few days from now and I dislike that Octavia wants in on that fight.
  • I like that Jaha tells all of the ark people to get ready to go to the bunker because that's where they will be able to survive what is to come and that it's likely that all of them will survive.
  • I find it sad and a little scary how even with the chance of survival within grasp that Jasper is still planning to die and is convincing other people that this the better option, I understand that he truly believes this and isn't doing this out of malice but it still comes across as a but disturbing.
  • I like that when Clarke found out that their people double crossed Roan and where planning to kill him that she warned him of the attack that was going to happen against him.
  • I like that Clarke still had Roan's trust because she saved him and that this led him to be willing to talk with Indra and her people about all three of their people sharing the bunker together.
  • I liked that when Clarke said that they would need their Chancellor at the meeting that Roan told her that she would be the best person to have at that meeting because no one would be better than her at convincing people that hate each other to come together in order to survive.
  • I'm sad that Harper seems to be giving up hope on things since their going to have to fight yet another war in order to survive in the bunker now.
  • I feel bad for Monty when he mentions that it seems that spend their last days wasted is common among the people that he cares about since Jasper has given up on life quite awhile ago and Harper now can't seem to find it in herself to fight another battle.
  • I think it was a bit harsh of Monty to call Harper a coward but I get why he did it because he wants her to fight to survive.
  • I find it interesting and worrying that Raven will die if she states down on the ground but she might have a chance to live if she goes into space.
  • I like how when Emori figured that the others weren't coming back that Murphy kept telling her that they would find a way to survive somewhere else without the others help and I liked that even if his options weren't good ones that Emori was comforted by his words at least a little bit.
  • I think it's ridiculous how Roan and Indra's people want to go to war for the bunker while they could all easily share it.
  • I like that since Clarke now has nightblood that she wants Indra'a daughter to make her the commander so that she can prevent a war from happening.
  • I liked that Jaha, Bellamy, Monty and Others tried to get Jasper, Harper and the others to leave with them so that they can survive.
  • I liked that both Bellamy and Monty were against blowing open the doors since the others could be hurt by that.
  • I liked that Bellamy pointed out to Jaha that in the past he sent children down to die on the ground and now he's demanding that they live and I like that Bellamy points out that the only difference this time around is that they get to make a choice for themselves. I like that Jaha allows them to make that choice in the end but I also get why Monty is against that.
  • I like that when Monty asks if Bellamy would give up if Octavia was in there that Bellamy tells him that at least if she was in there he'd get to say goodbye to her.
  • I liked that Octavia at least attempted to avoid the fight but I disliked that she ended up killing Illian's friends and deciding that's who she is.
  • I like that Roan figured out what Clarke's plans once he found out that a new commander will ascend and that he used for he knew to stop Clarke's plans. I like that Roan decides that they should have a conclave rather than a war to settle their differences because it would mean less of their people will die.
  • I like that Bellamy asks Jasper and Harper if they'd change their minds one last time before he leaves and that Jasper asks him if he wants to stay and Bellamy tells him he's not a quitter and I like that Jasper thanks him for understanding.
  • I find it sad that when Bellamy tells Jasper May we meet again that Jasper tells him they won't.
  • I like that Monty ended up staying incase Harper or Jasper changes their minds at the last minute because he wants them to still have a chance at survival and I like that it seems like Harper has some doubts about her decision.
  • I like that Miller and Jackson came back for Murphy, Emori and Raven but I was sad that Raven decide to stay but I understand why she did it since she doesn't have any chance at really surviving if she goes with them.
  • I like that Clarke tells Bellamy about the upcoming conclave and I like that Bellamy points out that there at the biggest disadvantage since they can't use guns, I hope that Octavia showing up at the end of the episode means good things for them.
Please tell me your thoughts about this episode.

TV Review: Witch's Court

                                                          Witch's Court Review
Witch's Court is about Ma Yi deum an ambitious prosecutor who cares more about winning cases and getting media attention than she does about the victims of the crime that she is suppose to be fighting for. Early on in the series Yi deum ends up revealing that her boss indeed to harass a female reporter after she finds out that even if she covers up his crime she still won't get the promotion she wants so she ends up standing up for the reporter for entirely selfish reasons and than is reassigned to a special task force that deals with sex crimes. Yi deum is very upset to be transferred there because no one really moves higher up in the ranks after being assigned there so she starts off her time working there with a pretty bad attitude. While working there Yi deum ends up being partner up with Yeo Jin wook who is fairly new to being a prosecutor since he had previously worked as a psychologist which is one of the reasons that he cares about the victims of the crimes they investigate well being so much. Yi deum and Jin wook having such different views on what the job entails means that there partnership is off to a bit of a rough start but the two do end up learning from each other and end becoming very close and caring with each other.

The main on going plot of this series deals with how there is a politician named Jo Gab soo who has been committing sex crimes among other crimes for at least the past thirty years. One of Gab soo's victims happened to be Yi deum's mother who tried to submit evidence against him twenty years ago which led to her being kidnapped by him. Yi deum has been searching for her mother ever since she disappeared which is part of the reason she cares so much about getting media attention is because she hopes that her mother will see her on tv and come and find her. Since Yi deum has no idea about what happened between her mother and Gab soo she really doesn't even know where to start looking so it takes her awhile for the plot on how they try to find evidence of Gab soo's crimes and how they can take him down to really start but the ground work for it is laid out from the start.

Overall I enjoyed the show, I thought that cases were quite interesting and I liked the main characters although I really wished that they spent a bit more time on developing their relationship in the second half of the series because I feel like the show was a bit over taken by Gab soo who is a character who while necessary to the story isn't one that anyone really enjoys watching. Please tell me your thoughts on the series in the comment section below.

TV Review: School 2017

                                                           School 2017 Review
School 2017 like the other entries in the School franchise spends the series dealing with issues of a variety of students who are in the same class. Our main character in this series is Ra Eun ho a student who doesn't study well and has a tendency to get into trouble but is very good at drawing and is determined to achieve her dreams. At the school there is a mysterious figure called X who causes trouble for the school by playing pranks and revealing all the injustices that take place at school and one Eun ho stumbles upon X in the teacher's office and she ends up being accused of being X. Eun ho is tasked with the job of finding out who X is afterwards in order to clear her name but she ends up helping with X's plans instead since she believes he stands for justice.

Eun ho ends up developing a friendship with Hyun Tae woon who is the son of the Chairman of the school which allows him to get a way with things that other students wouldn't, he doesn't have good grades either and has a bit of rebellious attitude. At first Eun ho doesn't like Tae woon much but after she gets to know him better she learns that he isn't the person she assumed he was at first and the two of them end up becoming very close and partners in a way. After awhile Tae woon realizes that he has a crush on Eun ho so he confesses to her and while she takes awhile to realize her feelings she does accept his confession in the end.
Another character that receives a lot of focus in this series is Song Dae hwi who is the first ranked student in the class who comes from a poor background. Dae hwi feels like he has to spend a lot of time helping out Kim Hee chan a rich student that is ranked second in the class because he needs money in order to afford extra classes and counseling that are vital for getting into the top rated school that he needs to get into to succeed. Dae hwi spends a good part of the series feeling like he has to do things that he doesn't want to do for Hee chan because he believes that he needs him to succeed even though doing those things eat away at him. In the last part of the series Dae hwi is able to finally pull himself a way from Hee chan and to reconnect with an old friend and make new genuine friends which helps him to become a much happier person.

There is also a plot thread about how Tae woon and Dae hwi used to be very close friends but aren't anymore because of what happened surrounding the death of their best friend and how they didn't understand or approve of the other's actions around that time. This plot was clearly made to try and recapture the magic of Nam soon and Heung soo's relationship from School 2013 and while I really do enjoy the plot in this drama as well it still doesn't hold a candle to that relationship because there wasn't enough time devoted to Tae woon and Dae hwi's relationship and they just don't have the same amount of chemistry that Nam soon and Heung soo did. Even though it didn't compare to what came before it, I still did love the relationship and was happy to see the two reconcile and become friends again.

Another plot thread dealt with a quiet student named Seo Bo ra who feels like the deck is stacked against her so high that there isn't any point in fighting for herself when other students try to make them take the fall for her. Eun ho ends up reaching out to Bo ra and this helps her to find her voice again and to believe that she can fight for herself again now that she has a friend by her side.

Overall I really loved this series for all the different characters, stories and relationships that it had in it even the ones that I didn't mention in this review. There are so many things to love about this series that I think watching it is well worth your time. TV Review: Just Between Lovers

                                                       Just Between Lovers
Just Between Lovers is about how Ha Moon soo and Lee Gang doo who are survivors from when a mall collapse thirteen years before the series started and how they are still dealing with the trauma that comes from what happened that day in different ways. Moon soo doesn't remember anything about the accident since she lost her memories of that time due to a head injury but since her younger sister who was also at the mall died that day she is suffering from a lot of guilt and her sister's death ended up destroying her parents marriage and damaging her relationships with her parents in different ways. Gang doo who was the last person to be rescued from the mall collapse is haunted by memories of what happened since he was the down there for nearly a week and spent several days with a dead body which is why he still suffers from nightmares and hears voices in his head that tells him he doesn't deserve to live well. Gong doo also received a pretty bad leg injury from having a piece of rebar stuck through his leg which well he can walk is something that still gives him trouble to this day.

Moon soo who works building small models for architect ends up being asked to work for the company that is rebuilding on the sight of the mall collapse which is something that she is understandable weary to be apart of considering what she went through there. Gang doo who hears about the construction makes sure that he works on the site and ends up destroying the memorial at the site which he gets found out for doing by the architect but he isn't arrested for since the architect thinks it would be a good idea to have someone like Gang doo around so that he doesn't over look something and that ends up causing another accident to happen in the future. Moon soo and Gang doo end up running into each other around this time and Gang doo ends up recognizing her from that day which makes him interested in her but she doesn't remember him at all and at first finds him to be rude but after awhile starts to see him as a good person.

As time goes on Moon soo and Gang doo end up spending more time together and learning more about each other and finding that they like each other and that being together is somewhat healing for them. When things first seem like they are going well in their developing relationship Gang doo starts to pull away from Moon soo because he doesn't actually believe that he deserves good things and thinks he'll ruin her in the end so once she figures out what he's doing she has to work hard to convince him otherwise.

Overall this series was really good it had a great character driven story about the leads overcoming their past traumas by falling in love and putting the past behind them. There were also a ton of great supporting characters in this series as well who all had their own storylines that I found myself caring about as well. This series also had some great performances by the leads as well which made the already great writing even better. Please tell me your thoughts about this series in the comment section below.

TV Review: Shadowhunters: Iron Sisters(2.06)

                                       Shadowhunters: Iron Sisters(2.06)Review
  • I liked that the episode opened up with showing us who the iron sisters were and what they do before we meet them later on in the episode.
  • I like that Jace and Clary are trying to figure out were the rune she used last episode came from since they have no idea where it came from.
  • I don't understand why Jace thinks it's such a bad idea to tell Izzy about the rune that Clary created because there's no way she would tell the clave about it which is why I can understand not telling Alec since he might tell the Clave about it since it's legally what you should do.
  • I'm glad that Raphael agrees to wipe Simon's mom's memories about him being a vampire.
  • I like that Clary tells Izzy that she's sorry that she stabbed and I like that Izzy told her that she didn't need to say sorry since she saved her from a demon.
  • I like that Clary asks Izzy to join the mission to visit the iron sisters because she wants to be able to do something to defeat Valentine since he's the reason why her mom is dead.
  • I like that when Aldertree suggested that Izzy spies on Clary that she is firmly against but sadly she somewhat agrees that because she's craving more yin fen.
  • I like that Simon called Clary to tell her what happened at home and I like that Clary is still upset that he and Luke weren't allowed to come to Jocelyn's funeral. I like that when Clary was worrying about Luke still not showing up that Simon promised that he would find her.
  • I like that Magnus sends Alec a fire message that tells him he has an emergency in order to get Alec to come over because he knows Alec is hurting and is working around the clock to avoid his feelings. I like that Magnus suggests that they go on a date now because it's important to make time for the important things.
  • I like that Maia also wants to find Luke and that she reluctantly agrees that Simon and her can go look for Luke together.
  • I like that when Simon started rambling that Maia asks if he always talks this much that he tells her that he does only when he's nervous and she asked why he would be nervous that he says that it's his natural state.
  • I liked that when the iron sisters were doubting that Clary was really one their side since she's Valentine's daughter that she tells them that she wants to defeat him more than anyone since he killed her mother and experiment on her brother.
  • I like that when Magnus tells Alec that he's not much of a beer drinker that Alec tells him he's not much of a drinker at all.
  • I like that we get to see Alec and Magnus go on their first date together which was fun to watch.
  • I like how Simon and Maia tell each other about their awkward experiences with being a vampire and being a werewolf and bond over that.
  • I don't find it surprising at all that Alec has never been in a relationship before but I also understand why Magnus finds it surprising since he probably hasn't been someone's first relationship ever before.
  • I was glad that Clary was able to pass the test for being free demonic energy but I was sad that Izzy failed the test because of the yin fen which she didn't know was demonic.
  • I was glad that one of the sisters told Izzy how dangerous yin fen is and that is not something that will ever heal someone.
  • I liked that Alec told Magnus that he didn't date partially because he didn't want to feel like something was wrong with him and I like that Magnus tells Alec that there is nothing wrong with him or with being inexperienced.
  • I find it funny how when Magnus said that he had 17 exes which Alec thought it was no big deal then he thinks he means 17 hundred then 17 thousand which Alec clearly thinks is an unfathomable amount of exes.
  • I like that it turns out that Luke was the one that taught Maia how to control herself which is why she's so loyal to him.
  • I find it frightening that when wielded by an angelic being that the soul sword could wipe out the entire downworlder population.
  • I like that Clary trust the Iron sister who is Luke's sister with asking her about her new rune that she couldn't tell her much about.
  • I like that Simon is able to talk Luke down when he's in wolf form by talking about a memory of the two of them along with Clary and Jocelyn going camping.
  • I like that Alec and Magnus decide that they want to give their relationship a go regardless of how different they are or how many people they have or haven't been with.
  • I dislike that Aldertree basically blackmailed Jace to leave the institute but I like that he came to Magnus's when he needed a place to stay.
  • I like how Simon and Maia tell Luke that they need him to come back with them and I like that he agrees after Maia tells him to draw strength from his loved ones.
  • I dislike how Aldertree acts like he didn't do anything wrong when he gave Izzy yin fen which is clearly not true.
  • I dislike that Luke sister killed her fellow iron sister because it seems like she is loyal to Valentine.
