Top 5 Thursday is a meme that I create to make lists of things involving TV and movies. I would love for anyone that sees this post to make list of their own whether it's in the comment section or on their own blog.
Since fall TV shows will start returning soon I thought that now would be the best time to make a list of my favorite season premiere episodes, I feel I should note that I'm not including any pilot episodes because I feel like pilot episodes are quite different with how there needs to be a lot more set up and so they won't be included on this list.
1. Doctor Who: The Eleventh Hour(5.01): I watched Doctor Who in a strange order in that I tried to start with the first series but I got bored with it after three episodes but then I decided I start with series 5 instead which was a really good decision on my part since I absolutely loved The Eleventh Hour. I loved the Eleventh Doctor right away with how odd he was and I loved little Amelia Pond and I loved how she handled the Doctor and is weirdness and the crack in her wall. I was sad for Amy when I found out that the Doctor had been gone for years and she had grown up waiting for the Doctor who no one else believed was real. I loved that Rory noticed that coma patients were walking around town while they were also in the hospital and that the Doctor notice Rory taking pictures of them was because he noticed something often. To be honest even though we weren't suppose to think of Rory as an important character yet I ended up loving the Doctor, Amy and Rory all as individual characters and also as a group. I loved seeing the Doctor get rid of the alien that was trying to destroy the world and then he called it back to tell it earth is under his protection. I really loved this episode and I thought it was a really good introduction for the Doctor, Amy and Rory.
2. Vampire Diaries: The Return(2.01): The first seven episodes of season 2 are pretty much regarded as the best period of the show by most fans and I have to agree with that statement. I loved this episode because it's the one that introduced us to modern day Katherine who is the best villain this show has ever had by far. Katherine was terrifying, charming and seductive and I completely loved her for it. I love how her motives are so unclear and I love that we just know she's up to something but no one has a clue as to what. I loved how seamlessly already Katherine is able to play Elena and I love how this adds an extra layer of threat to everyone who isn't in the know about vampires and doppelgangers. I loved that extremely sexy make out Katherine and Damon has it was so passionate and I love how he started off somewhat violently and I love that Damon poured his heart out to her and that Katherine lied to him and said she never returned his feelings because she's planning something and she can't afford to get distracted by emotions. I loved how the episode ends with Katherine killing Caroline telling her to deliver the message "Game on." because it just made me wonder what she's up to and how many people she's willing to kill to get what she wants.
3. The OC: The Aftermath(3.01): This is the first episode of The OC that I ever watched and this is the episode that made me completely fall in love with the show and it's characters. Even when I re-watch this episode I still love it and I feel like this episode in a lot of ways was a throwback to season 1 with Ryan getting arrested, Jimmy and Julie being together, Julie being villainous with getting Trey to blame the shooting on Ryan, Marissa and Summer dressing up as candy stripers and the fact that there were hardly any guest stars in this episode with it mostly focusing just on the main characters. I love this episode both because I think it's a good episode and because it's the one that introduced me to my favorite show.
4. Degrassi:TNG:When Doves Cry(2.01-2.02): This episode is the one that introduces Craig Manning who was my favorite character of the show and it does so with such an important storyline for him. While I don't think enjoy is the right word to describe how I felt about Craig's storyline about being abused by his father and feeling like he can't take it anymore I thought it was well written and especially well acted by Jake Epstein who I still have on a list of my favorite actors because of how much I enjoy his acting on this show. I also enjoyed the lighthearted subplot with JT trying to get a date with Paige probably mostly because I love both of those characters as well.
5. Revenge: Destiny(2.01): I really loved this episode because it just really got me excited about the rest of the season. I loved that Emily and Nolan had so many scenes together in this episode because I so missed seeing those two on my TV screen and I like them best when they're with each other. I loved that Emily was keeping in touch with Charlotte in order to have a new way into the Graysons lives and I loved how Victoria was revealed to have faked her own death with the help of the white haired man. I loved pretty much every bit of this episode and I don't think I have a particularly good reason as to why just that I really enjoyed it.

TV Review: Vampire Diaries: She's Come Undone(4.21)
Vampire Diaries: She's Come Undone(4.21)Review
- I liked that Damon wasn't able to get to Elena with sentimental emotions when he was in her head because well Damon really doesn't know Elena well enough to know how to manipulate her in that way.
- I like that Caroline is against the whole torture Elena's humanity back thing because it fits with Caroline's character who doesn't like to see her friends suffer not to mention Caroline has been tortured many times so she knows how awful it is.
- I do kind of like that Stefan refers to the torture as an intervention because that's pretty much what Lexi did to Stefan when he was the ripper before she died so it makes sense for Stefan to think of it that way.
- I hated that Elena kept telling Caroline that she was pathetic and that no one really wanted her around when Caroline was the only one that was being nice to Elena and wanted to help her in a non painful way. I also hate this because Elena must know that Caroline has always felt insecure in comparison to Elena so Elena saying these things must hurt more than it would if someone else said them.
- I think it's really weird that Elena claimed that she dumped Stefan because she didn't he broke up with her the day before the Miss Mystic Falls pageant because he didn't want to be with Elena if she was having dirty thoughts about his brother, so it seems odd that Elena didn't just say she broke his heart or something because it would have got the point across without her having to lie.
- I find it interesting that Damon is the one who was doing practically all the talking during the sunlight torture part of the episode because it's pretty clear that nothing he was saying was getting through to Elena because he is just plain horrible at understanding her. Also I think that Stefan's approach of barely saying a word and not having much of a reaction to Elena was working a hell of a lot better than anything Damon was doing because you could actual buy that Stefan wasn't all that affected by it unlike Damon and the whole point of this was to convince Elena is that they are willing to hurt her so.
- I loved that Elena told Damon flat out that she didn't love him and that she hated being sired to him because I have always suspected this was true but I'm glad that it was confirmed and also being sired sounds beyond horrible.
- I like that Elena pointed out that Stefan and Damon torturing her isn't going to work because they love her too much to let anything truly bad happen to her.
- I enjoy that Bonnie is working behind Silas back and that Silas can't get into her head anymore. I also like that Bonnie and Katherine are working together.
- I really loved Rebekah coming over to help Mat study after she found out that he's failing most of his classes because it shows that she cares for him and that she wants to do something for him so that he'll like her too, I just love that while Rebekah has the power to compel Matt she never would.
- I also love that after Caroline finds out Matt is failing his classes she rushes out to go get her note cards and all kinds of other things to help him study. I just love whenever we see hints of her perfectionist attitude.
- I found the whole Silas getting into Caroline's head repeatedly in order to get her to find out where Bonnie was to be very frightening and it once again makes me like Silas as a villain because of the whole he can literally be anyone and how he makes you doubt what your seeing and what is and isn't real and I think this episode did a great job of portraying that with Caroline.
- I like that the reason that Stefan thought Katherine would be willing to help with Elena is because he knows that Katherine hates Elena and would have fun torturing her.
- I love the scene were Katherine tortured Elena because unlike everyone else Elena wasn't able to hurt Katherine with her psychoanalysis of their actions because Katherine knows who she is and she knows that who she is isn't the most likable person but she owns who she is.
- I especially love the part were Katherine tells Elena that she has done awful things in order to survive but she doesn't turn it off she deals with it. I just love this line because it just shows how strong Katherine is emotionally and I love that after this Katherine says she doesn't think that Elena could last a week as a vampire without everyone fawning over her which I think could be true considering how much help she has gotten since long before she was a vampire.
- I really loved the scene between Katherine and Damon were they were both mean to each other about their love lives or rather the lack there of at the moments because they had very good chemistry in the scene and it reminded me of some of their scenes in late season 2 and early season 3 which made me happy and also them being mean made me believe that they still care about each other. Also I love that Katherine put her hand on the back of his in a gentle almost mockingly loving way and he seemed to enjoy that quite a bit and they shared an intense a eye gaze for a moment.
- I was pretty surprised that Elena didn't believe that Damon would kill Matt because Damon was more than willing to kill Matt plenty of other times for whole lot less of a purpose so it seemed really weird to me that Elena thought Damon gave enough of a shit about Matt's life or her emotional well being in the future to not kill him.
- I'm glad that Elena turned her humanity back on but I think it's weird that Damon gave her a speech about the meaning of humanity since he's the one who forced her to turn it off in the first place.
- I liked that Stefan was one that was able to calm Elena down once she had her humanity on because he's the one that actually understands who Elena is. I also like that Elena said she wasn't okay because I can't understand how someone in her position could be okay.
- I found the scenes were Caroline tried to wake her mom up and had to inject her blood into her heart to be extremely sad.
- I really love that Katherine is only willing to work with Bonnie if there is something in it for her because that works so perfectly with her character. I also love that Bonnie seems to have a plan screw Silas over in some way.
- I really hope Elena's plan to kill Katherine fails because I love Katherine as a character and it would be really bad writing considering that Katherine is much stronger and smarter than Elena and Elena seems to be only working to kill her not mention the almost the whole cast teamed up to kill Katherine in season 2 and they failed.
- I loved that Damon looked really upset when Elena said that she was going to kill Katherine and that he was the first t speak out against the idea.

Fantastic Five Friday: Top 5 Flashback Episodes
Fantastic Friday is a weekly meme that's hosted by The Weekly Enthusiast
1. Angel: Darla(2.07): This episode gives the backstory of Darla's character with how she became a vampire and more about her relationship with Angelous. I also loved the story set in the present with Darla having to come to terms with having a soul again and there quite a few nice parallels with how she dealt with feeling the wait of her soul and how Angel dealt with it. I overall love this episode and I think it's brilliant I love that it moves the plot forward while still providing a lot of backstory.
2. Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Fool for Love(5.07): This episode gives Spike's backstory of how he went from a lousy poet to a badass vampire who has killed two slayers. I really loved seeing how Spike evolved and love the relationship he shares with Drusilla it's both sweet and creepy especially the moment when the two of them had sex next to the corpse of the first slayer he killed. I loved the conversation between Spike and Angelous were it's made clear that Spike just likes a good fight and Angelous sees the murders he commits as a work of art, I just really like how the shows have always made a clear distinction between the two characters styles. I also loved that Spike told Buffy one of the things no one else would be willing to tell her about being a slayer which is that all slayers are more or less death seekers.
3. Vampire Diaries: Children of the Damned(1.13): I loved this episode which explained what was going on with all the vampires in 1864 and I like that it showed that there were so many vampires that were around that were sent to burn in the church. I also liked seeing the weird relationship that Stefan/Katherine/Damon seemed to share during that time period with how Damon and Stefan are both sleeping with Katherine and they both know about it and they don't seem to be fighting at all. I also loved that this episode showed how much Damon loves Katherine and I of course just loved seeing Katherine.
4. Dollhouse: Epitaph One(1.13): I love this episode which is a flashback flashforward with how this episode is set 10 years in the future for the main characters but there's flashbacks in this episode which tells the story of how civilization fell apart with the Dollhouse technology being released.
5. White Collar: Forging Bonds(2.11): I liked that in this episode we got to see what Neal's life was like before he got arrested as well as knowing how he met Kate and Mozzie.
Honorable Mentions: Firefly:Out of Gas; Heroes: The Company Man; Vampire Diaries: Katrina, Klaus, The End of the Affair and 1912; Revenge: Legacy; Dollhouse:Target. Also episodes that didn't make the list because I don't think of them as flashback episodes are Angel: Five by Five and Dollhouse: Belonging.

Fantastic Five Friday: Top 5 TV Couples
Fantastic Friday is a weekly meme that's hosted by The Weekly Enthusiast
1. Seth and Summer(The OC): I'm not exactly sure what to say about this couple other than I love them and I think that they're perfect for each other. I love how Seth had a crush on Summer for years before they got together and I love that part of the reason that he liked her was because of things no one else notices and I liked that part of the reason she started liking him back was because he likes her for things other guys don't even notice about her. I also love how they're different but at the same time similar enough that it makes sense why they would be good together. Also two of my favorite kissing scenes take place between those two the two scene are the coffee cart scene in season 1 and the spiderman kiss in season 2. I just really love them and I really need to rewatch The OC again in order to really properly describe my love for these two.
2. Ned and Chuck(Pushing Daisies): I love these two because they have this sweet fairytale like relationship that I just can't help but love. I also like how even though they can't touch each other they don't ever give up on their relationship and I like that they are perfectly content to just spend time together.
3. Victor and Sierra(Dollhouse): I love these two because they fall in love with each other no matter what the situation. I love that they were able to fall for each other when they were in doll state and in their original personalities but especially love that they were able to fall in love with each other even when they were imprinted with different personalities. I love this two because they always find each other and they prove to me that soul mates do exist.
4. Damon and Katherine(Vampire Diaries): I love this two together because they are actually quite similar to each other when it comes to personality and I love the history that exists between them. I love that Damon loved Katherine for 146 years and that he did everything he could to save her even though she was in no need of saving. I love that Damon has always known what kind of person(or rather vampire) Katherine was and he loved her all the more because of it not inspite of it. I love that Damon would have easily forgiven Katherine faking her own death for 145 years if she felt the same way about him. I also of course love the incredible chemistry between the two of them it's such a passionate relationship they share and I love it all the more for that. I think that Katherine loves Damon two it's just that she doesn't like to get attach to anyone ever because love causes people to make mistakes and if she made a mistake she could easily end up dead which is way she won't ever let Damon knows she loves him to. I could honestly write a super long paper on this two explaining why I think these two loved each other in 1864 and still do now in present day and why I think they're perfect for each other but I feel that I already said to much for just a quick list of favorite couples. That being said I will never stop hoping these two will admit they love each other and became a messed up version of a couple.
5. Spike and Drusilla(Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel): I love these two because they proved that just because someone is soulless it doesn't mean they're heartless. I also love that they were together for over a century and I just love the way the were so sweet and so creepy together at the same time.
Honorable Mentions : Declan/Holly J(Degrassi:TNG)Topher/Bennett(Dollhouse), Chad/Sonny(Sonny with a Chance), and Ryan/Taylor(The OC)

TV Review: Vampire Diaries: 1912(3.16)
Vampire Diaries: 1912(3.16)Review
- I liked how the 1912 flashbacks related to the modern day council member killings and I also liked that it wasn't in the predictable way that I thought it was going to be portrayed when I saw the promo.
- I liked seeing Stefan and Damon in flashbacks meet for the first time in nearly fifty years and I found it interesting that though Damon didn't want to be around Stefan he didn't want to make his life miserable either. I also found it interesting that though Stefan was similar to how he was at the start of the series but Damon was still closer to the 1864 version of himself with how he finds no joy in being a vampire and is still pretty formal.
- I loved that when Sage told Damon that women are also for pleasure that Damon told her he was spoken for, I loved this because this implies that Damon didn't have sex for 48 years because he was saving himself for Katherine. This is one of the sweetest things I've ever heard and it proves to me that I am right to have Damon and Katherine as my one true pairing.
- I'm glad that Sage was able to teach Damon that he could find pleasure in his vampire life because I feel at that point he really needed to.
- I loved how after Stefan and Damon add a drink together that Stefan tried to convince Damon to drink animal instead of human and how later on in the episode once Damon has found that life is still worth living that he convinces Stefan to drink human blood again, I love this two scenes because it shows how after they both found a better way to live that they both tried to convince the other to one to join them in order to share that life together.
- I was very creeped out when Stefan was draining that woman of her blood in 1912 and how he snapped her head off and I felt so bad for him as soon as he noticed this because he started saying he was sorry over again as he tried to put her back together again(I was really impressed by Paul Wesley's acting in this scene as well). I also liked that this scene gave a reason of why Stefan would hate Damon because have something that happened in the past. I also liked that Damon wasn't actually trying to hurt Stefan but he just hadn't realized how bad Stefan's bloodlust was yet and I loved that he offered to help Stefan but I totally understand why Stefan rejected his offer.
- I'm not really sure how I feel about Sage yet but she seems interesting so I look forward to meeting her in modern day.
- I liked that Damon thought it was insane for the sheriff Forbes to imprison Alaric and I liked that this led him into recounting the other time when council members were being murdered.
- I loved Damon and Stefan spending pretty much the whole episode together. I also loved that through out the episode Stefan was struggling with his quiting human blood and Damon was trying to convince him to instead try moderation which would prevent Stefan from becoming a ripper again.
- I liked that Damon mocked Stefan's diary again and I loved when Damon and Rebekah read mockingly from it later on.
- I liked that Damon described Finn as the creepy suicidal guy and I found it interesting that Finn had a past with Sage.
- I liked that Rebekah after finding out that the Salvtores were the ones who might know about the white ash tree, she decides to spend the day with them while searching for information that they don't really end up giving her. I really liked the dynamic between the three of them.
- I liked that Damon and Rebekah flirted a whole bunch in this episode and I now ship the two of them.
- I liked that Damon compelled a girl then bit her and then told Stefan that if he didn't drink from her Rebekah would kill the girl and while that might seem a little cruel I think it was good for Stefan to drink from the girl because he needs to be able to control his bloodlust and moderation is the way to do that. Also the girl didn't die so I think the experiment was a success which Damon agrees with.
- I loved that Damon tells Stefan that he's going to be there for Stefan every step of the way with helping him overcome his bloodlust and I love that he admits Stefan's the only one he's got because that has pretty much been true for the two of them since the beginning of the series. I also liked that Damon admits he feels guilty for not helping Stefan when he could have in the past.
- I liked that after Damon admits to care about Stefan that Stefan decides to be helpful in the investigating the 1912 council member murders and I liked that it was discovered that Samantha Gilbert confessed to the crimes a decade later and that she went crazy.
- I liked that Elena and Matt worked together to clear Alaric's name and I liked seeing more of Matt in this episode in general. I also ship Matt and Elena even more.
- I liked that Matt was able to sneak the journal because he's the only normal one in town so no one pays attention to him which is also kind of sad.
- I liked that Damon completely mocked Elena's attempts to making him feel guilty about turning Abby into a vampire because I don't think he has any reason to feel guilty because it's not like he knew or cared about Abby and no one died premantly. I'm also glad that Elena wasn't able to suck the personality out of Damon this episode.
- I'm kind of disappointed that we don't get to see Bonnie and her mom dealing with her becoming a vampire.
- I hated that Elena walked down the ally after Stefan had feed on the girl and then looked at him all judgemental and shocked. I hated Elena in that moment because I feel she has no right to judge because A) their vampires and they drink blood and no one died so get over it and B) she has no idea what's really going on so she shouldn't judge. I loved that Damon told her to leave and not make a big deal about it.
- I liked that Matt asked Elena about her relationship with the Salvtores because it must really confuse him. I interpreted Elena saying that she felt like Stefan could give her eternal love and that Damon is like an annoying rash that won't go away, I don't get why anyone still ships Damon and Elena.
- I liked that Elena mentions that crazy seems to run in her family, I also hope that this means Elena will go crazy one day because that would make her character actually interesting.
- I liked that after Alaric is released from jail that he and Elena agrees to look out for each other.
- I liked that Meredith was actually trying to protect Alaric by having him arrested and I liked that she isn't actually a psycho murder.
- I found it really surprising and interesting that Alaric is a killer because his ring is either driving him crazy or Samantha Gilbert is possessing him because he cheated death so many times.
- This may have been my favorite episode of the season so far.

TV Review: Vampire Diaries:Homecoming(3.09)
- I really enjoyed seeing Stefan, Damon and Elena working together, I didn't realize I missed their dynmic until this episode.
- I loved Rebecca in this episode, I liked how she told her father that he's the one that ruined their family and I felt bad for when she admitted she never been to a school dance before, I'm sad that she's dead now and hopes she comes back soon.
- I liked that Damon saying Elena is like Katherine is considered a compliment to him, to me it proves he still loves Katherine.
- I'm so happy that Katherine's still alive and She was great in this episode as usual, I knew it was her and not Elena since her first conversation with Klaus.
- I'm kind of sad that Caroline and Tyler broke up but I understand why they did.
- I thought that the plan they had with Micheal was actually really good and I'm a little dissapointed that it didn't work since a I'm pretty much sick of Klaus.
- The scene with Klaus and his father made me feel sympathy for him.
- I was surprised that Klaus somehow made it so that Damon would die if he did and I was even more surprised that Katherine cared for him enough to convince Stefan to interfer with the plan to kill Klaus. This made me so happy because Damon and Katherine is my favorite couple and it proved she kind of loves him and Stefan and Damon is my favorite realationship of the show.
- I'm glad that Stefan has his humanity turned back on and I'm curious about what he's going to do with the originals in the coffins, I hope he brings Elijah back.
- I was sad not see Jeremy or Alaric in this episode.

TV Review: The Vampire Diaries: The Reckoning(3.05)
- I loved that Damon and Katherine kissed and I don’t believe him when he says he doesn’t love her.
- I liked that they were all at school for the senior prank.
- I loved Rebecca through out the whole episode and I would love to see her as often as possible. I thought Rebecca pulled off crazy jealous really well.
- I thought that Klaus was actually a pretty good villain in this episode but why did it take him so long to figure out the original witch was lying to him.
- I liked that they developed the Bonnie and Matt friendship in this episode. I also like that Matt actually played a part in this episode and witnessed the supernatural stuff.
- I enjoyed Vicki and Matt reconnecting.
- I was worried for Tyler for most of the episode and I’m so glad that he’s okay and I love him and Caroline and I’m so happy their happy.
- I loved that Stefan was able to fight Klaus compulsion because of how much he loved Elena and I’m sad that he now lost his humanity.
- I’m glad that Stefan’s staying in Mystic Falls because I always loved Stefan and Damon scenes the most and there’s bound to be a lot more of them now.
- I’m really curious about Michal and I’m a little worried about Katherine’s safety.
