- I liked that this episode showed when the best was originally a threat and I liked that a female hunter named Marie was the only one that could defeat it. I liked seeing Crystal Reed on the show again even if she is now playing a different character.
- I liked that Chris and Gerard felt that it was important that Lydia heard all of Marie's story because they believed that she could be the one that defeats the beast.
- I liked that Hayden jump started Liam's healing process by kissing him rather than causing him pain, I also liked that Stiles said that he'd try that next time clearly thinking of this type of situation only involving Scott instead of Liam.
- I liked that Marie was at first skeptical about the supernatural and it took actually seeing the supernatural at work in order to convince her of its existence.
- I liked that Scott was doing his best to fight the beast but also to try to make sure that the beast went after no one but him because Scott's number one priority is always keeping others safe.
- I liked that Marie started learning about the supernatural and how to survive it from an Argent hunter.
- I liked that when Malia called Braeden for back up that she told her that she need to bring all of her guns.
- I found it an interesting twist that the beast's true form was that of Marie's brother and that while he has shown himself to be monster in both his forms he is still her brother and someone she cared about so killing him was something that she found extremely difficult.
- I liked that in the end Marie married into the Argent family and that she was the one that came up with the original Argent code, I just think it's fitting that the original and the new Argent codes were both made by characters played by Crystal Reed.
- I liked that Lydia pointed out to Chris and Gerard that she's not Alison and that she isn't an Argent so she's not the answer to how to stop the beast.
- I liked that Scott was able to catch the beast scent and figure out what teenager it is taking over and I was sad to learn that it was Mason but I like that Cory still seems to want to protect him despite knowing the truth.

TV Review: Teen Wolf: The Maid of Gevaudan(5.18)
Teen Wolf: The Maid of Gevaudan(5.18)Review
Movie Review: Ashby
Ashby Review
Ashby is about an awkward teenager Ed(Nat Wolff) who has recently moved to a new town and doesn't really fight in with the rest of his classmates. Ed ends up befriending his next door neighbor Ashby(Mickey Rourke) a retired assassin for the CIA who his dying and realizes that one of the kills he did was unjust so he decides to kill the people who knew this. The characters and the relationship that Ed and Ashby have is what mainly drives the film and their contrasting personalities make them interesting to watch as well as allowing for some form of growth from both characters.
This film didn't really have a strong plot but it had good character journeys and characters that were interesting and enjoyable to watch which made the film work well as a whole. I especially liked the character of Ed since he was awkward, somewhat nerdy and had a good heart which is a character type that I always like. I liked that a big part of Ed's character development had him developing more of a backbone. Ashby is a character that I felt grew somewhat through his friendship with Ed because he made him look at things differently and that led Ashby to wanting to right some wrongs before he died.
Overall I thought that this was a good movie and I enjoyed it quite a bit. I thought that this was a good character driven film that had good performances through out the film and I thought it was well written story as well. Please tell me your thoughts about this film in the comments below.

TV Review: How To Get Away With Murder: Skanks Get Shanked(2.04)
How To Get Away With Murder: Skanks Get Shanked(2.04)Review
- I'm glad that in the flash forward Annalise is getting taken to the hospital for her gunshot wound because that increases the chances for her survival. I also liked that Wes, Laurel, Michaela and Connor are all freaking out about the possibility of Annalise dying and I like that Nate is trying to keep them all calm.
- I was surprised that Nate's wife Nina asked Annalise to come see her and I was even more surprised when she asked Annalise to get her pills so that she could kill herself. I liked that Annalise was very taken aback by that request and that she spent a good part of the episode trying to figure out what she should do in this situation.
- I found the case with the client Zoe a teenage girl who took part in killing her best friend along with two other girls and I liked that both Annalise and other girls lawyer were arguing that their client was brainwashed by the other girl or girls. I found it very interesting that this entire case hinged on which of the girls are brainwashed and who are the ones just acting as a weapon.
- I liked how Connor saw parallels with the brainwashing case that Annalise laid out in court and how she treats the group and I like that he explained why what Annalise is doing with them is a form of brainwashing. I think the thing that I liked the most and found the scariest is the fact that he's probably right about this even though the others don't agree with him.
- I found it interesting that Wes and Levi aren't just working together to figure out what happened to Rebecca but that Wes is also letting Levi stay with him and I liked that when Levi insulted Wes's apartment that Wes told him since he lives in his care he really doesn't have room to judge.
- I liked that during the first half of the case Connor was sort of projecting his own issues onto Zoe and that he really believed in her story and wanted to help her.
- I liked that when Michaela was trying to get Caleb to give a good testimony in case he had to take the stand in court that Michaela pointed out that a lot of his testimony sounded self pitying and that she revealed that she too was adapted so she gets what he's going through on some level.
- I liked that during this episode both Connor and Michaela had some ask them if they'd ever been apart of or accused of murder because even though the people who asked them those questions expected the answer to be no you can tell how thrown off by the question they are.
- I liked that when Wes found out that Levi was lying to him about stopping seeing Michaela that Wes tried to throw him out and be done with him because he didn't want to have to deal with someone who constantly lies to him but since Levi got new information for Wes the two continue to work together.
- I liked that Laurel stole Zoe's phone because she didn't buy Zoe's story and she found a hidden video on it where Zoe was joking about killing her best friend Rachel and saying that her and the other two girls should kill someone else and even suggested killing one her teacher because she gave her C in her class so they should carve a C into her head.
- I liked that after seeing the video Connor actually wanted Zoe to be found guilty because it became clear that not only had she killed her best friend but she had expressed a desire to kill someone again after doing so. I like that Connor was upset by the fact that everyone else seemed to still be okay with defending her because she was someone who is truly dangerous.
- I liked that Connor found a way to get the video of Zoe talking about killing Rachel to the other side before Annalise had deleted all the copies of it.
- I liked that Annalise actually almost won the case for Zoe using a part in the video where it seemed like the other girl was leading Zoe rather than the other way around and I liked that the only reason this defense probably didn't end up working out is because Zoe showed her true colors in court when the other girl said they never wanted to be friends with her and Zoe got up and screamed at her that she was nothing before they met and that she will kill her later on. Her reaction just makes me really happy that Annalise didn't win her case for her because she is very dangerous.
- I liked that Connor told Annalise that he did get the video to the other side and that he would do it again and that the real reason he couldn't help Annalise win her case is because he can't deal with having anymore blood on his hands then there already is. I really didn't like how Annalise made Connor feel even more trapped in working for her by telling him that his car that has Sam's blood in it is still around, I'm not sure if I believe that she actually still has that around or not but I still dislike the way she makes him feel even more helpless than he already does.
- I liked that Michaela found out that Cathy is a virgin and that is something that they were able to medical prove which takes away the weight of the incest rumors that have been going around about Caleb and Cathy.
- I liked that Asher made a deal to tell Sinclair all he thinks he knows about what goes on at Annalise's house both to protect himself and because he truly believes that Annalise killed Sam and she shouldn't get away with it. I liked that when Bonnie found out about what he was doing she told him that she was the one to kill Sam in order to prevent Asher from testifying against Annalise the next day.
- I liked how Annalise told Nina that she had thought about killing herself through out her whole life but she's never done it and that she figures if she doesn't deserve to die than someone like Nina who is a much better person than her surely doesn't deserve to die.
- I'm worried about what will happen now that Annalise knows that Wes and Nate are working together behind her back on something.
- In the flash forward the scene at the end indicates that Michaela is involved with Caleb in the future and I'm wondering how that happened.
Movie Review: Paper Towns
Paper Towns Review
Paper Towns is based off of a book by John Green of the same name and it's the story about a high school senior Quentin Jacobson(Nat Wolff) who has had a crush on his much more popular neighbor Margo Roth Spiegelman(Cara Delevingne) who he hasn't been close to in years. One night Margo decides that her and Quentin will spend the night pranking people who have wrong her and Quentin believes that this could be the start of something between them but the next day Margo disappears and it becomes clear that she has ran away. Quentin along with his best friends Ben(Austin Abrams) and Radar(Justice Smith) and Margo's best friend Lacey(Halston Sage) spend the next couple weeks looking for clues about where Margo could have gone. The group ends up going on a road trip in order to find Margo.
This film is one that is very similar to the book and since I wasn't a huge fan of this book it made my enjoyment of the film not be has a high as it could be. I really enjoyed all the characters other than Margo and I really liked the character dynamics between all of those characters so there were actually a lot of things I did like in the film but having it all be centered around Margo really did take away from my overall enjoyment of the film. I did like that it felt like the movie was more centered around Quentin's friendship with Ben and Radar than his crush on Margo so that was a change I enjoyed along with the timeline being a lot faster than it was in the book.
Overall I thought that this was a good adaption of a book that I wasn't huge fan of but I did think it was a pretty good movie. I thought that the acting was overall pretty good and the only technical thing I had a problem with is that there were quite a few times when the characters would be talking too quietly for me to hear. Please tell me your thoughts about this film or the book.

TV Review: Scream: I Know What You Did Last Summer(2.01)
Scream: I Know What You Did Last Summer(2.01)Review
- I liked that Noah did a recap of what happened last season and I liked that he only told us things that Noah would actually know.
- I thought the idea of starting off the episode with an in universe slasher movie was an interesting idea because it both ups tension at beginning only to bring it down again very quickly when it's revealed that it's just a movie so that tension can be built up again later.
- I liked that Audrey getting threatening texts is something that builds itself up through out the episode because at the beginning it feels like it could be some sort of prank but as time goes on it becomes more seriously threatening.
- I liked that Audrey told Noah that he wasn't allowed to ask Emma to be on his podcast and talk about the murders because she knows that Emma won't want to talk about what happened right after she gets back.
- I liked that it was explained that Emma had a breakdown shortly after the murders and that she went away to get treatment for everything that had happened.
- I thought the prank that those two kids played on Audrey that involved making her think that someone was trying to kill her and another girl was really cruel and stupid and in all honesty that guy deserved to be stabbed since he made Audrey believe that he was going to kill her.
- I liked that the cop told the girl who was in on Audrey's prank that they weren't going to arrest Audrey because she was clearly just trying to defend herself.
- I liked that Noah was with Audrey and comforting her after the whole ordeal with the prank.
- I liked that Brooke told Jake right before Emma came over that he wasn't allowed to talk about anything related to the murders and I liked that when Audrey arrived she said basically the same thing.
- I like that show is clearly showing that Emma is still very much affected by everything that happened to her last season and that we are still seeing her struggling with the trauma of it all.
- I like that even though Emma broke up with him Kieran still kept in touch with Emma while she was away and I actually thought that they were somewhat cute together when they were reconnecting.
- I thought that it made total sense that Emma never listened to Noah's podcast and didn't want to be on it since she just wants to move on from everything that happened.
- I liked that when Audrey got the call from who is most likely the new killer that she was pretty snarky and angry towards him because it shows that the dynamic between her and the new killer is going to be very different than Emma and the killer during season one. I also liked that while we could see that Audrey was scared by the calls it was different from the way that Emma showed her fear last season.
- I liked that Noah figured out that there were actually three people that planned to prank Audrey in the comment section on his podcast and I like that Noah wants to figure out who the third person is.
- I like that Brooke and Jake have been together for quite a while now and I understand why Brooke wants to keep their relationship secret and why Jake doesn't want to. I liked that when they fought that the last thing Jake said to her was that he loved her.
- I think that Emma's dream about the pig farm is pretty weird and I was surprised to learn that she has been having dreams like that for years now.
- I was sad that Emma told her mom that she kind of felt like running away from her mom because of everything that happened makes everything feel different now.
- I liked that when Emma looked close to freaking out that Audrey held her hand and the two of them walked like that to class.
- I disliked how the psychology teacher somewhat singled Emma out on how psychology can be useful in their daily lives while knowing that Emma has just came back to school.
- I liked that Noah and Zoe seemed to somewhat be trying to one up one another while talking about how to apply psychology theory to their lives.
- I liked that Noah had a speech about the importance of horror movies a psychological perspective.
- I liked that Emma asked Zoe for help because she's one of the only people at school that doesn't stare at her.
- I liked that the creepy new guy told Noah that he's too focused on the endings and brings up the idea that maybe things never end such as killings in Lakewood. I found that last remark to be somewhat suspicious and I think that this what made Noah start think that maybe they aren't as save as they think they are now.
- I liked that when Audrey showed Noah the threatening texts that he made her go to the police station because he was worried that someone might be trying to seriously hurt her.
- I liked that the police officer made Noah leave the room because he could tell that Noah wanted to file a report but Audrey didn't really and since it was really her choice he thought it was best that he got Noah out of the room.
- I understood why Audrey yelled at Noah and told him to let go of the idea that there is an accomplice and to stop obsessing and worrying about what happened and what is happening but I also was sad that they were fighting.
- I liked how Brooke told Emma how Jake had become her rock when Emma was away.
- I liked how Brooke told Emma that everyone is breakable even the people that seem to have things the most together.
- I liked that Audrey and Noah made up but I'm worried about what's going to happen if Noah finds out that the accomplice that he's looking for his Audrey.
- I like how Emma and Kieran want to work together to help each other get better after everything that happened and that they realized that they couldn't just pick up where they left off.
- I liked that Emma went on Noah's podcast and said that everyone that survived is a final girl(or boy) because on a meta level that means who the final girl is could actually change and that means that this season Emma may not be save in the same way that she was last season.
- I liked that Noah kind of told Emma that his way of coping was obsessing about what happened and trying to get all the answers.
- I liked that Emma took Brooke with her when she went to investigate the pig farm but I agree with Brooke that it would have been smarter to investigate it during the day.
- I was a little sad that Jake died but I'm mostly just surprised that Jake made it all the way to season two considering that he was only ever a guest star in a slasher TV show so it was good for him that he lasted as long as he did.
- I like that the new killer seems to be more theatrical with how the killer hung Jake upside down before killing him with a scythe.
- I felt bad for Audrey when it was revealed that the new killer knows that she helped Piper plan some of the kills but I like that it seems like Audrey didn't actually commit any of the murders.
- I'm worried about Emma since she seems to be in the same room as the new killer.
TV Review: Teen Wolf: A Credible Threat(5.17)
Teen Wolf: A Credible Threat(5.17)Review
- I liked that Parrish asked Chris to follow him when the hellhound takes over at night because he wants to make sure that he isn't hurting anyone and that he even tells Chris to stop him if he is hurting someone. I liked that Chris also texted Scott about where the hellhound was heading.
- I liked that Scott and Stiles were a bit annoyed by Liam when he slammed the jeeps door because they didn't want to attract any unnecessary attention.
- I liked that when one of the people that were attack by the beast asked for help that Scott moved forward to help him but the hellhound stopped him because he knew this was a trap laid by the beast.
- I find it frightening that it appears that the beast is getting smarter and therefore even harder defeat.
- I like that Breaden was watching over Malia at night because she feared that the desert wolf may try to kill her at anytime and I like that Melissa also surrounded the house in mountain ash to insure that the desert wolf isn't able to get to Malia.
- I liked that when Scott and Kira were getting it on that they talked about the charity lacrosse game that they had completely forgotten about.
- I liked that when Cory told Mason that he was leaving that Mason told Cory that he needs Cory and that Cory told him that Mason didn't need him because he's too smart to need anyone and that it's always the smart ones that survive. I liked that Mason then asked Cory to survive with him.
- I liked that Mason figured out that it was frequencies that attract the beast to certain places and that the dread doctors are controlling where the beast appears based on those frequencies.
- I liked that Scott, Stiles. Lydia and Liam discussed what Mason just figured out about frequencies and that they had all determined that the beast will appear at the charity lacrosse game. I liked that Liam pointed out that since they know the where and when that's more of an advantage then they usually have when it comes to the beast but Scott points out that there will be too many people there so the group decides that they need to get the game cancelled.
- I liked that Stiles found out through his dad that whoever the beast really is, is someone who wears a size ten shoe and that they all come up with a plan to find a size ten shoe with Parrish's blood on it.
- I find it weird that Parrish apparently passed out in the library after he transformed out of hellhound mode and that no one noticed him until Lydia found him.
- I liked that Stiles tried to get his dad to cancel the game but he couldn't because he doesn't have the authority to do so unless he can prove that there's a credible threat and I liked that Stiles pointed out that there would be an incredible threat if the beast showed up.
- I liked that the Sheriff pointed out that the Coach is someone who could stop the game by forfeiting it and I liked that when Stiles pointed out that the coach they currently have is a by the book and then the Sheriff suggests Finstock who isn't by the book at all.
- I like that Scott and Stiles goes to place where Finstock has been going to rehab and I like that when they try to get him go back to coach a game he refuses because he doesn't want to get shot by an arrow again.
- I liked that Finstock asked if the charity game was for or against cancer and I liked that Stiles said it was deeply against it.
- I like that Scott and Stiles eventually convinced the Finstock to come to forfeit the game and that at the last minute he decided against it.
- I liked that Scott told everyone that he healed when the rescued Lydia from Eichen House because the pack was all together then.
- I find it interesting and frightening that when the beast remembers itself it will become the man it was when he was first alive and that the teenager will no longer exist.
- I liked that Parrish had to meet with the hellhound in order to find out what he needs to do in order to defeat the beast.
- I liked that most of the pack was checking everyone's shoes during the lacrosse game in order to figure out who the beast really is and I liked that Brett and his sister helped out Scott and the pack.
- I liked that Malia was taking out all the broadcasting vans in order to prevent the beast from transforming and killing everyone.
- I find it interesting that Parrish really did die when that bomb explode and that is when the hellhound became apart of him and why he is still alive now. I liked that Lydia had to convince the hellhound to let Parrish in so that they could work together and defeat the beast.
- I liked that when Kira started to get out of control that Scott, Liam and Brett had a plan to get her kicked off the field so that she didn't hurt anyone too badly.
- I liked that Brett's sister tried her best to help Kira but she was unable to because the fox spirit had taken over her. I thought that the fight sequence between the two was fairly impressive to watch.
- I liked that when the desert wolf stopped Malia from completely her task that Malia called her a bitch and that she told her that while she's totally up for kill her she has more important things to do at the moment.
- I liked that Malia told the desert wolf that she doesn't have the right to call her sweetheart and that she doesn't want anything to do with her.
- I liked that Hayden told Liam that she is now with him and the rest of Scott's pack because she believes that Liam is right about Scott being able to figure something out.
- I liked that Scott was able to snap Kira out of her fox possessing her but I'm really worried about Kira since this keeps happening.
- I like that the desert wolf noting that Stiles is someone Malia cares about indicates that Malia still has feelings for him but I dislike that the desert wolf knows this because it means that she'll go after Stiles to hurt Malia.
- I'm worried about just how many people are going to get hurt because the beast transformed during the game.

Book Review: Dare Me
Dare Me Review
Dare Me is a book about competitive high school cheerleading and the complicated relationships that teenage girls have with each other. Addy is the second in command to her best friend and cheer captain Beth a girl who is always up to something and enjoys having power over other people. There have been few times during their long friendship where Addy has tested Beth but when a new Coach who isn't much older than the girls on the squad takes over and undermines Beth's power of the squad things began to change both on the squad and in Addy's and Beth's friendship.
The main focus throughout the book is whether Addy should a lining herself with either Beth or Coach and both them are people who I wouldn't deem trustworthy but Addy seems to somewhat worship both of them but in different ways. Coach is someone who it seems like never grown up with how she is so focused on her own wants and needs over everyone else in her life and with how she invites the girls on the squad over to her house to drink and such things despite that being entirely inappropriate. Beth is a girl who is damaged and seems to thrive on chaos but between her and Coach I would say that she cares more about Addy's well being even though she doesn't show this care in a particularly nice way.
Overall I really loved this book I found the story and the characters intriguing. I found that Addy being more of a passive character actually made the story more interesting in a way since she was constantly torn between the wants of two dominant personalities. I thought that the writing was pretty good and I really loved the narrative voice that the book had it just keep me wanting to know more. Please tell me your thoughts about this book.
